Enter the world of Holly Well Springs... where the Christmas spirit lives on. With long gorgeous silver-blonde hair and stunning eyes that flicker with silver, Nessa can’t help that so many men find her fairy-princess-like appearance irresistible. But she doesn’t want to settle for a maybe relationship when she knows her forever love is out there somewhere. Things take a dangerous turn when one guy just won’t take no for an answer. Nessa’s parents decide that the best way to keep her safe is to send her far away to a small town in Montana, where her mother had grown up and her aunt is still running the town’s bakery. Nessa has always heard about Holly Well Springs, the town that celebrates Christmas all year long. From the time she sets foot there, she knows it feels like home. The only problem? A somewhat gruff yet handsome chief of police who keeps bumping heads with her from the moment she arrives. But as she spends more time with him, Nessa begins to realize that what she feels for Evan may just be that forever she’s been looking for all along. True love.

This is a well written book with a cast of strong characters and an entertaining storyline. The author does a great job developing the story as she continues Brodie and Hannah's story and introduces Evan and Nessa. I love how she tells the story with the multiple characters. She moves it fluidly with her descriptive scenes and delivers another terrific read.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
This is book two of this series, told in multiple first person POV and leaves you with a HEA for the couple but barely hanging by your fingertips needing more to the mystery of the town called Holly Springs and the magic that surrounds it.
This can be read as a standalone, but previous characters make a huge appearance. The actual storyline, apart from the main characters, is also somewhat told throughout both books so far and looks like it will continue into another book. So it is probably better to read them in order, but isn’t necessary.
My heart went out to Nessa and everything that she had to go through just to find her HEA and a place she truly felt at home in. I loved that Evan had every intention of stealing clear of the spitfire pixie that was thrust in his path seeking protection. I loved that no matter how hard he tried to stay away, his soul just kept getting pulled back to her like a magnet. Sachee and Kris are driving me insane with all the secrets and mystery, but I can’t lie…I LOVE it!!!!
I seriously cannot wait for the next book to come out. I have to see what happens next and who the next couple will be that is touched by the magic of Holly Springs!!
I received an advanced readers copy via Bookfunnel/the author. These thoughts and opinions are my own and left voluntarily after reading for my own enjoyment.
Not my usual reading preference but I was hooked on Holly Well Springs with the first book "The Wishing Well". This magical town celebrates Christmas year round with happiness, love and special people. Evan is the chief of police of Holly Well Springs where crime seldom happens but always a chance of mischief. All that changes with one phone call and a spoiled Florida woman in het easy to hide. That is until he meets Nessa face to face in a heated discussion. All thoughts of being spoiled flees his mind about this silver blonde haired pixie beauty with bet charm and wit. The danger Nessa is in hits home and Evan and the town rally to protect her and not just because it's his job. Evan swears to save Needs but at what cost? There is always a plan surrounding the magic well that few hold the knowledge and free will is a must. Join Evan, Nessa, Kris and Sachee in this escape to a magical place and relax. I love that there are POV's from multiple characters but not too many to confuse the story. A beautiful clean story with great characters. Already ordered the next book!!! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and loved it!!!
This is not my normal genre but,I read some.previous books by this author and I read the first book in this series and I loved it, so here I am. It was a lovely book. I thoroughly enjoyed. And I’ll not only read it again, probably both in this series. Holly Well Springs is a place you wished you live. The people are so kind and accommodating- full of love and this is a place that just makes you feel good. Who wouldn’t want to live here? This story centers around Nessa (sounds like 👿 trouble) and Evan. A town like this doesn’t really required a chief of police, but you never know so that is what he does. About the biggest crime is mischief in some small way, certainly no real crime yet. Then - in walks spoiled child, Nessa with her silver blonde hair from Florida. Their first meet doesn’t go well. Poor Evan’s heart is pounding. Nessa brings lots of drama with her. She tells him she’s in a bit of ‘danger’ and, of course, this awesome town rallies around her. But when the seriousness of what is going on and the danger Nessa is actually in Evan get’s to work and his protectiveness is in full gear. Such a great book, I couldn’t put it down.
This is book two in A Holly Well Springs Novel and it is Nessa and Evan’s story. Nessa wanted a forever kind of love and she wouldn’t settle for anything else especially as she knows that somewhere out there is the perfect man for her so she will wait until she finds him and then she gets a man who will not leave her alone or take no for an answer making her afraid so her parents decide that she should go to Holly Well Springs where her aunt runs a bakery and Nessa wasn’t expecting to go and feel like she is now where she should be because it feels like home. Evan is the chief of police in Holly Well Springs but when Evan and Nessa meet things don’t go as planned but the more time that they spend together the stronger there attraction, chemistry and feelings grows but it will not be plain sailing and there will be many ups and downs along the way but will they get the happy ending and future that they both deserve. Another great book in this series and I couldn’t put it down and had to keep turning the pages to see what would happen next and what the outcome would be for them and I can’t wait to read more books in this series.
Wow. I’m a little flabbergasted at the end of this book, and I’m experiencing some very different feelings than those when I first started reading it. When we’re introduced to Nessa, I was immediately charmed by her. Her circumstances are something that no one should have to go through. However, I was suddenly less enamored with her during her initial interactions with Evan. But, this pair make the change from hate to love look so good. There’s an added dollop of family drama that I’m hoping we’ll get the chance to dig deeper into in future books. Plus, that ending has me hanging by my fingernails to find out what’s coming next. I received a complimentary advance copy of this book from the author.
This heartfelt story had me connecting with Nessa and Evan. Nessa believes that there is a man out there for her but presently she has one that stalks her and won't take no for an answer. Her parents suggest that she go to Holly Springs where her aunt runs a bakery. Upon arrival Nessa feels like she has found her home that is until she first encounter Evan who is the sheriff. Although their first meeting didn't go well, they grow on each other. There are some twists and turns along their path to get them to their destination ending with a happily ever after. I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.
5 Stars I received a free copy of the clean Montana set novel The Coming Home: A Holy Well Springs Novel by Vivian Porter and this review was given freely. At times suspenseful, this is the story of a modern-day fairy’s struggle with a stalker and her escape to the 24/7 Christmas town of Holy Well Springs and the mystical Sachee and Kris, where she, Nessa the Fairy Queen, finds love, is terrorized, and learns her destiny. This is Policeman Evan Fischer’s story but there is a good update on the town’s activities, the town’s people, and a special moment in Brodie and Hannah’s lives. Best if read in series order. Ends with a cliffhanger.
Nessa’s ex is stalking her, so her family sends her to Holly Well Springs for her safety. It’s where her mother is from, and her aunt still lives. When she gets there, she feels like she’s coming home to a place she’s never been. Then she meets the police chief and she’s sure it’s where she’s supposed to be.
Holly Well Springs police chief Evan wants what his brother has, true love. When he meets Nessa for the first time, she rubs him the wrong way. Then his heart changes. But his first responsibility is to protect her from her ex. If only they could find him.
I enjoyed this story so much, it’s a fairy tale for adults. Such descriptive writing with fine detail to make it all the more enjoyable. A visitor coming to the town for safety, is in a way is returning to her spiritual home, and although there are a few dark moments, the joy of the residents and visitors to the town comes across so well. I do hope there will be a further story to come, not only to learn how Nessa gets on as protector of the well but I’d also love to read about Hannah and Brodie’s wedding too. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this series.
This is the second book in the series and it doesn't disappoint in any way. Nessa is waiting for her perfect man and the happy ending that comes with him. She arrives in Holly Springs to help her aunt. Evan is the chief of police and their first meeting did not go well. They are always pulled towards one another and they have a slow burning chemistry. I can wait for the next book from Holly Springs.
Vivian Porter brings such a great twist of magic and Christmas into this series. Sachee is the fairy princess who priests the well and Kris and Christine Klaus help her. In this story, Needs cones to Holly Wells because an ex boyfriend is stalking hef. Evan,as Police Chief, knows why she's in town, and promises to protect her. Their growing love is evident but will unseen forces get in the way
The meeting of Nessa and Evan in Holly Well Springs is almost magical as Nessa goes to live with her Aunt to get away from a stalker. She's always heard beautiful stories of Holly Well Springs from her mother and she can't wait to get there. A great story of love, magical places and Christmas all year long!
Loved this book. It's a magical read about a small town that is Christmas all around and the people that are special to it. Nessa comes to holly well Springs to hide from an ex boyfriend that's stalking her and the last person she falls head over heals in is Evan the chief of police. Can Evan protect her or will it be to late?
Nessa and Evan's story was magical, sweet and suspenseful. Both were so likeable. A wonderful read with added drama due to a stalker and plenty of warmth and love. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy.
Nessa is the pretty princess that every man wants. She’s not very compelling. But kind of all about her looks…Evan is the police chief in the year round Christmas town of Holly Well Springs.
