TKMC - EAGLE is book #2 in the Triple Kings MC series. This follows Eagle, the middle brother and President of the Texas Chapter.
EAGLE My top priority was moving my MC from this shithole of a place to a new compound and trying to work out the logistics of where to live while our new clubhouse and compound was being built from the ground up. Enter Melody, the cute waitress who worked at the diner where we frequented often. She piqued my interest immediately. It sure would be nice to have what my brother, Hawk, has with his wife and ol’ lady, Tori. Melody was a bit skittish, so I had to proceed cautiously. But caution be damned when someone else had set their sights on her. She was the elusive one, the one that got away, the one that our club saved her from an attacker …. and possible serial killer.
MELODY I was too busy trying to just stay afloat to be making goo-goo eyes with the President of the local MC, no matter how much I liked the looks of him. Besides, he would never be serious with someone like me. He was probably just having a bit of fun, knowing he could make me blush. But he stepped up after I was attacked. Should I give him a chance? My heart said one thing while my head said another. And he was able to find my biological dad… talk about stepping up.
The content is for mature readers 18+ Please do not read if sexual situations, violence, and explicit language offends you. Standalone novel, no cliff-hanger, HEA.
This book wasn't as good as the first book of this series so I was a bit disappointed in it I can't put my finger on why I didn't like it tho just one of those books I guess
Another great book to add to your MC reading list. This can be read as a standalone, but why would not want to read book 1. In this book, you read about Eagle, President of the Texas chapter. He and his club are trying to improve their clubhouse, which is pretty trashy. So they go into town to eat at the diner where he meets Melody. She is hardworking, has a hard life and to busy taking care of her grandmother for a relationship. But Eagle doesn't take no for an answer. There are twists and turns, club girl drama and a serial killer for them to navigate through to get their HEA.
This book is awesome, a serial killer,a new compound,Clyde,Hazel, some Jezebel drama, misunderstanding’s,this book has it all,I can’t say enough good things about this series and author, another great read.Melody and Hawk have some stumbling blocks to overcome but their love for each other gets them they’re happily ever after.5 stars all the way. Highly recommend to everyone 🖤❤️
This is another great read by Jan Daelman.. Eagle is the president of Triple Kings MC Idaho Chapter. Melody is a waitress at the diner the MC eats at. There is an instant attraction between Eagle and Melody. Trouble finds melody and she won’t let Eagle help, so he puts prospect’s to watch her. Eagle and melody find out that Death is her father, and she goes and stays at his clubhouse to be taking care of till the can resolve the issue.
Loved this new addition to the series! Eagle is basically rebuilding his clubhouse and finds his woman, she's a waitress at the local diner. Lots of drama unfolds as she's targeted by a serial killer. Club bunnies complicate matters and make her mistrust her man. She finds her biological father and he's awesome. I pray Jan writes his book... It was a great read!
The characters are alive and jump from the pages. The story flows and is captivating, keeps your attention while you never know the twists and turns that are coming. You cant go wrong with a JE Daelman book!
Mel’s life is rough and a roller coaster of emotions. An Aunt that hates her, her Gramma dying, a killer after her. But through all of this the author gives her two fathers, girlfriends and she meets Eagle. Their relationship is not smooth. But the story flows in a way that makes you cheer for Mel and fall in love with all the characters. Can't wait for Falcon story.
This was a "any woman will do" kind of story. He's still totally self absorbed and "she'll have to deal with it". He never apologizes, never works to fix things, never listens, demands attention and there's no dating just "you're mine". The serial killer plot is just filler.
2 stars because I finished it, hoping the plot would improve.
1.5* Only for the danger and excitement in a tiny part of book. The rest is terrible.
Eagle is the president of the Triple Kings MC. When he meets Melody who is a shy timid waitress, he decides that he wants her, but not yet. NOT YET??? He just puts her on hold till he has time! Wow so romantic. When a killer targets the women of their town, and especially Melody, he makes her stay in his trailer with him for safety.
I have to say I HATED EAGLE! He railroads Melody into a relationship that she’s not sure she wants. There’s no foreplay when they have sex, NO FOREPLAY??? 😱😡 Why do authors think women after a bit of kissing are ready for men? Is this author male??? Then he cheats on her, kissing one of the jezebels. (Their name for club bunnies/whores.) When Melody ends their relationship because she can’t cope with it all, his men think she should just ‘toughen up with the jezebels.’ So Eagle can’t help himself and say no???? Is he that weak? When he finally wins her back he still makes stupid mistakes. Like getting one of the Jezebel’s to furnish their house, as he’s too busy. Wow! He couldn’t ask his sister in law to come down and help? Or Melody’s friends? As Melody has been sent to stay with her pops till the killer has been caught.
There are some redeeming features in this book. (Not many.) I loved Melody’s Pops, who is the president of another Mc. The serial killer was exciting at first but rapidly gets boring as it drags on and on.
Not very well written at all. Too many things aren’t explained. How do they make their money? They seem to be really doing well, at what? I ended up skimming most of the book just to find out what happens in the end. The sad thing is that I enjoyed the first book. It wasn’t brilliant but it’s miles better than this!
PHENOMENAL!! I ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK! I don't even know where to begin. I am in love with Eagle and Mel. Mel is an introvert, as sweet as pie and a kindness about her that brings tears to your eyes. Eagle is a total bad*ss alpha and at first I don't think he's right for Mel and as the story goes on I'm even more sure he's not. He pushes things way too fast for Mel especially since she's so innocent and has no idea about biker life. When she see something that happens I don't blame her for her reaction, lets just say there are forces that don't want them together. I was like WTF?!! At times I was crying so hard it was just heartbreaking but there was also a sweet heartwarming feeling too. As things progress the suspense gets so intense it's like a rollercoaster ride I never wanted to end. And OH ,the surprises around every corner. The mystery definitely kept me guessing, I had my suspicions but when things start coming out I was like OH SH*#! At times I was on the edge of my seat and jittering on the inside. And there are so really LOL moments. The relationship that grows between Eagle and Mel is off the charts SMOKIN HOT! Some of the new relationships for Mel were a bit of a shock and some were just so heartwarming at times it felt like I was watching a Hallmark movie. I can't say enough about this book and I cannot wait for the next one. I EXTREMELY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK/SERIES TO EVERYONE! Jan you da best! 😄
In this installment of the Triple Kings MC series we get to really meet Eagle who is the President of the Texas Chapter and the middle brother. We got a glimpse of Eagle in Hawk’s book, but we get to see his character develop in this installment.
Eagle realizes that his clubhouse is not up to any MC standards and is actively working to improve it by moving and building a new one. Trying to move an entire MC clubhouse is not any easy or quick task. One main thing is that there is no longer a kitchen to cook in, so the members have to seek food out.
Eagle and his brothers find themselves eating at the dinner where Melody works. Melody has a lot going on in her life and even though she is interested, she doesn’t have the time for a relationship. Eagle is taken with her, but knows if he wants what Hawk and Tori have, he has to take his time.
So many twists and turns in this book and a possible serial killer, I didn’t/couldn’t put it down until I finished. I loved the slow burn love story that Eagle and Melody have. I enjoyed seeing the interactions between Eagle, Hawk and their younger brother Falcon. I can’t wait to see where this series takes us next!
I felt like there were parts in this one that could have been chopped out, it dragged at times, at the start, towards the middle. For much of the book nothing was happening, everyone was spinning their wheels.
I liked Melody and was glad that she found so many people to have her back. But...where were they when she needed help at the start, mostly meaning Clyde. He was her boss and saw what was going on, why didn't he step up sooner. I was glad of the relationship they did carve out, but it seemed like he reacted, not helped first.
I wasn't sure about Eagle and Melody, mostly because he was so hands off on her, until he wasn't and then expected her to just "get" the biker life, when this was her first exposure. He was so stupid with the things he did/expected from her. I really wondered if he could win her back.
The whole serial killer/stalker got old fast because nothing was found out for so long. The bam! They had him and he was dead.
I did like where the characters were at the end of the book. Everyone was in a good place and living happy.
This is Book 2 in the Triple Kings MC. It can be read as a stand-alone book. Eagle is the President of the Texas Chapter of the Triple Kings MC. He meets Mel at the local diner where she is a waitress. I’m telling you this right up front. She’s a hard-working woman who has a rough life with her grandmother in a nursing home and an aunt who’s a witch. Eagle is going to have to prove his worth to her and it’s not going to be easy. This book has everything in it that you can possibly ask for. There’s the club girl drama which happens several times in this book. Why can’t these bikers ever learn? There’s a serial killer. There’s anguish that eventually turns into love and happiness. All kinds of dads turning up. So, yes, this is one book that is fantastic with everything that happens in it. I highly recommend this book and series. This author just keeps turning out good books.
Let me begin with I loved this book, it has something for everyone, humor, angst, suspense and let's not forget those smexy times. We had Hawk and hints of Falcon, but this is the middle brother Eagle The Prez of the Triple Kings MC and his club. Melanie is a sweet shy girl who's had a very hard time of it, and let me tell you, there's one witch in her life that you will HATE!! But when Eagle sees her, that's it, he wants to get a feel if she could be what he's wanting for a future. You will absolutely love the side characters! The past comes back into play for Mel and she's so much better for it. This story isn't all sunshine and roses, there's a serial killer that they've got to stop, drama with the worst of club girls and misunderstanding that could go either way. I highly recommend picking this up and reading, but now I'm ready for more from them all and hopefully our other bird of prey Falcon will be soon.
I am blown away by how very much I enjoyed this book. I should not be surprised since this author is a favorite of mine. It is an instant love happening for the Biker President, Eagle. Turns out his love is the illegitimate daughter of a notorious biker. She learns some difficult secrets about her family when a beloved relative dies. But the main secret brings much love and happiness into her life. The Pres’s lady, Mel, matures into her role as the President’s old lady and along the way she embraces a man who treats her like she always wanted to be treated by her Dad. Then she finds her biological Pop and her life becomes filled with two biker clubs and her waitress friends, and a beautiful new addition. This is such a very good read. HEA, no cheating, no cliffhanger. Looking forward to reading book 3.
So many returning faces. We got to see more of Tori, who I adored from the first book. Then, even though another 1\3 of the Triple Kings brothers by blood\Presidents Eagle and his sweet waitress Mel were the main focus, we were able to get to know much more about Death, the character who appeared briefly in Hawk's book. We also have an opportunity to learn a little more of Falcon. Something tells me this was just a taste of how intense the most intense brother in that family is. Then there's that ending. Get it Anna! I'm not sure if we'll be lucky enough to get a full story for Death or if Falcon will be next in this series. But I'll be not so patiently waiting. Thank you, Jan Daelman for another wonderful story.
Book 2 of the Triple Kings MC series….as amazing as the first. Hawk’s brother Eagle is president of the Texas chapter. After getting approval from Hawk, Eagle sells their compound and purchases land to build a new compound. When some of the guys head to the new diner they meet Melody and Eagle is immediately smitten. Of course not long after they get together, the craziness begins. Melody has to deal with her grandmother dying, her awful aunt, a serial killer and club jezebels. It seems that they are doomed but Eagle finds Melody’s long lost father (not going to spoil it but we’ve met him before) and after a lot of drama, they come to realize they are meant to be. After Hawk and now Eagle, cant wait for the 3rd brother Falcon’s book!!!!!
Eagle is the President of this chapter of the Triple Kings MC, and also the second brother, and wants to get his club out of the crap building that his club currently resides in.
Melody is a waitress at the local diner, where she catches Eagle's eye, but with so much going on in her life with her devious aunt, and her gamma in the nursing home, she has no time for a relationship.
There is a serial killer in town and the club is out patrolling, and also getting help from his brothers, and another ally, which brings a surprise of it's own.
A few twist and turns throughout, and definitely a page turner and MUST READ. Happy reading.
Melody is a waitress at the diner the club visit where she catches Prez, Eagles eye. She's not had it easy after losing her mum, her Gamma is in a home, and having to deal with her sponging aunt, and now she's the target of a serial killer. Eagle is preparing the club to move in to a newer clubhouse, thinking of fresh starts has him thinking of Melody. But with trouble in town he has to do his all to keep everyone safe. But can he be there when Mel needs him the most? Well written the story is detailed and has you hooked on every page! The characters are in depth, funny, lovable, and more! A great addition to the series.
After meeting Eagle in Hawk's book we finally get the chance to get to know him and his chapter. Eagle is building up the Texas chapter of the club, he is working hard to make it something that everyone can be proud of. Mel is a waitress at the local diner struggling to get out from under her witch of a aunt and taking care of her grandma who is in a nursing home. She does not have time for love. The slow burn between Eagle and Mel is hot. Hold on for the ride because we have a deranged Aunt, serial killers, club girl bull crap, secrets and new family. Can't wait for more from all of the Triple Kings but really can not wait for more Falcon! The stories just keep getting better and better
I was happy to get Eagle. We first met him in Hawks book but now it is time for Eagles story. Eagle is rebuilding the Texas Charter of the Triple Kings MC. He wants the club and the new club house to be something they can all be proud of. Problem is he finds the one who captures his heart. Mel who is down on her luck with a crazy aunt and sick Gramma. As with all J E Daelman’s books there are twists and turns and Easter eggs everywhere. This book is one that will have you in the edge of you seats. I highly recommend you pick up a copy today and enjoy the story of Eagle and Mel. Can’t wait for more. I highly recommend this book.
Ok so this could have been a 5 star easy in my opinion , however the h in this one was petty, and childish. Personally, I think Eagle was wronged and Mel should have had to fix things. If what happened to him had happened to her and he treated her that way he'd be considered an a..hole. I really tried to get over that but it went on so long it ruined the story for me. I mean I live with the British vocabulary in an American MC I find that quirky from the author ( plus she does give a warning about it) I was just disappointed because this could have been so much better .
You get caught up in a wonderful story of a President moving his club & brothers forward into a new club house & all the chaos that ensues. Add a sweet girl that catches everyone's eyes working in a diner that becomes part of everyday, then a serial killer starts stalking the streets for prey with a special emphasis on our girl, & chaos goes explosive. A shocking betrayal and a death, secrets that no one saw coming make our hero lucky he has brothers to turn to, because our girl comes into her own & has firepower to match. Whoa, let the best man & woman win.
Fantastic, Amazing, Awesome, Brilliant, I absolutely loved Eagle and Melody’s story ❤️❤️❤️ such an entertaining read. Full of snarky, deceitful club girls, lots of chaos and drama, it had everything you’d want in an MC book and was brilliantly written. Eagle and Melody are perfect for each other. All the men from all the MC’s sound gorgeous inside and out, for the rough, tough men they need to be, they all have a touch I’d softness in them. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Eagle and his club need a new place to call home. They begin preparing for a move and new start when trouble finds their town. Eagle and his brothers of the MC reach out to help. As things heat up Eagle finds a woman he wants but terrible things are happening and she isn’t so sure of it all especially when her life is in danger. The Triple Kings MC series is full of fast action, heartache, and heart warming moments. Sassy heroines too with overprotective men.
This is the second book in the Triple Kings MC series. It's a fast-paced and standalone book that will keep you engaged from start to finish. This is a story about a h who is a waitress at the local diner where she catches the eye of the H who is the president of the Texas Chapter of the Triple Kings MC. Add into the mix: A serial killer, club drama with a woman and a very deranged aunt. Read to find out what happens.
Shy, naïve Mel catches the attention of two men, a serial killer and Eagle, President of the Triple Kings. The intensity and speed of Eagles affections somewhat overwhelms Mel and she sees something that causes a rift between them.
This is another brilliant story that is brimming with action, tension, drama and danger. It has some great secondary characters and of course plenty of Jezebel interference and cunning. I’m really looking forward to Falcons story next.
The sorry line was good but a bit dragged out. They could’ve caught the guy much earlier and how does it take a month to find bugs..
Also, not a fan of Mel. She is a whiny self centered woman who in my opinion should be a First Lady if an MC she didn’t have what it takes. Even at the end she jumps to conclusions and acts like a fool. But everyone pays her back and baby’s her.
