After a harrowing fall, Jane wakes up in Aldrick's castle with no memory of him or their past. Determined to win her heart again and help her remember, Aldrick takes care of Jane as she recovers, showing her around the castle and making romantic gestures. But Jane remains distant and confused, questioning her feelings for the monster she's been told about in stories. As Aldrick becomes increasingly frustrated, their relationship hangs in the balance. Will Jane fall in love with him again, or will she choose to leave the castle and forget their past forever?
I liked the first book - but this second book is very confusing - for some reason some of the characters have different names and the writing style changed completely. I kept on reading to see if it would be part of the plot but no. It’s a 360 from book 1 and not in a pleasant way.
I don't remember this book and the smut. 😭🌶️❌ I DNF at 80%
I really couldn't go on. This put me in a book slump coma 😭😭 Should've just finished all of it in the first book😭 The second was confusing and boring 😭😭
