As a lover of sci-fi romance and omegaverse I was so excited to see this new series. Matched was an exciting first book and set up an original new world of Alphas and Omegas. I had fun reading this book and can’t wait for the next book to come out!.

Matched is a sweet omegaverse, and it’s a fun, quick read. Ellie-Mae has grown up in the Badlands, one of the areas not under the alien Throkyn race’s rule. Because of that, she has a poor opinion of these aliens and their search for compatible human women. But when her father barters her off to a detestable man, even aliens look more appealing.
Austin has an interesting concept here, but it needs to be fleshed out more. The Throkyn are searching for omegas, and they test females who want to enter their territories for potential matches. I didn’t see any role for human men in this setup, which makes it understandable why men would hate the Throkyn, but it’s not built up enough in this book to make sense to me. Meanwhile, the aliens follow an Accord, and they’re sticklers for it, until it’s convenient for the plot that they bend the rules a bit. There was also a thread about missing ships that I truly didn’t understand and that didn’t seem to relate to the main plot at all.
Ellie-Mae is likable, and her alpha Kydax is a veritable saint, doing everything right to satisfy Ellie-Mae’s concerns and emotional states. Her path to accepting Kydax moves pretty quickly—it’s hard to resist a guy who does everything right—and the villains are coincidentally in the right place at the right time when the story needs a bit of tension.
So this was a nice, straightforward read that offers Austin a chance at creating an interesting omegaverse world. I’d read more in this series, and I sincerely hope she spends more time on the worldbuilding and creating some imperfect alien men to deepen this saga of human omegas and alien alphas.

Ellie-Mae has kept away from the colony that the Throkyn's built since they came to Earth three years ago. She doesn't want to become an Alpha's omega, she wants to keep her freedom. But when her father sells Ellie-Mae to Darrel to pay off his gambling debt, she doesn't have a choice - she goes to the Alpha Center.
Ellie-Mae is being matched to Kydax, the enforcer's leader. We get both their POV's, so we know exactly what they think. Ellie-Mae has come to the colony on false pretenses, and she just wants some time to solve her problem, but she's surprised of how kind-hearted Kydax is and how well they treat their omegas. Kydax really is thoughtful and cares about Ellie-Mae's well-being, despite his horrifying fangs and immense build. I like how they slowly build their relationship, although it doesn't take very long before there's hot and steamy alien-sex!
We get to see Willow and Strykr from the prequel novella and I would have liked to have seen more of them. It's been three years since they bonded, but they still haven't got any children. Ellie-Mae observes that there's no children in the colony, and that makes me wonder about the Throkyn's survival? I hope we get some answers in the next book.
The epilogue feels unnecessary on my part; the last chapter before that would have made a perfect ending. But for those who can't get enough of alien-sex the epilogue will be great! To me it becomes a bit too much...

Unique take on the Omegaverse!

This is a unique combination of the omegaverse and an alien race who is facing extinction/needs human females for procreation. These are 2 of my fav sci-fi genres and the author did a wonderful job combining them!
Women can visit a center to be matched with an Alpha for 30 days to try to trigger a “scent” that makes them into Omegas. During the 30 days they are clothed, fed, taken care of and they build a very intimate relationship with an Alpha they are matched with.
The FMC is sold to a loan shark to pay for her fathers debt and to escape that fate, she heads to the center to be matched with an Alpha. Originally, she uses the center to hide, but the MMC and life at the center grow on her and she genuinely wants to be his Omega.
This book is SUPER angsty, so just know that going in. I kept fretting over whether she would “scent” or not because I really liked the FMC & MMC. Also know that while the love scenes are steamy, there are only a couple at the very end.
A really unique story that I enjoyed! If you dig Omegaverse books, I recommend this one!.

Earth is recovering from a world-side plague. Aliens from the planet Thro have come to earth in answer to a plea for help from its inhabitants. Parts of earth remain outside the area protected by the Throkyns. Those areas where many still resist this “aid” are known as the badlands. Ellie-Mae is a girl from that region-on the run and looking for escape to something, if not perfect, at least better than her future there. She enters a program to be “matched” with a Throkyn and taken into the Alpha region as an Omega. Things don’t go exactly as planned. She starts to fall in love with this “creature” named Kydax. They grow together and things get HOT but will they be able to reach the closeness required to bond as Alpha and Omega within the 30 days allowed? This is a steamy tale of trust and betrayal. Will reconciliation and forgiveness follow in time to save their relationship?.

This was a fantastic book and loved how these two had their own issues to overcome but can they have a future or not. Ellie-Mae is a human that has been avoiding the Colony and the Alpha Centre because if she is an omega the males will scent her and will be mated but when her father sells her to pay off his gambling debts to a leader in the Badlands but she refuses to go and runs away to the Alpha Center where she can stay for 30 days and now she is matched to Kydax. Kydax is his Chief’s enforcer of their pack the Throkyns and wasn’t looking for a mate but hoped to find his omega but now he is matched to Ellie-Mae a human female that is gorgeous and drives him crazy and hopes he will trigger her scent as his omega and there steamy and hot times together has them both wanting more but how will he react when he learns why Ellie-Mae wants to be at the center. Great book.

A new series by Anastasia Austin, and I am super excited about it. Alpha’s and Omega’s…gotta love that. Kydax and company came to our planet to help in Earth’s time of need, and they have helped, of course not everyone sees it that way. Ellie-Mae goes to their center to escape and get out of a bogus marriage that her father arranged to pay off his debt. The center helps pair omegas with their Alpha’s. I won’t deny it, I have a huge crush on Kydax, he is my favorite guy that she’s ever written. Absolutely smitten with him, he is so sweet and a hopeless romantic….“Even if you are not an omega, I will always love you.”….see what I mean, calling dibs on him. He’s wanted his own Omega for so long, it’s just damn sweet.
Safe read, with a good storyline, a little action/suspense, lots of bedroom shenanigans, an epilogue and a hea.

This was a different sort of Omega story that what I expected. An alien group needs to find females to restore their population before they all die out. To determine if the female is compatible, the women stay for 30 days at a Center where they meet the Alpha they are matched with and hope that they will trigger a scent. Ellie-Mae doesn’t want to be one of their omegas.
But when Ellie-Mae's father gets in trouble over a gambling debt he incurred, he sells her to be sent to a camp in the Badlands. Instead, she runs to the Center to hide out. She is matched to their pack’s chief enforcer, Kydax. She finds being with him is not what she expected and she wants to be his omega. But if he finds out she had lied to be here and had come under false pretenses, would she be told to leave? Would she have no further chance to be with Kydax?

Kydax, the chief enforcer and right hand to the head alpha, is her perfect match and has been waiting for his turn to get an omega mate. But Ellie-Mae hasn't scented yet, and if she has scented by the end of her thirty days there, then she'll be forced to go back to the world she's desperately trying to escape from.
I sat down to read this book and in less than an hour it was finished. I was so invested in the story and the characters that I absolutely could not put it down. Ellie-Mae and Kydax are the sweetest couple and both have a little trauma in their stories. Not to mention they have some pretty good steamy scene that will make you melt.

Having arrived on Earth three years previously to aid humanity in reinstating their civilization after it had been ravaged by a virus were the Throkyn Alphas.
This was a nice little omegaverse Sci-Fi Romance with all the knots in the right places as Ellie-Mae finds more than she bargained for in alpha MMC Kydax. I enjoyed this engaging read from a first time author for me with its good writing and alluring story.

This is about a different planet with aliens and some humans living in it. The aliens try find their match by dna. A lot of them have found it in through humans because the alien population is real low it didnt explain really why but also dont want give to much out. I like this because the woman wasnt forced into being with the guy and they both tried to figure out their relationship and make it work for each other. The alien man is afraid to get attached if she dont choose him but tries doing his best. I like even after a few things that would probably break them and ruin relationship they fought to be together and fell for each other. I liked this book and if someone likes a alien human book i recommend this short story

I don’t think I’ve ever read a sci-fi romance before. Fantasy, yes. Paranormal, definitely. But not sci-fi. And it was like wrapping up in a warm blanket because it was Anastasia’s writing, which I’m familiar with. Even though it was set on Earth, it was dystopian Earth, so way different than what we experience now, so just her world building and character building is brilliant, especially for a not super long novel. I loved the relatability to Ellie-Mae, her fears of this alien race come to Earth and the false notion that they’re there to hurt the humans. And daddy Kydax can get it all day long. I wanted way more of his primal instincts that we only got a little bit of. But overall, fantastic book, would recommend, especially for a first time sci-fi romance reader.

Maybe she should volunteer for the alien matching service? What’s the worst that can happen? I get matched to an alien? And wouldn’t you know I do! There was this pamphlet they said I should read that it has a lot of information I need to know. I was just trying to escape my father's dastardly plan; I hope they don’t find out. Now I’m a meek’i and I don't know what's going on. Kydax is the sweetest alien! You’re going to love him. This is a sweet alien romance and I recommend it.

what a great read. Ellie-Mae lives outside the protected area and needs to get away from the man her dad sold her to. This Omega program was confusing at first but during the story you received more and more information that makes you go wow this is a great program. You could really see her attitude change about the whole process as the days went by. Kydax's story as it was told during the book was sad and you felt just like Ellie-Mae and her response was perfect.
You so want her to scent and as time went by you felt bad for both her and Kydax.
This was a really interesting read and looking forward to upcoming ones as well.

I've not read anything else by Anastasia Austin, but I sure will read more!! Ellie-Mae's father sold her to a thug he owes money to, so she heads to the Alpha Center where she pretends to be seeking an alien mate until she can figure out a way to escape this thug. Kydax wants an omega of his own and has had a tragic pat, but he hopes this beautiful human will be his omega. The more time Ellie-Mae spends with Kydax, the more they feel for each other. What was suppose to be just a place to hide for 30 days, seems different now to Ellie-Mae. The book has sizzle, steam, action, drama, and a few twists and turns. Solid read.

If you're a fan of sci-fi romances, then you absolutely must read "Matched". From the first page to the last, this book had me completely enchanted.
The characters are so well-crafted and relatable, I felt like I was a part of their world. The chemistry between the two leads, Ellie-mae and Kydax, is downright electric. It's almost impossible not to root for them and their budding romance.
The storyline and world building are excellent, exciting and full of adventure, action, alphas and omegas with some steamy scenes and a happily ever after ending.
Overall, "Matched" is an absolutely delightful read, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a feel-good story.

Ellie-Mae (h) flees the Badlands when her father sells her to cover his debts and she finds refuge at the Alpha Center when she pretends to be seeking an alien mate. Alpha Kydax (H) longs for a mate and is happy when Ellie-May is identified as his match, though he must now hope that she presents as an omega during the thirty day window if she’s to be his. Ellie-Mae worries that her real reason for coming to the Alpha Center will come to light, and then as her relationship with Kydax deepens, she worries that she may not present. Sweet Omegaverse romantic quickie with a side of danger and plenty of ultra-hot steamy action, including scenting, knotting, heats, nesting, claiming, and more.

loved it !! love this series !! love Ellie-Mae and Kydax... this is their story.. a fast paced drama.. the Alpha center.. 30 days...omega... the Badlands... Ellie-Mae has no choice left, it's to the Alpha center for 30 days to hide away from her father and the man he will give her to... Kydax is the head enforcer and wants a mate so bad.. yet, he feels he doesn't deserve one... when he meets Ellie-Mae... he wants her so much... his Meek-i... his one... but... he knows something is wrong with her... so very wrong... he will kill for her... if only ? so good !!!.

This was a sweet and steamy omegaverse story. Ellie runs to the alpha centre for a trial run to escape being sold into marriage to someone she despises. Kydax was deemed the best match to her and he set about wooing her. As their relationship built, she began to feel guilty for not being at the centre with good intentions but is sure feeling a strong bond to Kydax. When things come to a head, and danger reigns, Kydax and Ellie do what they must to survive - and that led to their HEA. This was an enjoyable romance and I'm looking forward to the next book in the series :D

I'm not a massive fan of the alien smut, now I've read several books of Anastasia and I must say it's quite a steamy alien one.
I love the bot of rama on it, the total surrender and trust better the two characters and the fact it has a bit of background information so you can understand where both of them come from.
I love the protector but still vulnerable type of guy(alien or not)
Defenately worth the read.

As she comes to know him she wants to be his omega. But lies stand in the way. The the unthinkable happens..she disappears. Now Kydax's honor and stance may stand in the way of a happily ever after.

The perfect way to pass time reading

First time i read something from Anastasia Austin and it was a pleasure to read .Ellie Mae goes to omega center running from her father who sold her and is matched with Kylar a sweet,caring alpha who longs to have his omega.Their love is put in trial because she doesn't scent and her father will cause troubles one more time.And when Kylar claims her it's one of the hottest scenes i've read!.

This story is steamy hot with an over the top protective loving alpha male and a human female that falls for him. Kydax wants an omega of his own. Ellie Mae is a human woman running from the man her father sold her too. When t h ese two come together, it's takes time but they bond to each other finally. I liked readingbthis book.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a fun read. Great world building. I liked the idea of an Alpha Center where females can go to get matched to an alien alpha with the potential to scent and become omegas. Ellie-Mae didn't go for the right reasons, but it was easy to see how the experience opened for eyes and changed her views of it. I loved Kydax. He and Elle-Mae were so well suited to each other. A wonderful read. 4 stars.

Ellie-Mae didn’t have it easy, being a pawn of her pathetic father, but she never gave in. She was determined, brave and refused to give in to him, risking her life to escape her fate in the badlands . Kaydax terrified initially, but his caring tenderness slowly drew her to him as his promise of keeping her safe became a reality. He’s incredibly patient as he keeps every promise he made, building her trust in him.

This well-written book 1 in The Knot of My Earth Book Series has an intriguing sci-fi romance novella with amazing characters. This book builds a well-crafted world, an intriguing story and unique characters with depth. This story is action-packed with twists, turns, suspense, chemistry, and love. A must read for Alien romance lovers. My first book by this author an will be looking for more stories.

i love love love loved this book!! i love alien romances where there’s an entire lore about claiming periods, it makes it so much more exciting and worth the wait than just sleeping together right away. guys this was so so hot and sweet and everything you want in a romance book! i found this one so enthralling that i’m trying to find ones like it but there are none! anastasia we NEED a book 2 😍 6 stars out of 5!

The first book in the Knot My Earth series. Ellie-Mae and chief enforcer, Kydax at the Alpha Center's story. There is suspense, drama, danger, villains, a surprise and romance. A different type of genre for me, but the storyline does pull you in with a great plot. Enjoyed the characters as Ellie Mae learns more about her match and Kydax is a sweet man and you feel for him once you learn his story. A quick paranormal romance read.
