An okay book. I just noticed that this author is new...only around 8 or 9 books out so far. Maybe I'll try her another time. It wasn't a bad book and not great either. Several things I waited on. Emery kept saying she was doing it for revenge and she wanted to save the other women but as soon as she was free she celebrated having sex again instead of following and looking for the other women?!?!..... don't get me wrong I love a great sex scene but it shouldn't be what most of the book was...

No Way Out is the first book in the Royal Bastard MC, Atlantic City, NJ series, and it is SO GOOD! It is a super-steamy, instalove, two broken souls heal each other romantic suspense. Surge, aka, Alex Torres is a nomad. He's part of the MC club but has not been tied to a chapter. When his friend, Aero, the current president of the NJ chapter, calls him asking him to be the chapter's new Sargent at Arms (SAA), he goes to check it out and agrees. On his way, he meets Emery, a sassy red-headed beauty whose bike is broken down on the road. She declines his help, but the two can't stop thinking about each other. When their paths cross again, they realize they may be fighting the same enemy. Emery is broken and has trust issues. Can she let Surge in? Their chemistry sizzled, and the story had lots of action. The story does end on a bit of a cliffhanger. I can't wait for Backdraft's story and the rest of the MC cast. This is going to be a great series! It involves bad boys, morally gray heroes, action and violence as well as love and steamy sex. I'm all in!

‘No Way Out’ is Kris A Dean’s’ RBMC story about the new chapter in Atlantic City. Surge has alway been a Nomad: no ties other than his MC and that’s how he likes it until Aero calls. He’s their SAA now and headed to AC when he stops to help another biker. Emery is on a mission of revenge and no one will distract her from her goal.
Emery is a strong, resilient, and intelligent woman with some emotional scars that manifest as panic attacks. Surge is determined to make her his own, protect her, and help her get her revenge. The sexual tension between them is palpable and in reality is extremely hot. Danger, mystery, and an action packed intro for this series. Lots of great characters to look forward to!.

This book had me hooked from the start. Never wanting to put it down for a second. It's such a crazy emotional rollercoaster ride that has twists and turns that you don't see coming. It had me on the edge of my seat and heart pounding.
It's filled with danger, spice, revenge, secrets, healing, angst, suspense, mystery, action, and so much more.
Surge and Emery's chemistry is instant, a true connection from the start, they could burn the world down.
It's such a dark, gritty, raw and intense read and I was here for it all. The storyline, plot and characters where amazing and beautifully written. The author done such an amazing job bringing these characters to life.
I can't wait to read more from this author. Highly recommend!!!!

Kris is now in the RBNC (AC chapter) world now and she did such a great job with Surge and Emery’s story. It os filled with suspense, action, revelations, revenge, steam, healing and twists that I didn’t see coming. Emery was hurt in her past and is now back for revenge. Surge was a nomad and is coming home to a new charter with a great friend as the Prez. This storyline was great and kept me on the edge of my seat. The characters were fantastic and I loved meeting them all. You can see the instant attraction these two have when they first meet and they both hope to see each other again. The chemistry between them is sizzling. I can’t wait to read the next one after the ending. Wow!! Another great read by this author.

Surge has always been a nomad for the Royal Bastards MC, until he gets a call from Aero. Aero is now President of the Royal Bastards MC, Atlantic City chapter and he wants him to become his sergeant at arms. On the way there he comes across a female biker on the side of the road, he offers assistance but gets attitude from the cutie.
Emery is back in Atlantic City to get revenge on the people who hurt her. When the gorgeous biker keeps showing up, he makes her think of normal things, is she ready for that?
The pair have such chemistry from the beginning. Parts of the story some may find triggering due to the backstory of the character. As with any RBMC novel, there is plenty of action and suspense.

Surge is someone who doesn’t play by the rules and likes to be on his own since he doesn’t like to stay in one place long and can go wherever he wants. When these to me, there’s instant chemistry however, she’s not looking for anyone at this point if she’s plotting revenge and take down King. Will Emery and the surge come together and allow that chemistry to sizzle, or will her past prevent that from happening. The amount of sizzle and fiery banter with in this book is amazing. You’ll see a wide range of emotions from lust to fear to calmness. Great job with this book and I can’t wait to see what else you’ve released!

This is the first in this series. It did not disappoint but I’m not surprised. I’ve loved all of her books so far. This was about Surge. He was a nomad so he didn’t have a home club with the royal bastards. He traveled through all of them. One day he got a call from his friend Aero. He became president of the chapter in Atlantic City. He rode out there and never left. He became the SAA. On his way there was a motorcycle on the side of the road with problems. He stopped to help and was told she didn’t need his help. He left but he could not stop thinking about her. Their paths would cross again and not necessarily for good reasons. But he wanted to help and so did the club so they did. Can’t wait for the next one!!

No Way Out is book 1 in the new RBMC Atlantic City, NJ Chapter and my first read by this author. It's absolutely fantastic! The storyline is consuming and these characters are to die for! Surge and Emery carry us along for their dark, intense, gritty journey that engulfs the readers from the beginning and keeps them deeply planted into their story until the end. I love that Emery is a strong, independent, take no prisoners kind of woman who has a score to settle and she can definitely handle it. I love that Surge just let's her be herself without trying to interfere (too much) and change who she is at heart. I can't wait for more from this author!

Surge has been running from his past, as a nomad for the Royal Bastards he gets to go where life takes him. When the Pres of a new chapter calls you to him, he can ignore a brother.
Emery is a strong woman and has been bailing her brother out of trouble. When that trouble lands on her doorstep, she finds that she has the MC to back her up.
Great start to series, it left with my jaw dropping and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Surge and Emery’s story was such a ride! I can’t get enough of a hot possessive biker man and a fiery MFC. Their attraction is instant. When you know, you know! Their passion is so electric that there really is “No Way Out.”
There is action, suspense and lots of steam. There is also a twist I didn’t see coming. Don’t worry, they get their HEA, but there is a cliffhanger at the end for another character in the book! Kris Anne has left me wanting more. I can’t wait to ride into the next book!

I absolutely devoured this one. I loveeee an MC romance, and this was delicious. Surge met Emery on the side of the road, and her feisty personality kept her snug in his mind until they met again.
Emery has been through some stuff (some bad stuff) and is looking to bring the people responsible to justice by whatever means necessary.
There was an unexpected (for me) twisty twist and a gut-wrenching conclusion.
I want more of their story but also immediately need the next story. I can't wait for more Royal Bastards MC.

Wow!! What an explosive book. She has so much action packed into this book. But I do love the Insta love from both Surge and Emery. I like Surge's alpha male tendencies. Emery is a head strong woman who had something happen to her that she did not let it get the best of her. With surge being a Royal Bast@rd, she has the club behind her.

This story was epic, full of suspense, action, steamy, intrigued, and with a twist that I was not expecting 😳. It has a happily ever after with a cliffhanger for the next book. To say that I couldn't put this down is an understatement. I was instantly hooked in the very first chapter. I looove a good MC series and this being my first book from this author was amazing. It took me through a lot of twists and turns during the time the I was reading and I can honestly say this is one book that is on my reread list. This was one of my very first books from this author and I can not wait to see where they decide to take me next.

I must admit that I have a terrible weakness for razor sharp reads that are gritty, intense and filled with raw emotions, thick tension, sizzling steam, juicy drama, thrilling suspense and pulse pounding action, and this book checked all those boxes and more. This was a new to me author and I am so going to be reading more of her work. This is my unbiased, unsolicited review.

Finding Home!
Being a Nomad has its advantages, but a call from a friend to put down roots changes things. Now a brotherhood and fiesty redhead that he can’t get out, things are about to heat up. New to this author and was pleasantly surprised. My only reason for the 4 stars was it felt a little rushed. I still recommend this book.

This is a great read for a weekend reality break!!! It's got bad boys - complete with motorcycles and leather cuts, a strong & sassy FMC with past trauma and a MMC hellbent on setting her free, and a plot with drama, revenge, and spice - all with a twist that'll keep you reading the entire Royal Bastards MC Series. I can't wait to read more from Kris Anne Dean about these Alpha, bad boys!!

BAM! What a Great Start to this Chapter of the RBMC!
Loved Emery and Surge . . . so much so, I read it in one sitting! There are so many layers to their story and so many easter eggs about what’s to come with this world. Let me tell you, I’ve buckled my belt and am in for the whole ride! This was an amazing read! I want more!

Yes, ma'am. What a ride. In all the RBMC stye with a Kris Anne Dean twist, you have Surge and Emery's story along with the start of the Atlantic City chapter. Everything comes together for these two after some heart-pounding moments, and then she throws us off a ledge with Backdraft in serious trouble. Fantastic read.

Wow! Another fantastic book in the RBMC world! Surge and Emery’s story is full of suspense, incredibly hot chemistry and fast-paced action. I loved reading their story and can't wait for the next run!
