The first book I read by this author “Cuffed by a Certified Maniac” was a 5 star read for me. It had me anticipating this story between Amir and Monique. However, this book was borderline painful. It seems as if Nek tried too hard to create the same magic she created in book one. Where the humor and witty dialogue flowed naturally in the first book, it seemed forced and not really funny in this one. I mean there were actually some funny moments but not many. Jaseon, Amir’s brother held a great amount of swag and BDE in book one but their (Amir & Jaseon) antics seemed extremely far fetched and ridiculous here, more like a parody of the first book. The characters seemed to take on a different vibe than they previously had and Amir seemed like a love sick puppy. Last but certainly not least, I don’t think Nek proofread this book nor employed an editor. This book was full of errors. Words were often used in the wrong context and some left out. If you’re looking for some foolish fuckery to entertain you in between some of the heavier reads then this book is for you. Enjoy!

I was excited when I saw there was another certified maniac book out. Just had to check this out to see if anyone was a crazy as Jay! Bre too of course! Fun catching up with those two nuts, as they are still raisin’ hell, with all them bad ass kids! 😂 Miss Mo! Was just a sweetheart, who got caught up and fell in love with a fboy! A man who berated her and tore her all the way down! My heart broke for her as she felt like she didn’t deserve love, and affection because she was a thick girl!
Amir had me swooning how he catered to Mo, and slowly brought her out of the darkness that she subjected herself to, after her breakup! He was patient, and loving, knowing all that she had gone through. That man wanted her bad and did all that he could to show her that she was beautiful and worthy of all life had to offer!
That damn Malik! Where do these men get the audacity to put a woman down, make her feel like ish, say you don’t want her; but can’t take the L when she leaves? She supposed to stick around and let you dog her for the rest of her life? Man, get the hell on! 👀🤡 I was livid as he got Trina’s ole triflin’ ass involved with this mess, and for what? 🤬
He done turned the crazy meter up for the McKnight men, and it ain’t gone be pretty! So, Amir may be right there with Jay in the crazy department! Cause whew! I enjoyed all the crazy, but most of all the love that Mo and Amir shared. Great read! 👍👍👍

When am I getting my own Amir he was perfect man for Monique 🥹 get you a man who waits for you for a 6 months/ 1 year who isn’t intimate with nobody and wants take things to next level with you😫 Monique overcoming her insecurities that her ex boyfriend created, MALIK AIN’T SHIT 😒🖕🏾HE CAN CHOKE AND DIE FOR ALL I CARE 😁 but if you like 10,000 hours with menace or obsessive love you definitely love this duet, they literally giving menace little brothers

Still swooning over Amir
I adored Jay, in Cuffed By a Certified Maniac (although Bre is my favorite) but Amir quickly stole my heart with his gentleness. Even though he was on the same rah rah time, like his brother, he was still patient, kind, loving and accepting of Mo.
This story had a completely different vibe than the previous book, but I enjoyed the story. There were definitely moments that made me roll my eyes hard, and even walk away for a minute, but overall, I understand all the back and forth (for the most part)
I'm very glad Monique was able to see everything and everyone for what it was.

The younger brother of Jay whom we meet in Cuffed byCertified by a maniac Amir is a bit unhinged as well but the most sweetest maniac you will ever meet. We met his love interest in the first book who is the best friend of his brothers wife.
Amir loved Monique since day one and you talking about patience is the virtue this man had all the patience.
Monique dealt with situations from her past that had her feeling unworthy to be loved and insecure. Amir was that dude that lifted her up and spoke nothing but positivity into her daily.
When her past comes to shake things up, Amir is there to handle business. The banter in this book between Jay, Breonna and Amir was good! One side character I loved was the Doctor she knew these fools had some screws loose and she was here for it.
If there is ever an update on those bad children I’m here for it they just knew they ran their parents. Them fools had a whole basketball starting lineup and some subs by the time the book ended. 😂😂. Will be reading more from this author💕

Loved by A Certified Maniac by Nek Mills is book two of her series that focus on Jay brother Amir and his wife best friend Monique. Monique was healing from a verbally abusive relationship with her ex Malik. I loved how understanding and open Amir was throughout the book. Mo wanted to take her time in the relationship because she didn’t want to make the same mistakes. Amir did not play about Mo and I loved that for my girl. Jay and Breanna were so funny in this book. Nek Mills know she can make me laugh while talking about real issues in relationships.

This was Sooo entertaining. I mean Amir was just as bad as Jay. This book had me laughing so hard. Jay is an absolute fool! His twins are oil terrors. When they started beating Jay up before the wedding, I fell out. I glad Mo got her happy ending. Loved this story. 👍🏿🙂

I was so disappointed with this one. This book was identical to the first one. It had the same plot but with different characters… Also hella errors and misspellings which became super annoying. I feel like I wasted my time reading 🥴

Nek Mills is 3 for 3 for me. She did not disappoint with this one. I love that I can laugh while reading her books and I loved so hard at this one. Between Amir, Jaseon, and Breonna I don’t know who had me laughing the most. The kids are right up there behind the parents. Them twins had me laughing so hard. With the remote to the temple 🤣🤣🤣 and “you wanna fight? “ I laughed and cried tears. Amir showed Mo how much he loved her from beginning to end of this story. I knew from the first book Amir was just as crazy as Jay. I loved that Mo was able to stick up for herself finally. The hospital scene is what I laughed the most at. Definitely read this if you need a good laugh.

Listen I don’t know which is my favorite now, CBACM or LBACM baby either way I love the McKnight brothers. I thought Jay was unhinged but baby I think Mir had him beat cause when that man decided he was getting the ones responsible for attacking Mo, he definitely took it to the extreme. The surprise wedding had me not just crying but laughing. I loved this story. Thank you Nek as usual you are and left no crumbs!!!!!!

Even their over-the-top actions endear them to me. I hope we get a story on Mitch and Jade that includes an update of the previous two couples.

A true page turner ✨✨✨
I have some many favorite parts in this book. I thought Jay was bad but being around him even made Amir crazy 🤣.
I was so ready for Amir and Monique’s story’s I knew it would be amazing and this book definitely took my thru some emotions. The way Mir loved on Mo was everything and once she got out her own way she was able experience everlasting love like no other. Baby Amir is NASTYYYY and BDE for sure!
Everyone deserves a bestfriend like Breonna because baby I’m riding just like her for my bestfriend at all times. Jay just lord I love his character, he ain’t give a flying F about nobody and when he called Bre about a hypothetical scenario I understand a lot of screws was gone 🤣🤣🤣 that man was certified and it rubbed off Amir.
Malik was delusional on all accounts because you after the 2nd a** beating you should have just left bro 🤦🏾♀️🤣🤦🏾♀️. Trina was a sad case as well, man some woman can be so dumb 🤦🏾♀️. Everyone deserved what they got for sure.

I really liked Mo and Amir 🥰🥰🥰. Their journey was super cute, crazy, hilarious, sexy and had me feeling all warm inside 🤭
Amir was a man who knew what he wanted and was willing to play the long game if needed because he knew Mo was the one after meeting her at a community event. Amir was crazy however that man poured so much love and support into Mo. I loved that for her because Mo is a BOSS
I loved Mo she was a thick girl who at the start of the book was lacking confidence and was still healing from an awful breakup. But once she finally started listening to everyone who was telling her nothing but the truth Sis got her confidence back accepted love and became that girl. She was already on her grind and kept herself looking good she just needed a little pick me up
Malik and Trina got what they deserved
Jade is a real one ( I hope she gets a book) I loved how she stepped up for Mo with the spa

Amir was so patient with Monique and he was going at her pace, but baaaaaby she was blocking her blessings. She was so deeply entrenched in past hurts and insecurities because her ex broke her down so badly so she could be “dependent” on him, and boooooy he did a doozy on her!
If letting your past blocked your future was a name it would be called Monique! Her mom was spitting facts when she said, if your ex got so much control and power over you then please please baby girl go back to therapy.
Monique needed to twists her crown like the Queen she is, and chucked the deuces on her ex, because when a person stay stagnant in the past they making the culprits win. She was waaaay too successful to be holding on to past hurts, and insecurities.
I ain’t going to tell tales folks, but I had to pause reading her scenes because Monique was very trying character woosa!
Amir just wanted to love baby girl, and be her peace.

Love, Happiness And Family!!
I loved the way that Amir was patient, caring with Mo. Mo is the sweetest person. She was scared that Amir was just feeding her a line, just to get in her pants. Malik literally broke her down to make her feel that she wasn’t worth to be loved. I loved the sisterhood that she and Bre has. You can tell that Amir and Jay came from the same bloodline, but act totally different. That doesn’t mean Amir can’t act ignorant with the best of them. I was happy that Mo finally opened her heart and let Amir love on her. Jade was a real good friend to Mo. Her and Mitch make good couple. It really took a lot for Ma Michelle to just on trip with their mammy. Malik, Nadia, Trina and Jane doe got what was coming to them.

Amir has been waiting for Monique to see and accept his love, and he just wants her to let her guard down. Monique's fears were real, as was her insecurity about being a bigger girl and having her confidence beat in--I can relate to that. But I love the way she came into the love deserved. I loved seeing her get brave and grab her man. Her ex was a piece of work, but he had a chance to get right and he didn't take it--his bad. Mo and Mir were passionate too, and always showing their love for each other. I love the way the author really expressed how affected they were by the other. The romance was definitely there.
Breonna and Jay are still unhinged and hilarious, with their house full of kids. They kept me laughing. And the way Bre rode for her girl was unmatched. The way her and Jaseon's love gave them both so much insight and good support for Amir and Mo was nice. And them creating the family they all needed was a good piece of the writing.

Amir has been in love with Mo since day one. Monique has a hard time committing to him due to the scars of her past relationships. Once Mo decides to stop running from the love she deserves, her past comes back to torment her.
This story was full of twists and turns I loved every minute of it! Amir was a gentle maniac. His mouth was reckless and he was more calculated with his crazy than his brother Jay. He was so patient and gentle with Mo. The fact that he handled her with care allowed her to grow her confidence. The Amir in this book compared to book 1 was more sensitive but I loved the two contrasting sides of him.
Another good one! I will definitely be diving into Nek Mills catalogue!

Did What It Was Supposed To Do!
Amir, Amir, Amir, that's my man, and I will gladly fight about him! Hear me. This book was everything my little heart wanted. We have Amir, who is sweet and gentle with a heavy dose of crazy. Then there is Monique, who has been through hell and back from her last relationship, which has left her incredibly guarded. The story starts off with a strong friendship that turns into an even stronger relationship. We have drama from exes, fake friendships, and fraud employees. This book started hot and never let up. I highly enjoyed it. I laughed like only the McKnight Brothers could with their shenanigans. Only the second book by this author but she is quickly becoming a favorite! Well done, Ms. Mills

Then there is Monique, who has been through hell and back from her last relationship, which has left her incredibly guarded. Monique had me worried for a minute. Amir showed her for a year that he really wanted to be with her and she still didn’t want to give in because of her past. I’m glad Breonna got her straight. Now the brother’s aunt Gloria, she was wrong in both books. But I bet she won’t bring nobody else around them that they don’t care for 🤣🤣. Malik was trifling from the beginning to the end. How you treat Monique bad but expect her to stay with him? Amir had me thinking they were gone need another doctor. The wedding scene was perfect that caught me by surprise. I hope we can get a book about the twins. They are something else

We already know Jay wasn’t playing with Bre with his crazy self 😭😭😭… Amir was on the same time applying ALL the right amount of pressure. When he said he wasn’t come off of Mo he definitely meant that and I LOVE that for my girl ! He poured so much love into her when she couldn’t see it herself. Her ex really did a number on her and even went she didn’t feel like she was good enough for Amir, he always let her know that she was his endgame! We really watched Mo go from a caterpillar to a butterfly! Amir would paint the town red bout his Butta …AND DID 😏

I'M LOOKING FOR AMIR!!
From the first book I've read of yours, I feel in love with your work. They way Amir healed Mo through love and affirmation was beautiful. The surprise wedding was swoon worthy. Malik, Trina, and the other girls were complete idiots. How you go from degrading someone to obsessed? Trina was just slow, lol. They paid the ultimate price with their life. Now, those kids were bad as all get out, the way they beat their dad up at before the wedding was too funny. I want more of them!!!!

The title of this book describes the story within. Both brothers are certified maniacs. The relationships they have with their women will keep you laughing. The hard time Mo gave Amir before they really got together because of issues in her last relationship was crazy. She hadn't healed from those issues and he had to help her heal. Once they got it together here comes her ex trying to get her back. All of the drama he caused in their lives made karma to give him just what he deserved. These characters and their kids kept me laughing.

I love that loved picks up where cuffed left off instead of overlapping the timeline. I like how that naturally shows a progression and it makes me love Amir more! The patience he had with Mo was unmatched. A whole year?! That is some love okay! His mouth is crazy like his brother but they really are completely different people! Amir wore his heart on his sleeve with Mo. He made it his mission to love her, build her up, make sure he SHOWED his love instead of just saying the words. His gentle was my absolute favorite thing about him!

I laughed so hard at the foolishness in this book. Amir and Jay are so menacing, unhinged, ignorant, craziest, no nonsense, taking everybody out, best book baes I have had the pleasure of reading. There were just so many entertaining parts in this book. Amir telling Mo how he was going to take her out then console her moms at the funeral, before admiring the view on the balcony at breakfast in the same breath. Or that ghetto name for their baby. This book/series ate down and left no crumbs. Nek Mills have all the flowers you deserve.

I absolutely love a good series or interconnected books. Amir and Monique are introduced in Cuffed by a certified maniac. Amir is Jayson's baby brother and Monique is Breonna's best friend/sister. Reading about how Jayson and Breonna are still going drug with their children was nice. Amir loved on Monique like she deserved. Malik, the ex, Trina, and Nadia are dealt with. I would love a book about Mitch and Jade were were get it's about everyone else. Bet I know that the author has moved on to other characters.

Amir was a phenomenal man! I loved how patient he was with Mo, but like girl at some point in time you gotta let that hurt go and heal. It was mind blowing to me how they were in each other’s space for a whole year and some change & she never really moved things forward with him. Like this man don’t wanna do nothing but love you & it’s taking 50 million people to tell you what he been telling you before you believe it 😐 Once she got it together though, they were great. Amir definitely has some of his brother in him for sureeee 🤣
