I write books in many sub-genres of Science Fiction and Fantasy, including post-apocalyptic, military science fiction, epic fantasy, and horror. I'm influenced by authors such as Stephen King, George R. R. Martin, Anne Rice, J.K. Rowling, Mark Lawrence, Dan Simmons, Robin Hobb, Robert McCammon, Larry Correia, and Mike Kraus.
I love all kinds of movies and shows from Battle Star Galactica (reboot) to the Walking Dead. There's nothing I won't try.
I grew up in Kentucky in a small suburb just south of Cincinnati, Ohio, listening to hard rock and playing outdoors. In those quiet 1970's streets, I jumped bikes, played Nerf football, and came away with many scars.
My grandfather and many of my uncles and cousins served in the United States Military, and my father was a Kentucky State Trooper. Their efforts taught me the meaning of sacrifice and gratitude. I've always had an avid curiosity about the world around me, and I hope my enthusiasm for life carries over into my stories, even the dark ones.

Audible--I love it when they put a whole series in as one credit. I've read several apolocalyptic series--I think I liked this one the best.
The authors explore what might happen if a foreign nation were to exploit one of the most dangerous weather seasons of the year, using it to slip into the country unnoticed and cause exponentially greater damage, all without us knowing.
Jake and His wife Sara through each of their individual efforts to protect others and their family. At first the enemy is not clearly defined. Eventually they find they are up against “The Block” Terrorists from many nations who are attempting to bring down the USA by attacking infrastructure and creating terror. They work with the military and homegrown groups to defeat theses terrorists.
The authors explore what might happen if a foreign nation were to exploit one of the most dangerous weather seasons of the year, using it to slip into the country unnoticed and cause exponentially greater damage, all without us knowing.

Weather and it's affect on the apocalypse.
I've read several of Mike Kraus's series and have liked them all. This one had a different premise, as extreme weather conditions left the country vulnerable to the attack from foreign agents. Character development is one of Kraus's strong points. I just finished the series and I already feel the loss of some friends and neighbors. I'm still very emotional about the loss of one of the characters. Didn't think it was necessary. Really, really liked the series. Looking forward to another.

6 Books, EACH, more amazing than the last
This IS an amazing series. Once started I couldn't stop... Not even to review each fantastic book! I thought I will tell everyone to tell everyone How great these books are once they finish as well! Incredibly realistic. What's sad is...These events could very well occur anywhere in the USA.. enough said...

Wow... Great series
I read series with my Kindle unlimited subscription but I liked it so much I'll buy it because I really didn't want it to stop so I will read the story again. I have read other series by Kenny Soward and Mike Kraus and have found that when these writers get together they write great series. Have not been disappointed with any of the books they have written.,

Epic adventure!

I fell totally into this book! It really hooks you in, and the characters just grow better, and stronger,and more likable with each challenge. Treat yourself to this series!

Absolutely fabulous series. Found it hard to stop each night reading. Lots of action, suspense and surprises. Brilliant writers knowing how to entrance a reader. Can't wait to read more of their exciting books. Keep up the good work guys.

Coming together
This series of books was great. It was hard to put down. A heart warming and action packed. I recommend this to anyone that wants a strong bonding experience. I rarely give a five star rating but this series deserves it and more.

I couldn’t put it down
Whatever your apocalypse story is… this series has it all. I bought it because it was on sale and then it pulled me right in. Luckily I had a few days off of work.

great series
I enjoyed this series very much.. from the first to the last is was great. The storyline flowed well and there were no glaring errors. The characters were likeable (the good guys that is) and the ending a bit sad. I am sorry to be finished with it to be frank.

Magnificent!
That series From the very beginning flowed beautifully. It took me a while but I finally realized 1 of the main reasons I enjoyed this series so much was because there was no and I do mean no foul Language.

Krause never disappoints......
This is the 1st ser This is the 1st series Authored by mike that I have read. And I like Very much how Down to earth and human the characters are. I think this would be a great Series for someone just getting into the Survival type series

Lately, I have been having fun reading these kinds of books. This book however, kept me going. Not once wanting to put it down. It literally is the definition of a page turner. Well done!

Normally I like Kraus books. This one not as much. I dislike any book where a dog is killed just for the story. This dog didn't need to die for the book to end as it dud. So, very disappointed.

Loved this sequences of stories. Mike KRAUS is the best author.
