Summer never wanted much, and she always loved her hometown, her friends, and her family. She’s content to make ends meet as a waitress, volunteer at the local humane society, and spoil her dog (who happens to be named Baby). The only thing that really gives her anxiety is Baby getting into mischief and this stupid pact she made with her friends to find a date for a wedding. When Baby gets loose, however, she leads Summer to Xavier – a businessman stranded in the small town of Pine Ridge. On his way to a business trip, traveling over the backroads, romance is the last thing on his mind. When he wrecks his car in the tiny town of Pine Ridge, however, he’s surprised when the first one on the scene is a lost dog. When he returns the dog, he meets Summer, and his heart leaps.
Summer and her dog Baby were happy with the normal day to day of survival, until one day when Baby was spooked and bolted away from her in the fog. Xavier had a run in with a deer and while he waited for a tow truck, Baby surprised him and calmed him. Then they met to exchange Baby and their lives would never be the same. Loved the characters, their backstories and their opening up to each other. The storyline makes you feel like a part of the small town, with all the comfort of everyone knowing you. Very nice addition to the series.

This quick read is another addition in the Pine Ridge Chronicals which is a small town romance between Summer, who needs a date for her friend’s wedding, and Xavier, a businessman traveling through her town until he has a car wreck and accidentally meets Summer when he finds her dog. They experience instalove as soon as they meet one another. Their story has wonderful characters, a matchmaking dog, an enjoyable storyline, and great writing.

Summer and Xavier meet after he has an accident and her lost "Baby" runs into him and he returns her dog . It's a very fast paced story with them coming together very quickly. I enjoyed the story but it felt too rushed compared to the other stories. Summer does get her date for the wedding though.

Another great book in the Pine Ridge Series. You'll enjoy Xavier and Summer's story. Fate brings them together when he wrecks his car while traveling through her small town. The first person on the scene of his accident is Summer's dog. Then Summer and it's insta attraction, and she has her wedding date. The book was well written, but to be honest, this is my least favorite of the series. I read a free advance copy via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review it.
The fourth book in the Pine Ridge Series. This story just seems like it was over before it even began. The writing was well done, but I really did not get any real feels for this story. Maybe it is part of another book that is coming? I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
First, what a beautiful cover! I think Summer is my favorite character from this series. I loved her laid back personality and her fur baby, Baby. This was a fun storyline with wonderful characters, sweet romance and a lighthearted fast read. Just a delightful book and a wonderful addition to the series.

Summer by Zoe Adams is a good, and enjoyable sweet small town romance read. The story has a good fun story line. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry. This is Summer and Xavier's story with fate brings them together.

I like the small town setting for most romances. And the unexpected meeting between the characters and the instant attractions that they feel. But it seems like they always try to fight it. Makes for entertaining reading.

Summer and Xavier's tale is a fast read of fate bringing these two together when her dog runs away after being spook only to find him after he is in an accident. This sweet story of love is a good escape for an afternoon.

Summer is quite happy with her life and especially with her dog Baby. Xavier is on a business trip when he decides to stop in Pine Ridge. Something calls him to do so. Summer and Xavier meet because of Baby and that changes their lives forever. Short, sweet and an easy read story. This is the fourth book in the Pine Ridge Series My least favourite. Too ‘wham bam’ for me. Zoe’s descriptive writing of the surroundings & people is still good. I received an Advanced Reader Copy from Booksprout & I am writing a voluntary honest review.
Another great book in this wonderful series about Pine Ridge, in this one we follow Summer and her loveable dog Baby. Baby brings Xavier and Summer together, which neither of them are looking for.

Zoe Adams is an audacious author exploring the layered ups and downs of love. A passionate writer, she draws her inspiration from a variety of sources. Her admiration for romance books, her understanding of human character, and her observing eye for exciting scenarios are a few of them. But above all, her greatest writing gift is her bold, unapologetic love for love itself.
“I think meeting you has been pretty great.”
Summer is happy with the life she has/ she works enough to get by comfortably, and she can volunteer for things that bring her happiness. She is also able to spend time with her dog, Baby. When Xavier gets stranded in Pine Ridge, the last thing Summer expected was a Love connection.
I liked how chill Summer is. She is comfortable in her skin and with her choices. I also liked how open to new things she was when the opportunity arose.
I am getting excited about the wedding and seeing where each couple is on their journey together. I like how the story flows and how light and cheerful each novella is.
