They began sharing healthy, slimming recipes, and today Pinch of Nom is the UK's most visited food blog with an active and engaged online community of over 1.5 million followers.
I enjoyed this book like the previous books by Kate, but it wasn't ask good. It was very carb heavy and the recipes weren't necessarily aimed at slimming friendly which is grand by me but it does state that's what this book is for on then cover.
In saying that I enjoyed the colourful pictures and I cooked a few recipes from it. My favourite would have been the Bombay-Style potato & Chicken traybake, it was very tasty. Also the microwave cappuccino lava cake was delicious and the lemon meringue pots where to die for as well.
Well worth a little read, I borrowed it from my local library.
This was given to me by a friend who didn't like it, she had it as a present but said there was nothing in there she would cook, and it wasn't a diet book as she was expecting. So as I like presents this was a lovely one to pass over to me (albeit 2 yrs later!!).
It does say slimming friendly recipes on the front and budget recipes is the title but I don't think they all are, but I have enjoyed cooking a few recipes and have already earmarked, with those annoying little stickers, which ones I am going to cook next week but it will be too late to write those up, so I am giving it a 4 stars already. It is very colourful!!
I was so excited that this came to print in the US. I love how accessible, affordable, and healthy the recipes are. The sausage and tomato rice was delicious, so was the mushroom masala, and the sticky plum chicken! I can't wait to try more of the dishes! Thank you for including vegan and GF icons/options. Please consider adding F degrees conversions next time though for us!
