Have you ever found yourself drawn to the one person who seems completely wrong for you? I never thought the cliched phrases "enemies to lovers" and "opposites attract" would apply to me. But here I am. He's the epitome of everything I am not... Cold, dismissive, and rude. Yet, something about him draws me in, like a moth to a flame. I've faced my fair share of trauma and pain, but he's been through even worse. I see a vulnerability in him that he doesn't show to anyone else. It makes me want to break through his walls and uncover the real him. As much as he tries to push me away, I refuse to let him. I know that behind his gruff exterior lies a heart ready for love. It’s not going to be easy, but I'm willing to risk it all for a chance at an "us". Will he meet me halfway and take the leap at building something beautiful together?
Thunder Elites is a team of 5 special forces agents. For these men, danger is part of the job, but falling in love was never part of the mission. But even the toughest alphas are defenseless in the face of love. Can they navigate the unchartered waters of love, which may be their toughest mission yet? You can expect grumpy alphas, undeniable chemistry, lots of sexy scenes, danger and suspense, and feel-good HEAs from this series.

This is book two in Amber Ford's "Thunder Elite Special Ops" series, for anyone wanting a very quick romantic read with angst this series could be for you. The elite team were on an underwater mission in Pakistan, they were seriously outnumbered but they managed to capture the rebel leader, Sam, one of the Thunder Elite team was shot in the arm and loosing a lot of blood. Xavier, an no combat agent, takes the team to his home, it wouldn't be safe to take Sam to hospital, Xavier's sister Eliza would tend to his wounds...........someone had forgotten to tell Eliza. When Lucas and the rest of the team return to the US, Sam was deemed unfit to travel and much to Eliza's annoyance she was left to help him recover. Feisty, straight talking but beautiful Eliza had no problem putting arrogant, rude but ruggedly handsome, Sam in his place, throw in Xavier's order to Sam to stay away from his sister and you just know that sparks are going to fly and opposites are going to attract in spades. This story follows Eliza and Sam's enemies to lovers story with it's HEA. I received a free copy of this book and my review is voluntary.
This one will suck you in from page one and keep you turning the pages until you've completed it in one sitting. Sam and Eliza meet because her brother has asked her to help him out. There first encounter is while he's out of it, which leads to an interesting/fiery conversation when he comes back around. As these two go head to head while trying to ignore the underlying chemistry, but once they give into it watch out. The How his whole team rallies to help, give their support and tease Sam in a good way just adds to the entertainment. The drama builds with the way Sam reacts after the scary situation with Eliza is resolved. Eliza takes steps that will have you rooting for her to get and keep her man. I loved the ending, great way to end this book and tease us about the next one.
I absolutely love this new series that Amber Ford is bringing to us. I can't wait for the next book .
The Thunder Elites Special Ops series is great and this is the second part and it is the story of Eliza and Samuel. Samuel and Eliza are like cat and dog and fight and argue with each other, but there is also an attraction and chemistry between them that they both fight. This story is full of action, violence and has enemies but also a lot of steamy and hot moments. I recommend this book to read. je
I received an Advance Reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review
Samuel is part of a special ops team and is in Pakistan on a mission. He is wounded and ends up having to stay while he heals. The beautiful lady to tended to his wounds is the sister of a fellow American and ally. They butt heads but cannot deny their feelings for each other.
I received an advanced copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I received an ARC Copy of this book, and I voluntarily chose to review it. This is a well written short story with wonderful characters. This is a short easy read. This is one you can read in one sitting. This one is worth your time.
Samuel is grumpy alpha and and gets shot working with Eliza's brother. They were on a mission and he stayed at their house to recover and they both are fighting each other but can't stay away from the other. He leaves but e comes back because neither can get over each other
I want more! This was freaking awesome. Definitely enjoyed reading this story. Chemistry was sizzling. Characters connection to one another was awesome. Loved every page!
I enjoyed this book and the beginning of a new series. Samuel is a grumpy alpha but with Eliza, their love is sizzling! No cliffhanger. I’m looking forward to know more about Ethan.
Great story about special forces, the intensity, action and the brotherhood they have. Yet, there is also those who try relationships. Awesome story ❤️
This is the second book in the Thunder Elites Special Ops series and can be read as a standalone. Samuel and Eliza's story is a short and steamy, enemies to lovers instalove. Eliza's brother lets Samuel stay with them while he recovers from a bullet wound. They fight and argue every chance they get but underneath all that arguing is a strong attraction. I received a copy of this book from the author and this is my honest review.
