When desire and temptation collide, passion consumes.
Forced into an arranged marriage with a man even more dangerous than her father, Chiara Bertinelli is not having it. Nothing will keep her from freeing herself of the shackles of the mafia world. Not even the ruthless man who tries to sneak in her heart. And her bed.
Cato Moretti is the head of the Famiglia and a part of the trio ruling their dark and deadly syndicate. He’s ruthless, vicious, and he always gets what he wants. And he wants Chiara. But winning his wife over is harder than he expected. He’s patient and follows a strategy: make her see a life with him is better than the elusive chase of freedom. Yet, she's reluctant to give in.
She’s everything he's wanted in a woman. He’s everything she has been trying to escape. Their nights are filled with passion, their days are filled with plotting. All is fair in love and war.

I hated this book so much! Chiara is so childish and annoying!!! Cato did EVERYTHING for her and she never appreciated it! She came of as an spoiled brat!! I seriously don’t know what Cato saw in her because I wanted to kill her every fucking second!!! After 66% I just skimmed through the story because of how much I disliked the protagonist. Cato deserved better…
I'd give this 3.5 stars because although I loved Cato, I absolutely, absolutely hated Chiara. She kept on overacting and overreacting to everything that happened to her. Cato would have given her anything she wanted if she just told him, but she just kept on being dramatic and stupid throughout the book. I loved the first book in this series, but I already knew I wouldn't like Chiara. And I was right. She kept on assuming that she knew what she wanted, which was a very vague 'freedom,' but when she was planning on leaving Cato, she kept on thinking 'stop me' and other stupid things. Like, why the hell do you even want him to stop you if you keep on threatening to kill him or are planning on leaving him behind? What is wrong with you?
In spite of hating Chiara, I really enjoyed the rest of the book, even if it was just a second point of view from the other couple from the first book. I usually don't like reading books where each couple of the series is experiencing the same timeline, but this was enjoyable too.
Cato is fucking devoted to her from the beginning. The love he shows and gave her everything she wants. First I hated Chiara for what she did as I read the prev book and the toll it took on her. But later her grovelling is just top notch . YES SHE GROVELLED FOR HIM AFTER SHE HURT HIM.
I feel her after ,50% book understood her. When one feels the torment and hate , they tend to give other person the hate of it.
The book is a bit lengthy and skipped some in middle. The steamy scenes make up for it.ALL 3 of them together its sight for sore eyes now HAYDEN Included😍
Tropes: Enemies to lovers Arranged marriage He is obsessed Virgin fmc No ow/no cheating
Enemies to Lovers, He Falls First, Jealous Possessive H. Chiara is everything Cato wants in a woman, feisty, strong-spirited, gutsy, and has a temper. Cato is everything she has been trying to escape. There is a hell lot of pushing away from the heroine, The hero is very dedicated towards the heroine. The scenes are pretty steamy!!!
Loved the hero's friends group. They were so fun. It was a long book, I skipped the last few chapters, there was no plot really. It was an okish read.
❌ SAFETY ❌ no cheating, no OW drama, virgin h, celibate H since he saw her one or two years ago.
Part of the Syndicate of Sinners each can be read as a standalone with a sexy, overprotective and the women who captures his heart. So, hang on and double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love (ALL THINGS TO EXPECT FROM THE MAFIA WORLD). By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter! CAN’T SAY YOU WEREN’T WARNED!!!!! Cato sexy as all get out head of the family, usually gets what/who he wants ruthless on most days, deadly if provoked, and has his sights set on a certain Mafia princess but he has to first get her to acknowledge him or at least stop hating him. Chiara is a bad a** she knows she has to play her part, but she isn’t going to play nice though or make it easy for him at the dinner she actually walks down the hall way with a knife taped to her thigh and of course she isn’t shy about telling how she dislikes him all she has dreamed of is freedom marrying him isn’t going to get her the freedom she seeks. The attraction is instant, it is intense, and the magnetic pull can’t be ignored they say there is a thin line between love and hate boy do you see it with these two. The back and forth between them will have you rushing to turn the next page he was amazed with her because she stood her ground with him never fearing him and he was determined to show her that she can have a normal life allowing her the freedom she wants so badly keeping him on his toes, alert but is it enough for her to trust him to protect her, is the heat between them enough for her to see he is worth the chance, can she live without him although she tells herself she can, he isn’t going to let her go but can she accept that, and can he ensure she have the happiness she longs for?.

Sinner’s Perdition, book two in the Syndicate of Sinners series, moves on to Chiara Bertinelli story, home on a permanent basis ready to become Cato Moretti’s wife. Weell… ready might not be the correct word. 🤣
Honestly, I totally love Chiara’s character; her strength and determination are so strong and powerful. She is ready to drop everything to help those she calls friends and has a quick wit too. Chiara is very different to Cato yet both discover so much more about each other that it helps to build their character profiles beautifully. Chiara describes their love story as “untypical” and this is the perfect way to clearly represent their relationship. There’s definitely nothing amiss with their physical relationship, it’s so hot I’m surprised they didn’t set fire to places.
I will admit I was a tiny bit irritated by the yo yoing of Chiara’s indecision, granted the physical part of her relationship with Cato does cause her some confusion, but it went on for quite a bit. It was interesting going over the same scenario in Florida but mainly from the women’s perspectives, giving new insights. It also renewed my thirst for Hayden and Alessandra’s story… I can’t wait for the next book.
In the background of the story, the mafia side becomes more dangerous and takes on a slightly more sinister and darker edge and it’s fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed this very entertaining story.
There isn't a Mafia book that I can pass out without reading. And if it's a book from one author that I enjoy and loved the first in the series, hell yeah...I will read it. Bianca Borell is not in my reading life for too long, but only one book was enough to make me want to read more. I adore Mafia books. Love alfa guys with a temper and ruthlessness as well as a woman feisty and stubborn, as she was able to provide it in only one book. And that was enough for me to want to read more. Her writing is raw, intense, hard, and dark with a touch of darkness. Sinner's Perdition is her latest release and it's the second book from the Syndicate of Sinners series and dayum...what a series. This book explores the lives of Chiara and Cato. Chiara just had enough. Being treated like a pawn at the hands of her father was horrible, but what made it worse, was being given to marry another mafia lord, more ruthless than her father. She just wants to escape that world and live her life but... Cato is the head of the Famiglia. he's deadly, ruthless, and always gets what he wants. And what he wants is his wife but... Guys, this book...dayum this book. Once I started to read it, it was impossible to stop. To much was happening. It was intense, it was raw, and it was a wild ride, to say the least. The characters worked perfectly for each other, despite all the ups and downs. I'm not gonna lie, there were parts of the book that I just wanted to get inside the book and shake some sense into one of the characters... Jesus, stubborn much??? I adore a man as powerful as Cato and I wouldn't mind a spanking...lol This book is full of all the stuff that makes a story a great one. There is love and hate, push and pull, crime, betrayal, punishment, and hot stuff... lord have mercy. I'm addicted to this series and I can't wait for the next book. Another amazing book Bianca. Loved it. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Intense and spicy second book in the Syndicate of Sinner's series. Cato chose Chiara to be his wife, to unite their two mafia families, and to rule both the families and the Syndicate with an iron fist. But Chiara is stubbornly resistant to the idea, terrified that she'll be trapped in a violent and evil life that she wants nothing to do with. She sees Cato as nothing more than a monster and fights Cato and their marriage to the point of putting everyone in danger . After seeing how far she's willing to go when a disastrous escape attempt almost kills his best friend's wife, he caves and starts putting together a divorce, being so sweet and cute and giving her literally everything she needs to be happy. The one thing that pushed Cato to his breaking point is the thing that pushed Chiara to see that she's been lying to herself about how much she loves him and how willing she is to be with him, monster and all. I'll be totally honest, I loved Cato right from the start, he's ruthless, sexy, and domineering in all the right bad boy ways. And completely in love with Chiara. All the things that her father hated about her, stubbornness, spontaneity, creativity, and her smart mouth, are the things that keep Cato wrapped around her finger. Chiara on the other hand, it took about a little over halfway through to really start loving her. It was easy to completely understand why she wanted to escape, and I even could cheer her on through it, but she made some really selfish decisions that rubbed me wrong. Everyone around her was so willing to risk their lives for her, for their cause, to keep people safe, and she was willing to risk them to get what she wanted. After she almost loses it all and finally admits her own real fears, that's when you love and appreciate the strong woman she is. So have patience with her and you'll end up loving her too. The book overall is a great second book in the series and I'm looking forward to the next one.
Cato and Chiara’s story is one that is intense and full of many ups, downs, twists, and turns. In book one when we met Chiara as Aurora’s friend, we knew she was always up to something and causing trouble, so in this book we get to see things from her point of view. Chiara is in utter denial about her feelings towards Cato while he is absolutely in love with her from day one. Chiara refuses to be held back, bound by duty in the world were men rule and she has no freedom, but she isn’t prepared for her feelings towards Cato to change so drastically and this causes problems when she does what she does. I won’t lie Chiara was a tough character to like from book one and the majority of this one simply because she behaved immature a lot and kept wanting to run from a man that has only shown her love and adoration. When she does run it almost ruins everything and I wanted Cato to be done with her, but she did redeem herself towards the end. It takes some time, but Chiara does show some maturity and growth when she realizes what we have seen all this time and that’s her love for Cato. Cato was an amazing character full of strength, loyalty, and love. He would do anything for Chiara and all he really wanted was for her to love him in return. When things get rough Cato tries to do what is best for Chiara and let her go so, she can have the precious freedom she craves because of her need for it she put so many others in danger. Cato had the patience of a saint while dealing with her and I adored his character even more because of how hard he loved her even when she pushed him away. Overall, this book was intense and kept me glued to my seat wanting to know what would happen next and wondering if Chiara would ever reciprocate his feelings. The other characters are just as amazing, and I can’t wait to get more from them.

I was intrigued by Cato and Chiara ever since I read Sinner’s Obsession, the first book in the Syndicate of Sinners series and Sinner’s Perdition runs concurrent with that book, telling some of the story from their perspective. Together they are like dynamite, their relationship is so intense and passionate despite Chiara’s desire to kill him. Cato has been obsessed with her since he first laid eyes on her and see as he’s the head of the Famiglia as well as a member of the the Syndicate who’s going to stand in his way when he determines that the Mafia princess will be his queen? Chiara that’s who! All she wants is the freedom of living a normal life but Cato is stubborn and uses everything at his disposal to persuade his stubborn wife even sizzling seduction
This book covers several of my favourite tropes including forced marriage, enemies to lovers, and mafia making for a seriously hot, dark romance. With a dark, blood thirsty and obsessive anti-hero in Cato and a feisty if at times annoying heroine in Chiara I was hooked. Bianca Borell you write sex scenes that make me blush. I loved the plot full of twists and turns but this book has left me intrigued for more in a couple of ways. Firstly Hunter and Alexandra’s story and but also Enzo and the assassin. Now that’s a tale I’m interested in reading. The one niggle I had with this book and it’s a really stupid one but it’s the name Cato, sorry but that name will always make me think of Inspector Clouseau!!!
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
Chiara has been forced into an arranged marriage. He is even worse than her father and trust me she has a horrible father. However she wants nothing to do with any of it. She is not a woman who is going to just stay shackled in the mafia world. That is never what she wanted for her life. Cato is the head of the Famiglia. He is part of a trio ruling their dark and deadly syndicate. He is ruthless, vicious and always gets what he wants. He has never wanted like he wants Chiara but knows that winning over his wife is going to be much harder than he ever expected it to be. He is patient when he needs to be and does everything in his power to make her see that a life with him is better than her desire to chase freedom. It's never going to happen. However she is not one to be told what to do and when she wants something she really wants it. She is all he has ever wanted in a woman while she is everything he is trying to escape. They spend their nights with a whole lot of passion and their days plotting. All is fair in love and war but what happens when the wife wants her freedom more than anything? Well you have to read and find out. I really loved these characters. They are pure fire together and their relationship is really intense. It is a story of a woman who wants her freedom. Her shot at living a life like a normal human being and not a mafia princess. But, he wants nothing more than for her to be his Queen.
This is book 2 in the Syndicate of Sinners series, and it can be read as a standalone. I would recommend reading book 1 first, Sinner's Obsession (Aurora and Kieran's story), because things happen in that book that are connected to things that happened in this book.
I love, love, love the crazy chemistry between Cato and Chiara. It's off the mf charts. The underlining current in every heated interaction is combustible. The tropes in the books do justice ✅Arrange Marriage ✅Enemies to Lovers ✅He Falls First ✅Jealous Possessive H ✅Secret Pinning
Chiara hates everything the mafia stands for and wants nothing to do with the monsters in that world. She is being forced to marry Cato, and he will rule both mafia families. Cato is also heading the syndicate, and he's as ruthless and vicious as they come.
Chiara is everything Cato wants in a woman, feisty, strong-spirited, gutsy and has a temper. For every time you try to kill or leave me, I will demand something. If I were you, I would be careful. In our world, I rule, and that includes you
Cato is everything she has been trying to escape. You will be mine . You will surrender to this monster. And, cara, I’ll make you love every minute
I enjoyed the back-and-forth between this volcanic couple, and Chiara's willingness to not succumb to her situation. I will admit, at times, it became annoying and I wanted her to give in and accept the marriage. I liked Cato more than Chiara. He wasn't a bully, abusive or forceful and encouraged Chiara's brattiness.
I thoroughly enjoyed the previous books but this one had me flummoxed. I seriously felt it was the work of 2 very different writers.
It began swimmingly - albeit we know the formula. Forced marriage, mafia, unwilling and feisty heroine, etc etc - however when written well these tropes hit the spot.
Here we have Cato - oh you poor man - the head of mafia and his syndicate triumvirate .
In the words of Brian Ferry, Cato really is a 'Slave to Love' although why isn't clear as he is infatuated with the highly annoying heroine Chiara. Oh lord does she grate! Her endless whinging and flip flopping is tedious in the extreme.
What disappointed me though is how almost EXACTLY like the last book this one is. The same protagonists cause trouble around 2/3 of the way through and it felt so much like deja vu I almost lost patience.
There are parts of this, most specifically, up to 40% of the book, beautifully written but then it becomes weirdly choppy. Producing a series of statements rather than working as a flowing narrative.
There is also yet another farcical rescue scenario (I was willing to forgive it in the last book but really? Again?) that made me chase the end.
I like this author, I really do, another would have had trouble scraping 2 stars but this one isn't for me. If you write a series please don't reproduce with name changes. You're better than that.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Umm... Hmm... Please don't waste your time reading my review and just grab the book. I just lost my heart and soul to this whole book. Damn... The author just did an amazing work with portraying the characters wonderfully. I didn't find a flaw in this book.
Cato - This man is truly someone I wanna live with. Jokes apart but yes I am sure I won't lose him for a stupid freedom 😂 Dang! He indeed tried his best to be a lesser of a monster to his girl and all I could do was try to control myself from drooling.
Chiara - Somewhere I was wishing to meet a rebel female like her in the Mafia World. Yes! She patiently walks with a smile, hand in hand with her husband into a hall in which her parents and in laws are there with a knife stuck on her thighs. Argh.... The way tackles Cato is beyond amazing to read.
The heat and passion is mind-blowing between the couple and that is something which makes the enemies to lovers trope even better.
In the end after a long time I felt like reading a book that touched my heart and made me feel every second between the main leads.
Don't miss this perfect Mafia Romance and regret later.
Lots and lots of Thanks for the ARC @bianca.borell and @booksprout I'm so glad I got a chance to meet Cato at the earliest. I think I did enjoy seeing Kieran apology in end too 😉
I've been looking forward to Cato and Chiara's story ever since the first book Sinner's Obsession in which they featured.
Now these two are explosive together and I mean 🧨 honestly the chemistry is hot and their relationship is so intense and so much passion it jumps off the page at you. Cato has been obsessed with Chi for a long time well ever since he laid eyes on her he knew he had to have her as his wife. Chi just wants a normal life but.......she had no idea of what's in-store for her she is one stubborn woman but that just made me love her even more that she didn't just lie down and take it, she stood up to Cato and you could see his frustration steaming from his ears while trying to deal with Syndicate issues and having to deal with a bratty wife lol.
This has definitely been one of my favourite series so far as it has all my fav tropes such as enemies to lovers, mafia, forced marriage and it's definitely dark dark romance. Cato is lush!!!! He's so obsessive and anti hero it makes you fall in love with him even more as the story goes along, Chiara is a brat, stubborn and feisty but boy does she know how to keep Cato on his toes. There are twists and turns a plenty here, the sex is 🥵 and I honestly can't wait to read more from these characters.
This dark mafia romance is brimming with action, angst, and sinful steamy moments with an enemies-to-lovers vibe. Cato Moretti is a wealthy, powerful, and dangerous mafia boss with his sights set on a specific mafia princess. Chiara Bertinelli is a firecracker determined to release the shackles of mafia life and reach coveted freedom. Cato is drawn to Chiara’s fiery spirit and loves the chase. He wants her and Mr. Moretti always gets what he wants.
Cato is a swoon-worthy mafia man. He’s vicious and lethal but he’s a big ole’ softie for Chiara. I absolutely adore him! He was so patient with Chiara and genuinely loved her. He doled out punishments but they weren’t extreme. Chiara was a likable heroine, but I did think she was a total brat. I wanted to shake her a few times and tell her to wake up — her husband has given her more freedom than she could ever have on her own.
This is a new-to-me author and I am so excited to read some of her other books! I LOVED this one!
This book is interconnected with the first book in the series Sinner's Obsession. I HIGHLY recommend reading that book before reading this one....
What can I say about this emotional roller coaster of a read. Chiara and Cato are the epitome of ying and yang. The saying there is a thin line between love and hate really applies for these two. Their road is full of twist, turns, and a few huge pot holes they need to maneuver around. When Cato lays eyes on Chiara he manipulates the situation to make sure she becomes his. Chiara only wants one thing in life and will do whatever it takes to get it. The problem is along the way secrets come to light, deception comes out to play, and the secrets well they are a little bit explosive. The push pull these two is liable to drive you crazy, but trust me it is so worth it. We get to see each of these characters grow and become better people for it. This book is written fabulously and I devoured it rather quickly. My only issue with it is that it ended. I will say Cato is a little darker than Kieran, and I have a feeling each book our hero is going to get a bit darker and bit more deliciously twisted. Looking forward to the next in the series.
I've wrestled with the decision about how to rate this book, as the heroine really drove me crazy to be honest, but see, I'm usually loyal to the heroine to the extreme so when I figured out that Bianca Borell did something most authors can't do, choose the hero, I knew then I had to rate it all the stars. Chiara would do anything to get free of the mafia world as all she wanted is her freedom. Cato rigs it so she has to marry him, and despite the fact that this man is a powerful mafia man, he fell for his wife first, and would do anything for her. They have heat in spades that's for sure as the nights are all about super hot sexy times, but during the day, the plotting is never ending. He's doing his very best (why can't I meet a man like him) to show her how precious she is to him, but she's too blinded by what she wants. Now, I'm not saying I didn't love her spirit, because I did, but there came a time when her bid for freedom was reckless & unnecessary in my eyes. On top of all the intense angst with push & pull, the twists were coming in hot which is totally my happy place at the end of the day. Bianca Borell is simply amazing & highly addictive with her writing style, and I'll never get enough! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I loved Chiara and Cato's story. Even though Chiara was emotionally messed up, it was based on her truths and were expressed very realistically. The banter between Chiara and Cato was of a serious nature and I did feel bad for Chiara. The reasons she was the way she was was understandable. How she affected Cato was deadly serious. Poor Cato kept getting emotionally tossed back and forth by Chiara. Yet he still loved her. There was plenty of danger. Guns, bullets, enemies around every corner did not keep them apart. An excellent romance of three mafia kingpins and their love interests. On a side note I loved Aurora how she always stood by Chiara's side despite how Kieran felt. And I adored Chiara's nonna. Wise woman. An excellent read. I highly recommend it.

Wow oh wow!! I craved this book as soon as I finished the first and could not put it down!!! I thought about these characters for weeks, counting down the days until I could read this book!!! Incredibly addicting and can’t wait for even more!!!!
Chiara is something else and I actually disliked her so much in the first book and for quite a lot of this book too. I know she has reasons why she feels the way she does but it’s super annoying to have her go back and forth so much! I kept wanting to just slap her and say “dang it, just enjoy it!!”.
The pull that these two have was insanely sexy! Cato was very intimidating in the first book but reading his side of his story made me melt for him! Cato is the one for me!! I loved how much he worshipped Chiara and tried to make her see reason!!
So many moment I cried but lots of yelling at each of them in my head too! I felt so wound up toward the end that I was waiting for that shoe to drop!! I loved Cato so much and can’t wait to see who is next and also watch their love story grow!!
*ARC Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Genre: Mafia Spice: 🥵yes Series: Syndicate of Sin, book 2
Thoughts - You need to read book 1. The first 70% follows the same events/ time frame that happen in book 1, however it follows Chiara (MFC) and Cato (MFC) and wow is it emotional. The pain they both have to go through to get to their HEA is intense. if you enjoyed book 1 you will enjoy this perspective of events. The last 30% I loved the continuation of everything and the passion they develop for each other.
Plot - Cato has had his eye on Chiara for a long time, he’s organised their marriage and is ready to make a life with her as his queen. That’s it right, she’s going to love the life he’s forcing her into right, because he wants it… wrong.
* Praise kink * Knife play * Tormented love * Forced marriage * Found family
“You are expendable, so keep that shit up if you want to die. You’re my pawns; she’ll be my queen.”
“Good girl, look at you taking all my cock.” “Oh God, you’re so big. It feels so good.”
She was to wed a man more brutal then her father, that was the only way she knew he would pick the head of the Crime families. Chiara wanted freedom, wanted to escape the life she was born, not swap one prison for another. Cato was taken with her the first time he saw her, instant love on his part and he would do anything to make her want to stay. She agreed to the marriage planning to leave and never come back but when she takes the chance to do just that she realizes she cant leave him. She is as much in love with him as he is with her. He will do anything to keep her safe even if it means sacrificing his heart. They come to except that they are to in love to be without each other and she embraces her life. The emotional rollercoaster that this one sends you on is amazing. We all know we weren't happy with Chiara in the beginning and were yelling at her to accept the feeling she had for Cato. I absolutely swooned with how Cato cared for her it was amazing to see someone portrayed as the most powerful man cave to a woman and worship her.
Chiara and Cato intrigued me from the first book and it was so exciting to read about their angsty push and pull love story.
Chiara was a firecracker and a whole lot of stubborn. She just wanted love and attention of her family and that made her rebellious. I really liked her character development but sometimes she could be a tad bit annoying and a little too selfish. Cato was so so in love and obsessed with his girl. I am in awe of this man. He never gave up fighting for his wife and I love this man so much. He's a ruthless killer but for his girl he is the softest man. Also, godd his dirty mouth. Both of them had a totally explosive chemistry and the smut was so hot!! The later domestic scenes were so swoony.
This book followed scenes from the first one and I would have liked to see something new about Chiara and Cato and not just their pov from the first book. However it was very entertaining and I couldn't put it down for a minute.
Also, just give me Cameron's book already. I absolutely cannot wait to read about him.
So first of all, thank you Bianca Borell for the ARC and to answer to my messages ;-) I really love that I could speak with you about your books !
So my heart belongs to Cameron but Cato is a great one too. But my love for Cameron is so much stronger.
I got this book Thursday morning and I couldn't put it down, I needed to know more every page. The bad thing about this book, it's that I had to go to class but I keep reading. I read this book in four or fiver ours (sorry Bianca Borell to have read your book so fast).
Cato is an alpha male and he knows what he wants. He wants Chiara, he will do everything to have her. He doesn't take no for answer. The problem is that Chiara really loves to say no to him. Her, she wants to be free and does what she wants. Sometimes, I wanted to slap them because they love each other but they are a little bit blind whit the past or the action of the other.
I enjoyed reading passages that already happened in volume 1, through the eyes of Chiara and Cato.
This series is really good. The characters are everything, I love. I'm curious to know what will happen between Alessandra and Hayden. I also want to know the story of Cameron and we don't know who for now. (I had dream about Cameron and Gianna, my bad Bianca Borell).
I might have gone back to kindle half way in🥰and OMG! If having fictional boyfriends was a crime…lock me up cauz i be changing them all the damn time🫣
CATO has set the standards too high!!
He’s A scary leader of a deadly syndicate which he runs with two of his bestfriends but he’s also a softie head over heels obsessed guy for a girl that he has an arranged marriage with!
I mostly loved it cauz it has an epic storyline with some of my favourite tropes; Arranged marriage, enemies to lovers, mafia gangs, possesive Mmc, He falls first and lotsa lotsa well written breathtaking 🥵🥵🥵🥵I love the friendship between the characters; how the story progressively grew…it felt realistic to me how Chiara didn’t just give up running away just because she felt she had fallen inlove and how patient Cato was with her the whole time until it was her turn to do the same 🥰
Ho-lay Crow! I loved Aurora and Kieran’s story, but I think I love Cato and Chiara’s even more! The tension, the banter, the push, the pull, the fucking!…PERFECT!
Chiara doesn’t know what’s good for her but Cato is determined to show her even if it kills him. She only wants her freedom, he only wants her.
This story was amazing! Cato is King of the World. Chiara was born to a life she despises. Bianca, you made me cry…AGAIN! No spoilers here but let me just tell you, Miss Bianca really makes you feel like you’re there and part of these characters lives with her writing. God! I thought I might die waiting to know how it turned out. This series just keeps getting better and better. I strongly suggest you start with Sinner’s Obsession, but I highly recommend this series for all who love Mafia Romance and dark reads.
This is Cato and Chiara’s story and it's quite a ride so strap yourself in and get ready for Chiara's sass, Cato's dominance, twists and turns. Chiara is trying to deny her feelings for Cato, going from an extreme of causing him as much grief as she can to feeling consumed by her attraction to the man she will marry - the duty of being born into a Mafia family. Cato is in love with Chiara and has been since he first layed eyes on her so to be told he will marry her to bring the two mafia families together he is more than happy (although he will not let his feelings be known). Chiara struggles with having no voice in what becomes of her life, she is one sassy girl that refuses to be told.... period. Brilliant read, i loved every minute of Chiara and Cato's story.
