Everyone has something to hide. Including the nanny.
Janey hadn’t heard from her sister Kelly since she ran away from home eight years ago.
Until the day the letter arrived.
A disturbing letter.
But before Janey could make contact, Kelly disappeared again. And the only clue they had to work with was in Redemption, Wisconsin, where Kelly had worked as a nanny.
So, Janey decided to follow in her sister’s footsteps … by taking over her job.
The family has secrets, and the more Janey digs, the more twisted the story becomes.
And the more Janey realizes she might be the next to disappear.
Welcome to Redemption, Wisconsin, a town with a troubling past, where nothing is as it seems.
“The Third Nanny” is a standalone, psychological thriller, set in the world of the award-winning Secrets of Redemption series.
A USA Today Bestselling, award-winning author, Michele taught herself to read at 3 years old because she wanted to write stories so badly. It took some time (and some detours) but now she does spend much of her time writing stories. Mystery stories, to be exact. They're clean and twisty, and range from psychological thrillers to cozies, with a dash of romance and supernatural thrown into the mix. If that wasn't enough, she posts lots of fun things on her blog, including short stories, puzzles, recipes and more, at MPWNovels.com.
Michele grew up in Wisconsin, (hence why all her books take place there), and currently lives there after spending nearly 30 years living in the mountains of Prescott, Arizona, with her husband and southern squirrel hunter Cassie.
When she's not writing, she's usually reading, hanging out with her dog, or watching the Food Network and imagining she's an awesome cook. (Spoiler alert, she's not. Luckily for the whole family, Mr. PW is in charge of the cooking.)
I really wanted to like this one more than I did, but it's more a matter of YVMV, and just because this was not a book for me, doesn't mean you won't like it. This book is perfect for those who love Kiersten Modglin and her wild twists, because it definitely has some wild twists!
Janey's sister Kelly ran off eight years before, and she had long thought that she would never hear from her again. She receives a letter from her sister, mangled by the post office machinery, but indicating that she is in a small town fairly close by. But when Janey looks for Kelly, she realizes that Kelly, going by the name of Ashley and working as a nanny, has disappeared again. So Janey decides to become a nanny for the family to see if she can find any clue as to what happened to her sister.
To start with, Janey is a wholly unlikable character. She is unhinged and ultra paranoid, and she kept referring to Julia (the kids' mom) as "her family." As in "How dare she say this about my family!" when someone said something bad about Julia, and sabotaging the next nanny's job because Janey belonged there as "part of the family." Despite the fact that she barely knew these people, and she leaves her college studies right in the middle in order to become an overworked nanny for reasons I could not figure out.
I listened to this as an audiobook and I definitely give one full star for January LaVoy's amazing narration. She is a phenomenal narrator even when the book ventures into bizarre territory.
There are some side storylines that really added nothing to the plot, they basically went nowhere. While I appreciated that the twists came out of nowhere and were a surprise, they really didn't fit with the rest of the plot leading up to them. To me, they seemed to come out of left field and didn't make a lot of sense.
Again, this book will have a lot of appeal for the right reader. I highly recommend the audiobook because it gives life to the story.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book, all opinions are my own.
Janey has not seen or heard from her sister, Kelly, who ran away from home eight years ago. Unfortunately, before she can contact her sister, Kelly disappears again. Janey is not going to let this go. She decides to find her sister the last place she was seen - in Redemption Wisconsin. Her sister worked there as a Nanny and Janey is determined to work for the same family in the hopes of finding clues. But they family has a nanny who the family and kids seem to enjoy. Janey is not going to let that get in the way, where there is a will there is a way!
Not everything or everyone is as they seem in this book. Everyone has secrets. As Janey begins to look for clues, she learns that this family, "her family", has secrets. But so does she!
This book kept me on my toes as something wasn't quite right. Janey is all over the place with her feelings, thoughts, and emotions. She is determined to not only find her sister or at least clues to why she left, but she is also going to take care of "her family".
This was a wild ride and I kept trying to figure out where this book was going to go and how it was going to get there. I like books that keep me wondering, while trying to figure out just what the heck is going on. Just when I thought I had things, figured out, there was twist that let me know, I wasn't quite right but I wasn't quite wrong either.
I listened to the audiobook and enjoyed the fantastic narrator.
This was a twist and secret-filled psychological thriller which not only kept my interest but had me wondering how things were going to play out.
3.5 stars
I received a copy of the audiobook from the author and publisher in exchange for an honest review. All the thoughts and opinions are my own.
Wow, this book was so good! Janey was such a complex character and is definitely more than she seems. The twists at the end really shocked me! I look forward to reading other books in The Redemption series. Very well done!
One more time, I'm on the other side of all the 5 star reviews. This book was dreadful! It made no sense, leapt from one thing to another, the characters were unrelatable, awful, and not fleshed out. Why did the author mention Amanda and then leave the reader with no idea why? For a few moments, it seemed she'd be an interesting character, but no, just another what??? I'm cursed with the need to know how a book ends, so slogged through until the end, but it was with a sense of relief that I turned the last page. Completely unbelievable. I knew by the second chapter who the antagonist would be; it took forever to "expose" her. The entire plot was so unhinged. It moved from one thing to another without reason, without sense. I'm still not sure what Julia's deal was and why Porter was even introduced. The explanation was weird and crammed into a few pages after a few hundred pages of Janey's repetitive paranoia and, might I mention, her "brilliance." After the first mention of the cameras, my thought was "this is nonsense." Enough; without risking spoilers, I do not understand the five-stars. Just don't get it.
OMG! Michele is a brand new author to me and my goodness, can this author spin an exceptional tale. I'm always a bit dubious when books are touted as twisted psychological thrillers with a nail-biting twist but... this one truly is a real humdinger of a read.
It follows Janey's story, when she was in her teens, her sister Kelly disappeared. Where did she go? Did something happened to her or did she merely run away?
Out of the blue, Janey receives a letter stating that Kelly is fine but then before Janey has the chance to track her down, Kelly disappears again. I really don't want to say more as it will spoil it for others. Needless to say I loved the way this was written and the characters are very well drawn. I highly recommend this for those who love psychological thrillers with a good twist.
“Watch your back. Keep your eyes open. And be careful who you trust. It was exhausting, pretending everything was normal. Even though I knew I couldn’t drop my guard for even a moment…”
WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!! I really am having trouble finding the words to do this book the justice it deserves. This was such a brilliant, twisty, and unpredictable read that I really couldn’t put down till I had read every single last word! Those last few chapters- OMG!!! I did not see that coming, that’s for sure. So well done!! Highly recommended!!! Must read!!! The Third Nanny by Michele Pariza Wacek intrigued me from the moment I laid eyes on it. I quickly snapped up a copy and dove in as psychological thrillers are my favourite genre of all- and this one promised to be great. As this was my first read from Michele PW, I really didn’t know what to expect going in- but I am soooo happy that I found her, finally- I really don’t know why I haven’t come across her work before now as she has quite a few books to her name- but all is right in the world because now I have a new author to add to my ‘must read’ list. The most exciting thing is that she has so many more books for me to buy and devour!! I love that feeling of discovery! The thrill of knowing that you are about to go on an epic book binge with an author you know won’t disappoint and one who I know I will love whatever it is she chooses to write. For this little ol’ book worm, there is nothing better! From the moment I opened this book, the intrigue began. Janey receives a letter form her sister who has been missing for eight years. Eight years of not knowing what happened to her. Eight years of wondering why she left. Eight years of not knowing if she was even alive still. Then the letter arrives, and that in itself is a bit of a puzzle- the letter is somewhat disturbing, speaking of danger, and begging for help- but is it already too late? Janey is now desperate to find her sister. And so this amazing puzzle begins. Janey embarks on her quest that will see her unravelling the mystery of her sister’s disappearance, the secrets and lies that she will have to unwind in order to find the truth. Her journey of discovery had me on the edge of my seat the whole way along- trying to piece everything together before the final reveal. But the ‘big reveal’ left me reeling- I didn’t expect that at all. So well done!!! The last few chapters were intense!!! This is a gripping psychological thriller, with a stalker, twists and turns, layers, suspense, palpable tension, danger, an unpredictable storyline, secrets, lies, obsession, paranoia, trauma, investigation, emotion, and a quest for answers. There are flashbacks to past events that really help to build the backstory and also adds to the tension of the story. Things are definitely not what they seem on the surface. Michele PW certainly knows how to instil tension and a chilling, creepy factor to her storyline which made her book unputdownable! Can’t wait to explore the rest of her books. #MUSTREAD
This book was beyond amazing and I have no words to truly the describe the impact it gave upon my soul. It lured me in as if a child after a free toy. From there it bought my mind to its darkest corners and made me visualize and see things I never thought I could reach in limits of my mind. This was a psychological thriller that can not compare to my past readings. I can not describe how much I loved this, and yet, I wanted more at the end. I did not with any ounce of me want this novel to end! It was that good!
Reading at first we get our main character whom was named Janey getting a letter from no where from her sister, who everyone believed was out of the picture. But the letter doesn't seem to add up and Janey questioned everything and wanted the truth to what happened to her sister and why she disappeared. Why make contact now? When all whom cared of her thought she was gone forever?
Story unravels and her sister was a nanny for a family. So maybe the truth was within those walls/ At least that was the high suspicion Janey had. Could she be correct or never more right? But perhaps it was possible to dig too deep? Are some things left buried?
In those walls, came so much more than Janey ever bargained for. It left me more than convinced, shocked, fearful, and so many emotions. Nothing was what I expected. I never was ale to guess anything. And that is what I loved so much about this book!
The book was a fun puzzle, figure out what happened and case closed right? Wrong! The things Janey learns not only unravels but makes the true fear that creeps in your heart come alive and make you question everything you perhaps thought you knew?
There was clues as well as secrets that were best left undone. Janey showed strength that she loved her sister dearly and only wanted to bring her home and find out her side of the story of basically what went down. But the lines that cross for the truth are more than ever expected, and the suspense it brings alone is more than I think any of the characters or the readers ever saw coming.
Again I loved this book more than words I can every say or express. I live for a book that can make me question things and keep me so involved, to the point where I am up most shocked to how the story plays out. Plus, to add the characters were beyond perfect! The family that had Janey's sister for the nanny, let me say even I did not put two and two together. The author is extremely skilled and I am still in disbelief how things went about, it was like eating a good banana split, finish that last bite, but again you still year for more!
This was actually my first book by this author. It was so good and I truly regret not knowing more of this author till now! I happily will read all the books this author reads. Needless to say, this first book I have read by them, reached beyond and back of any expectations I might have made. As well as a made a first impression that can never be erased
Thank you to the author for this wonderful book and amazing story you brought to life!
The Third Nanny (Secrets of Redemption) by Michele PW (Pariza Wacek)
4 Stars
I have so many mixed feelings about this book. There were many times I could not put it down, then there were as many times I sat totally confused. I read it in 3 sittings and did think about it whenever I wasn't reading it and couldn't wait to get back to it. I did have a problem with the main character, I never connected to her and she had me all kinds of messed up with her change in personality, her change in her moods, and the thoughts she had throughout. I guess that's what makes this a twisted psychological thriller. It definitely met that mark for me. I never really formed any opinion about the ending and how it would all play out so it not being really jaw dropping for me at the end wasn't very surprising.
I did enjoy reading this story, the writing was awesome and did flow smoothly, I just felt at times like I was reading things that really didn't matter, but then at the end realized it all did.
I do highly recommend reading this story especially if you like this genre. Just know, it will all make sense at the end.
Janey is a young woman with a bright future, she is studying psychology and lives with her best friend in a shared apartment, all is going well in her life until one day when she receives a letter in the post, well, it used to be a letter, now it is just some fragments in a plastic bag from the post office with a note attached to it, it has been sent from a town called Redemption in Wisconsin. As she talks to her friend about it, she realises that she doesn’t know anyone in Redemption, however, she did spend summers there as a kid and she has no idea who it is from until she sees the signature at the bottom of a piece of the letter, it says “Kelly”.
This throws Janey into a state of panic as memories surface of a time eight years before when her sister went missing and abandoned her, as her friend gets her some water, Janey debates about what to tell her, eventually she settles on the truth and opens up about what happened and why is has affected her so much. As she talks, she realises that she wants nothing more than to find out why her sister left and why she has only reached out now, but she is also dealing with too many emotions to deal with it, so she avoids opening the letter for a couple of days. After she has had a couple of glasses of wine, together they put the letter together and read what has been saved and realising the urgency in the words, they decide on a plan and even though Janey wants nothing more than to set off to Redemption straight away, she also knows that they need to do some research before she does. It is at this point that they check out the address and the people who live there, this is where Janey finds a picture she swears is her sister, who is named as being their nanny and this convinces her that she needs to find her and that she is wasting time, so she sets off the next day to start putting the plan into action.
Janey starts by learning the routine of the household and determines how she can befriend the lady of the house so that she can find out more about her sister’s situation, over the following days she does just that and ends up managing to step into her sisters shoes as the third nanny. As she takes on the responsibilities associated with her new job while trying to juggle it with finding clues regarding her sisters whereabouts, she realises that things are not as they seem. Will Janey be able to figure out where her sister is, or will the household secrets take precedence and lead her investigations astray? This is a twisted and tangled web of secrets and lies which multiply leaving more questions than answers as this psychological thriller races along at breakneck speed while you hang on until the end.
The Third Nanny (Secrets of Redemption) by Michele PW (Pariza Wacek) 5 of 5 Stars I was gripped from page one by this suspenseful psychological thriller. This is a real page turner of a novel with a fast paced and intriguing storyline and great characters that I felt engaged with. Janey’s sister Kelly ran away from home eight years ago and has not been heard from since, until Janey receives a disturbing letter from her missing sister. Then Kelly disappears again but this time Janey decides to look for her sister herself starting with the only clue she has which is an address in Redemption, Wisconsin. Kelly had been working as a nanny and Janey decides to take the job. She soon discovers that the family have secrets and that the whole town of Redemption has a troubling past. Janey realises that she may have put herself in danger and that she might be the next to disappear. Nothing is as it seems in the town of Redemption and the same is true of this book, as the plot twists kept me guessing until the last page. The author managed to bring both the setting and the characters to life with her descriptive narrative and I felt immersed in the story. A chilling and creepy read and one which I definitely recommend.
I give The Third Nanny: A twisted psychological thriller with a jaw-dropping ending (Secrets of Redemption) by Michele PW (Pariza Wacek), 5 stars.
I have read books in the past that were supposed to be psychological thrillers and they were, well okay. This book labels itself as a twisted psychological thriller. I was skeptical that it would live up to it, but was still interested enough to see what this book had in store for me. Right off the bat, it's obvious that there is more going on than what meets the eye. The author has a brilliant way of slipping in more and more as the story goes on. You are left wondering what is really going on. There are so many angles here -- I thought I knew what was going on, but no. Insert evil laughter from the author here.
This book was brilliantly written with so many twists and turn, you are left with your head spinning. The story is so good and unique, the characters are precisely written with so many levels to them. You really are left with wondering just who to root for and what the story of the missing girl really is about. If you are a fan of this genre, I so highly recommend it.
The Third Nanny (Secrets of Redemption) by Michele PW (Pariza Wacek). OMG! This book was amazing. I love psychological thrillers so this was right up my alley but my lanta I had no clue what I was in for. I read this book in one sitting it was so good. Its the story of Janey who hasn't heard from her sister Kelly in 8 years and mysteriously receives a letter from her. Not hearing from Kelly all these years have left her wondering and hoping and now this letter is very disturbing talking about danger and begging for help. Well of course she sets out to find her and as she does she find out all kinds of secrets, lies and sadness. Its a twisty, dangerous, scary adventure and at times Janey is wondering if it worth all this. Will the fact that Kelly was a nanny for a family hold some information as to what happened. As Janey digs she begins to worrry for her own safety but is determined to find Kelly. Do yourself a favor and read this amazing book. I can't wait to find more books by this author!
This was a gripping psychological Thriller. I was hooked from beginning to end. The author does an amazing job at building the story in a way that when you think you have a handle on what's happening it twists again and keeps you guessing.
We start off meeting Janey. Janey has plenty of secrets in her family but the main one being the disappearance of her sister. No one knows what happened to Kelly, she just disappeared. That is until 8 years later when she writes to Janey. What is happening to her sister? Why did she disappear? Now Janey is on a mission to find her sister and the truth of what made her leave. Was it a stalker like she claimed or was it part of a breakdown?
Janey follows her sisters last known footsteps even taking her job as nanny to the Johnsons. However, things aren't what they seem and the Johnsons have secrets as well. Secrets which may explain her sisters desperate letter and which may also put Janey in danger.
If you like a book that is suspenseful and gripping this is definately a book to read. I can't recommend it enough
The Third Nanny by Michele Pariza Wacek introduces us to Janey, college student, future psychologist with no family left. Her parents are gone, and her only sibling, Kelly, disappeared 8 years ago. But one day, Janey receives a cryptic letter from Kelly-claiming she is in danger...and then, Kelly disappears again. Determined to not lose her again, Janey tracks down her previous employer and takes her job--as a nanny for Max and Julia. But things aren't always what the seem. The family has secrets--ones that might just make Janey disappear too!
Oh my gosh! This novel is a 5/5 stars. I wish I could rate it higher. The character building is great, Janey is a likeable protagonist, and the story flows really well. The ending was mind blowing--completely unexpected twists and turns! Just when you think everything has been revealed, there's more! A+ writing. I am so excited to read the other books in the Secrets of Redemption series! This book is a must read for any psychological thriller fans!
The Third Nanny by Michele Pariza Wacek is described in the description as a ‘Twisted Psychological Thriller, and I would say that this description is spot on!
After receiving a letter from her sister who disappeared years before, Janey sets out to discover what actually happened to her. Whilst retracing her sister's footsteps and taking a job as a nanny in the place she last knew her sister was working, Janey discovers new clues and unearths secret after secret. As expected, all is not as it seems.
For a psychological thriller, I found this book really easy to read. The story moves at a fast pace but is easy to keep up with, and there are lots of twists and turns along the way to keep you hooked. I spent the whole book thinking I knew how it would end...well, I may have changed my mind a few times! I was completely wrong though. If you like suspense and surprises, you will love this book.
This psychological thriller will keep you on your toes. When Janey is 14 her older sister disappears. She had sent a postcard stating that she was fine, but then went radio silent. Where did she go? What happened to her? After eight long years that silence is broken when she gets a mysterious letter. Janey is glad to hear that her sister is alive and well until she discovers that she has once again gone missing. Where has she gone this time? Janey decides that she needs to walk in her sisters shoes in order to try and get a better understanding of what may have gone on in her sisters head. Will it work or will she be left with more questions than answers? This book kept me turning the pages with all the twists and turns. I enjoyed following along on Janeys journey to find her sister. The ending was not something I had expected and my mind is still a little blown. I highly recommend this for those that love psychological thrillers with a good twist.
The Third Nanny Whoa! Hold up a minute. What just happened? Those statements and questions were exactly what I was saying throughout the book. Talk about a thriller, “thriller” puts it mildly in the aspect of keeping you on your edge if you’re a guesser so to speak. As a reader I like to guess the actions and the ending plot of books but Wacek kept me twisting in my chair so to speak. It isn’t a horror book, or terribly scary. It does have a creeper factor that raises hair on your neck when reading parts of “The Third Nanny”. This book called to me and called to me and didn’t lose my focus which is always a good sign of a good writer that knows how and when to capture it’s readers. I didn’t like the ending but that’s to everyone’s taste honestly, I mean if we didn’t like it then phooey on us, because it isn’t like we wrote the book its preference. The ending is great I just wanted more, I wanted to be left with more I crave more. I will be reading more from this author!
Well this definitely had an ending you won't figure out! This one takes place in Redemption, WI. If you have read any of the Redeption books, you will recognize this place!
Janey's parent were killed in a car accident and her sister, Kelly, well she hasn't heard from her since she left home over eight years ago. But, she just received a letter that the post office forwarded to her in a plastic bag. One of the letters that got delayed and torn up, so to read it, Janet had to piece it together. It was from her sister, Kelly, asking for help.
When Janey and her roommate start searching on line, they find a reference where Kelly was a nanny just months ago. But, there is also a post that says she is missing! Janey decides to go to Redemption and see what she can find out about Kelly and the family she was being a nanny for.
Now Janey has got the job of nanny for the family and she is finding that they have too many secrets!! Are they responsible for her missing sister? An ending that you might not figure out!!!!
The third nanny is my first book by this author but I cannot wait another second to dive into more! Janey is desperate to find out what might’ve happened to her sister who disappeared many years before. Julia and Max are in a bind and have quite the relationship with many layers, betrayal, and complications. While this story may seem clear-cut and you might think that you have it figured out I promise you will not be prepared for the end of this incredible story. If you are looking for a true psychological thriller that has twists and turns and will keep you on the edge of your seat this is the book that you want to pick up. The authors writing style is cryptic and unique. She pulls you in from so many directions that you can’t wait to see what’s on the next page. The author does an excellent job with the secondary characters and weaves a story that is truly beyond thrilling. I could easily see this book being made into a movie.
Michele P. W. spins a good yarn here. It is the tale of fractured families, parents absent physically and emotionally, and young people with complex emotional baggage. Even the most dedicated reader of suspense stories will have trouble figuring out the story’s conclusion. Michele tucks tantalizing and cunning hints to keep the plot moving along. Some hints turn out to be red herrings, while others are puzzlers. Their relevance to the story is only apparent at its dynamic conclusion. There Janey’s mind filters and arranges all the puzzlers and a few strands of reality for a somewhat unexpected conclusion. Unfortunately, for me, the plot’ middle felt like a loosely woven net, thus only four stars. This book was gifted to me by the author without expectation of a review.
Wow. This book will have you trying to sort through all the pieces up until the very end, with a major surprise ending. Janey enlists the help of her friend and roommate, Bryn, in trying to solve the mystery of her missing sister who disappeared years ago without a trace after receiving a letter two month's delayed by a postal service mishap that indicates Kelly is still alive and going by the name Ashley. Because the letter is ripped to pieces, the pair piece together enough information to determine where the letter originated. Janey's pursuit for the truth leads to her taking the job as a nanny to three children, where Ashley last worked, and uncovering even more mysteries as she tries to uncover the truth about her sister's original disappearance and what led to her most recent disappearing act. This kept me on the edge of my seat and puzzled through various twists and turns along the way; a real page-turner with a truly original storyline.
The Third Nanny (Secrets of Redemption) by Michele PW (Pariza Wacek) is the third installment in the series set in Redemption, Wisconsin, but it can completely be read as a stand-alone. It is the first book by this author I have read, and it did not take any enjoyment away from the experience. First of all, when the story is set in place called Redemption, you know the twists and turns are going to be epic. The town is described as someplace where “nothing is as it seems”, and that is not an understatement. This book kept me on my toes, and I never knew exactly where it was going. Janey takes you on a journey to find out what happened to her sister, Kelly, who had worked as a nanny in Redemption. She becomes a nanny to the same family to figure out as much of this story as she can. You will not want to stop reading until you reach the end. Read this book.
I enjoyed this suspenseful thriller. This is a well written story about a town that has a past and where things are not as they seem. I found this story to be fast paced which I had a hard time putting down. It is an engaging story that has twists and turns that kept me sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what would happen next. The characters are connectable and brought the story to life. For me they truly made the story what it is. Janey has a sister that ran away eight years ago, just when she thinks she finds her, she disappears again. This is where the story becomes a little twisted. Janey decides to walk in her sister’s footsteps. What will she find out as she does this? I really did enjoy this book and highly recommend it.
This is a very engrossing psychological thriller. Janey, in search of her long-lost sister, gets tangled up in the web of the Johnsons, the last family her sister worked for before disappearing. As she does her own investigative work to follow the threads to her sister, she becomes more tangled and enmeshed in the danger. This story definitely sends your mind reeling, casting about for answers as clues are steadily delivered. Janey's childhood memories come sifting in through the present, adding colour and depth to what is really going on here. This is very well-written, and the pace of the plot was great and kept tensions high without going overboard. The characters were nuanced and their personalities diverse. Couldn't put it down until I had read the final page.
In the small town of Redemption Wisconsin, there is something afoot. Like other small towns, there are secrets. Janey’s sister lives in Redemption Wisconsin as a nanny. When Janey finds her sister, she just loses her again. Will Janey’s sister find out what happens to her sister? This story has all the making of a good psychological thriller. It is a face-pace, twists, and turns, edge of the seat of my pants story. The characters are fully developed and complex-complicated. There are secrets in this small town that the town folk knows how to keep secrets of the town. Will the secrets be the downfall of Redemption? I highly recommend this book. Make sure when you settle down with this book make sure you have enough time to finish it.
Orphan Janey struggles emotionally when a letter shows up from her presumed dead sister. Lots of questions swirling in Janey's head. She makes it her mission to track her sister down. Her Sister Kelly aka "Ashley" had taken on a new identity in Redemption to shake a stalker. A stalker that no one has seen, and even her friends doubted her.
Janey found she had been working as a nanny before she mysteriously went missing, but the police had given up looking for her since there was no evidence to suggest foul play. Janey was not detoured, but what Janey didn't count on was finding a stalker of her own.
Can Janey get to the bottom of all this before something goes wrong?
The Third Nanny: A twisted psychological thriller with a jaw-dropping ending (Secrets of Redemption) by Michele Pariza Wacek. This crime story lives up to is name of twisted psychological thriller. I have not read anything by this author before and now I am wondering how I have never crossed her books. This captivating tale is taut with tension. Unexpected twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat. The suspense, the intrigue definitely kept me on my toes. The characters were well written and well developed. What is really going on in Redemption, Wisconsin? Grab a copy and find out, you know you want to……
