Mayhem & Magic is the fiery third book in The Younglings YA paranormal fantasy series. If you like a diverse cast of characters, fast-paced drama, and sizzling romance, then you’ll adore Helena M Craggs’s cunning chaos.
The Younglings: Book ①: Shadows & Magic Book ②: Fire & Magic Book ③: Mayhem & Magic
◆This is a series that will stimulate your imagination whilst worming its way into your heart◆
I’ve been a voracious reader ever since I was a little girl wandering the library aisles, letting my imagination run wild in fantastical worlds. These days, I’m still a devoted bibliophile, forever enchanted by the escapism of swoon-worthy romances and faraway realms. I believe books hold infinite possibilities—and mine are no exception. In my NA series, expect magic, sharp banter, morally grey heartthrobs, fierce and witty heroines, and more than a little passion. My YA urban fantasy has magic, danger, and super-hot supernaturals.
I live in rural West Yorkshire, England, with two ridiculously gorgeous pups, two perpetually cynical cats who very much run the household, a chicken with attitude… and a husband. When I’m not writing, I’m either devouring fantasy novels (the more romance, the better), laughing with friends, or rambling through the countryside with my dogs.
I'm mainly on Instagram, where I'm ready to talk fictional crushes and nerd out over books. (Okay, okay. And I've also been known to share snippets and teasers from my upcoming novels, if you're into that sort of thing...) Please feel free to chat with me there @craggshm. I love talking with fellow authors and readers.
I was provided with the audio copy for review. I felt like the narrator was a little 'breathy' at first, but after a few chapters of these characters snd I didn't even notice it! What an amazing series this is! The characters are wonderful, and fantasy fans are sure to find someone to cheer for, because there is something for everyone! I also highly recommend this for fans wanting to try out the fantasy genre. It really shows all the amazing things so well. The plot is so easy to read, it's gripping and funny and fabulous. I raced through it in just a few sittings. I'm sure there is due to be a book 4 in the series, and I cannot wait for it!
I have enjoyed each of the three books written by this author.
There's always something happening in these books. I would class these books as being 'portal-fantasy' as a great deal of the travelling from place to place is done via teleportation of one form or another.
It has likable characters, with a mixture of different sexual-persuasions that makes this a series that should have some appeal to a wider audience.
I shall be looking forward to the final book in the series sometime later in 2023/24.
The Youngling gang is back and as sexy and angst-filled as ever! As they transition from teens to young adults on the cusp of college, etc, they still have to deal with the routine things such as epic shoot outs, time hopping, evil vamps, and tricksy witches. You know, the usual growing pains. 😉 Sprinkle in some steam and an ending that’ll have you chomping at the bit for book 4—I know I’m ready! Great book, epic series.
Reading this book has been one blast of a ride! In the third instalment of The Younglings series, stakes get higher and dangerous situations multiply. The team of supernaturals does their best to make the world a safer place for everyone, humans and magical creatures alike. But life throws new blows and challenges their way as if testing their endurance.
The Younglings are at college now. Along with usual troubles – submitting papers on time, not failing important tests, unresolved issues with their exes – they have to deal with things that threaten the whole world.
Call me weird but I have warm feelings toward one big, terrible, and ugly demon. Torrock should inspire solely fear, but I feel there is more to him. Pure evil he may be, and still, his loyalty to Quinn doesn’t feel like it’s only obligation-driven.
In book three of the series, the Younglings travel between continents, realms, and even attempt to challenge time itself. Losses and disappointments are inevitable. You can never tell beforehand if they make you stronger or break you. Powerful enemies scheme against the Younglings, and they have resources, patience, and deviousness enough to cause serious damage. Quinn’s crew needs everything and everyone to fight on their side if they want to win these battles. But as it often happens, there are cracks in relationships within the team. Will the Younglings manage to repair what was broken before it is too late?
“Mayhem and Magic” introduces Quinn’s uncle to the readers. Enigmatic, eccentric, and unbelievably egocentric Lucas is... Well, it shouldn’t come as a great surprise to you that he is Lucifer himself. After all, Quinn is a half-demon and his father is a formidable demon king. Lucifer is everything we expect him to be, but he has a weakness... And this weakness will provide young Quinn with much-needed leverage in his interactions with his uncle. I found this plotline especially intriguing, and I hope the author will explore it further in book four.
The third instalment of The Younglings series “Mayhem and Magic” is an action-packed, fast-paced read that won’t let you breathe out until you turn the last page. And even then, you’ll be left craving for more.
Have you ever loved a book so much you struggled with the review? Well, that’s why it’s taken me so long to write this one!
I don’t even know where to begin. I mean, this book *chefs kiss*
Once again we return to the chaotic world of the Spooky Crew and I couldn’t be happier.
They are your typical group of friends making their way through life. Dealing with the day to day stresses of school, relationships, families, oh and the odd demon-trying-to-take-over-the-world too, so the usual stuff teens deal with, right? 😂
That’s what I love about this series. This group of friends still go through what all kids do as they grow and navigate their way through life. Yes, they are unique with “special abilities” but their emotions and day to day experiences are real, and that’s what makes the characters so likeable.
Mayhem & Magic is by far my favourite. The Spooky Crew still help out lost ghosts, but new dangers are lurking in the dark. Dangers that are closer than they realise. Dangers that put the lives of the crew in jeopardy.
Mayhem & Magic is fast-paced, action packed and full of delightful (& challenging) surprises including new characters, time travel, death & a demon called Torrock (who I adore!). Fear not, there are plenty of hilarious & beautiful moments that will make you laugh & smile.
I cannot rate this book enough, I just wish I had book 4 now! 🧛🏼🩸
"Something wicked comes for them all" is an apt description of this thrilling and action-packed novel. The story follows the half-demon Quinn Carter and his found family as they battle against various supernatural enemies who are determined to destroy them. The author does an excellent job of building tension and keeping the reader engaged throughout the novel. From the very beginning, the stakes are high as Quinn and his friends are under attack by a psychotic ghost, an unforeseen spy, and a treacherous witch. The action is fast-paced and intense, with plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader guessing. One of the standout features of this novel is the well-developed characters. Quinn is a compelling protagonist, and his found family is equally exciting and complex. The relationships between the characters are authentic and believable, which makes it easy to become emotionally invested in their struggles and triumphs. The time-hopping element of the story adds an extra layer of intrigue. The historical setting is well-researched and vividly described, making the story's time travel feel believable and engaging. Overall, the story is a thrilling and well-written novel that will keep readers on the edge. The combination of action, suspense, and well-developed characters makes for a compelling read that is sure to satisfy fans of the supernatural genre - highly recommended.
I'd been waiting for this book to arrive which seems like ages after i got accepted for a tour (but it wasn't that long really.) I loved book 1 and 2 and I was looking forward to see what this one was like. Well, I can honestly say this was the best yet. It had everything, witches, demons, shape shifters, vampires, angels, ghosts, and a lot more.
The cover looked amazing, the chapters were short which I love, the writing style was so easy to read and so well written, it pulled you along so you really didn't want to put this book down.
I really enjoyed the variety of storylines within the book as the squad helped ghosts pass on. They had multiple adventures and enough shocks and suprises to keep you turning page after page.
My favourite characters were Quinn and Eve, as the good and evil love affair progressed through the books. I think we would all love their abilities. Who is your favourite? let me know what you think, but please don't add spoilers as it ruins the fun.
I’ve absolutely loved this series so far and book three did not disappoint! If you are new to The Younglings you really need to read the books in order and pick up books one and two first.
The cover looks amazing and immediately catches your eye! These books are YA but I’m definitely not in the YA category and I love them!
I love the scooby doo/buffy vibes this series has. It is such an easy read with short chapters that keep you wanting to read ‘just one more chapter.’
I love Quinn and Eve and seeing their relationship develop throughout the series. They make such an adorable couple. Eloise is another fab character she is hilarious.
This is such a fast paced and action packed book, but be warned once you start reading you won’t be able to put it down. Looking forward to reading book four, I can’t wait to see what happens next for Quinn and co.
Thank you to Love Book Tours and the author for having me on the tour and for my gifted copy of the book along with the fantastic goodies I received too.
First of all a HUGE HUGE thankyou to Helena @craggshm for sending me this beautiful book- but also for being one of the loveliest people I have the pleasure of knowing. I'm so proud and lucky to call you a friend. Through everything, and how hard it has been and no doubt will be once again with book 4, just remember I have your back, always, and you're incredible in every way. I love you!
So if you haven't read The Younglings before and love everything buffy/scooby doo style with spooky mysteries supernatural beings, found family and plenty of action to keep you interested, I suggest picking up book 1 now and binging these books! They're very YA books (perfect for age 15+) but I love that I can pick these up and read them for the pleasure of it at any age. Book 3 sees the spook crew back again and we are straight in to the action of solving mysteries with a blue eyed boy ghost! I found this story really cute and although it's a quick putting the dead to rest case, it brings a new member into the crew in the form of a cat Sevvy- who likes no one except Millie. The first main story is centred around Joanna, a witch, who we saw in the last book and a grimoire called the veil of souls. To make sure joanna doesn't get her hands on this, the spook crew have to time hop back to 1612. Helena truly researched how people spoke and what they wore in this time, sparing no details. Everything was described immaculately and I loved the difference in language with Quinn and the people of 1612. The other part of the main story is Rhys the Vampire tracker who is trying to end the Younglings and the elder vampire council by creating zombie vamps-his only wish to save Eve so he can make her his vampire queen. The whole book is FULL of witty comments , sexy daddy demon Mr Atua, emotional tear wrenching moments and non stop action from start to finish. Be prepared to laugh and cry with this incredible 3rd installment in The Younglings series!
Thank you @h_craggs @lovebookstours @KellyALacey for letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. I was so happy when I got accepted on The Younglings Mayhem Magic tour. I did miss them the younglings feel like part of the family. They are great books and this is the third book in the series. Can't wait for the next one. I love Helen M Craggs writing style from the start of the page I am dragged into Quinn and his gang world. Mayhem and Magic is full of magical adventure and action-packed all the way through. There were times when I had to hold my breath because I didn't know what was going to happen to a few characters. I felt like I was on a rollercoaster of emotions in certain areas of the book. I love all the characters but my favourites are Eve, Millie, Eliose and Mrs D. The story is fast-paced which I love and Beautifully written. It was nice to see Quinn and Eve's relationship become more closer. I do love them as a couple. This is a fantastic read and if you love the supernatural you will love this book. The front cover is amazing. adore this series and it's an easy and enjoyable read. 5Stars.
The Younglings: Mayhem and Magic The Younglings #2 Fantasy, YA Helena M. Craggs ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book was a great addition to the series.
The pacing was just right and there was plenty of action as Quinn and his friends faced numerous challenges to keep everyone safe. The multiple POVs kept me engaged as I had to keep reading to find out what was happening and what certain characters had planned.
The characters were well developed and I must admit that I have a soft spot for the cat Severus/Sevvy, even if he does have an attitude most of the time 😂.
As this is a YA book, I'm glad that the characters also do everyday things that "normal" teenagers would do, alongside the supernatural. This makes them a lot more relatable.
Helena has a great writing style, especially when the gang travelled back to 1612. It's obvious that Helena does plenty of research to make her writing as accurate as possible.
Overall, this was an interesting read and I'm very curious about what the next book will bring.
*Thank you to @craggshm for providing this ARC. This is my own opinion and an honest review, which I am leaving voluntarily*
This is the third book in The Younglings YA paranormal fantasy series and the third book in the series that I have loved. I’m eagerly awaiting book 4!
The Younglings are such loveable characters. All with their own skill set and personality to bring to the group. They work so well as a team. Quinn. He is just my favourite Youngling. The love he has for Eve as well 🥰. She is badass on her own though and can look after herself! He really is developing in every book (as a human and a demon). I like his father and the introduction of his uncle. I also love Torrok and need more of him and Quinn’s army.
I love the vampire storyline in this instalment. I’m looking forward to seeing how it progresses. There is so much I could say about this book but it would spoil it. You just need to read it.
I can’t recommend this entertaining series enough for someone new to the genre (or someone who isn’t)!
Thank you to @craggsmh and @lovebookstours for the gifted copy and spot on the tour.
This series gets better and better! I devoured that book!! Simply couldn't put it down! Helena manages to keep you engaged by not only providing an amazing plot throughout the book but also by throwing lots of sideline plots which makes her writing extremely fast paced. You don't have time to catch your breath as something is always happening. The introduction of a devilishly handsome new character brought even more mayhem to the Younglings life, but I wouldn't have it any other way ❤️ This trilogy has been so easy to read and enjoyable. It's packed with action, love and humour and I'm already impatiently waiting for book 4.
Huge thank you to @craggshm for an ARC copy of Mayhem & Magic, although I was gifted this book all thoughts are my own.
This is book 3 in the YA series The Younglings, we follow our team of protectors. Most of them are supernatural beings who help protect mortals from paranormal forces. In this instalment we get more time with Joanna the witch, and have some time travelling back to 1612 to try get the Grimoire of Souls. I really enjoyed how accurate this seemed with the period dress being described and the language used. We also get more information as to what Rhys the vampire tracker has been up to and plotting. Including his plans to kidnap Eve, destroy the Younglings and take over the vampire council. If you think that's all we also have ghosts, some relationship drama and so much more. Helena has a way of writing that makes you feel like part of the team and routing for the Younglings to succeed. My favourite character is Millie the witch who gets a familiar in this book which I love. But all the team are well rounded characters who have unique personalities you will fall in love with them all.
Just like the other books in the series, we have action, emotional moments and some funny/witty moments to break the tension. This book is exactly why I love reading this series, you have a great time with some fantastic characters and always want to come back for more. But be warned you will not want to put it down
This is the third book in the Younglings series and another brilliant read. The story picks up where we left off in book 2 and you are thrown straight back into the action.
This book is perfect for young adults, but I also think an enjoyable reader for anyone older. Yes, the characters are around 18, but the normal teenage life problems thrown in with the supernatural is a great mix. The teen angst is very relatable for teens but also adults would have been through it too.
The story is full of action, magic, friendships, relationships, family, love and struggles for all the characters. The story kept me drawn in, kept me intrigued and wanting more. There are some twists to keep you on your toes. There is a diverse set of characters that were all quite likeable and relatable.
This is a fantastic fantasy book, and I would recommend you grab the series now!!
Mayhem and Magic is the third installment in the epic urban fantasy series, The Younglings, which is my absolute favourite series EVER!
Continuing seamlessly from Fire & Magic, Craggs throws us straight back into this fast paced, action filled adventure as we once again join the Younglings in their biggest fight yet -- ridding the world of those that threaten the world, keeping everyone safe, all whilst juggling their college work.
I've been on board since book one and have grown to love the characters and their development as each book progresses.
Shape shifters, ghosts, witches, vampires, demons and even Lucifer makes an appearance in Mayhem & Magic. There's something for everyone; time travel, found family, friendships, and there's a new face in town in the form of a cat!
This is the third book in The Younglings series and as soon as I picked up this next book I easily fell back into the world of Eve, Quinn and the pack. Just like the other books in the series Mayhem & Magic is full of fast paced adventure, action and plenty of humour and antics. There is a lot going on in this story. The Younglings come under attack by a ghost, they are betrayed by a witch, a new friend infiltrates the team and they even go on a time travelling trip to the past! But as always this group comprising of demons, angels, vamps, ghosts and witches will do whatever it takes to keep each other safe. I'm really enjoying the characters grow and mature through the series with them beginning to think about their futures. Careers. Relationships. The Younglings has become one of my favourite YA series and that's partly because of Quinn and Eve, with the wit and sass their dynamic adds to the story. I look forward to reading what comes next.
I am totally and utterly in love with this wonderfully written epic urban fantasy series. Mayhem & Magic is the third installment in the Younglings series, and I was lucky enough to have read the other two in the series. I must admit, Mayhem & Magic is definitely my favourite.
Once again, Cragg's has done an amazing job with the world building and plot. It was comforting to see Quinn and his gang back in action.
I really enjoyed the time travel and the introduction to Quinn’s uncle Lucas. If you are a fan of vampires, demons, and witches, this book and this series is definitely for you. I can not wait for the fourth book now.
It is no secret that I ADORE this series and this 3rd installment is no exception, I LOVED IT.
All of the book is this series are well written with a compelling storyline and well developed and deliciously paranormal/supernatural characters. This book picked up seamlessly where the second one left off and it felt like getting back into it with an old friend.
This is a fresh new series which also gives me a massive dose of nostalgia as it reminds me of things from my youth like Buffy and Sweet Valley High only with more of the supernatural in the latter
I cannot recommend this book and this series enough I absolutely adore the series and the author ♥️♥️
Crikey this was a fast paced, action packed exciting instalment! If you haven't read the Younglings series before I highly recommend you read the first two before picking up this one as they really build the characters and their stories.
Book 3 was everything I hoped for and more! Helena stays true to the fact that her characters are teenagers, now off to college, and the way they speak reflects this.
We follow the younglings into one of their biggest fights so far. All our favourites are still here and their bond is as strong as ever. We are reacquainted with the tracker Rhys and his despicable plans become more obvious as the book goes on. We also meet the fabulous Lucifer, a.k.a Satan and his links with the younglings are intriguing but not surprising if you think about it! I am excited to see where he fits into book 4 as I feel there is a much bigger part for him to play!
I received a free copy оf this book from the author іn exchange for my honest review. I was drawn tо the book by its intriguing title and cover photo, and I wanted tо find out more about the story. This book іs the third part оf 'The Younglings' series, a fantasy saga.
The author has a fantastic writing style that kept me hooked from the beginning tо the end. The story іs full оf imagination and creativity, and the author does a great job оf building a vivid and fascinating world. I also enjoyed the character development and the interactions among the characters, which added depth and emotion tо the story.
I highly recommend this book tо anyone who loves fantasy. The book іs also free for Kindle Unlimited subscribers, sо don't miss this opportunity tо read it. You will not regret it.
Wow! The third in the series of this Buffy/Twilight-esque YA supernatural fiction is absolutely jam-packed from start to finish! The characters that we have grown to know so well over the first two books pick up seamlessly from where they left off. The wit, humour, and healthy doses of sarcasm make you feel like you are watching a 90s American high school drama (which I loved!) A couple of really quite emotional moments in this one, in keeping with the growing maturity of the younglings. Some new characters are introduced, and I have no doubt they will provide spectacular entertainment. I have a real soft spot for Torrok, I hope he doesn't let me down! The pacing is fast and frenzied, I read this in 2 sittings over the course of 24 hours, I just couldn't put it down! I can't wait to see where the series will go next.
Maybe darker than previous entries, but still every bit as fun and captivating. The younglings are growing up, handling things on their own. The time hop was my favorite segment. Lucas Morningstar was my next favorite. (Haha he plays piano and sings. Look out, Tom!) Craggs serves up plenty of varied “monster of the week” mini adventures and still holds a story developing in the background. Masterful work! I still hold that it would make a great TV show but with all the strikes… this audio book is totally sufficient and worth the listen. I see all the characters and hear them and I don’t feel Iike you’re missing much by it not being on the screen. Fantastic. Five stars! Can’t wait for the next one!
My honest thoughts.. Well Helenas gone and done it again! Another excellent epic story to the series of magical adventure..
She's written it so smoothly that as I read it it genuinely feels like you've transported into this magical realm. With so much exciting adventures this whole series will keep you on your toes and keep you from sleep..
Honestly love the characters, like the are family now lol I see Quinn as a big bother..
I'm literally so excited to read book four (storms, starlight and magic) that I like don't know what to do with myself until then..
I Am Very Fortunate To Be Able To Call #helenamcraggs A Friend. I Have Adored #theyounglings Series Since Book One So As Soon As Helena Asked If I Wanted To Read Book Three #mayhemandmagic I Jumped At The Opportunity! 😍
The Younglings Follows A Group Of Supernatural Young Adults As They Discover Not Only Their Magical Gifts But Also Their Sense Of Identity. All Of The Younglings Are So Relatable & I Feel That Any Reader Will Be Able To See Qualities Of Themself Shown In One Or More Of Them 🥺
This Instal Continues Developing These Amazing Characters Even More Intricately As The Author Highlights Their Growing Strengths & Vulnerable Weaknesses. I Love That Despite How Strong Our Cast Of Characters Get That They Retain The Parts I Find The Most Relatable In Them Which Is Their Heart & Emotions ❤️
Helena Is This Third Volume Has Once Again Shocked, Tickled & Left Me Overwhelmed With All Of The Emotions! I Absolutely Can’t Wait For Book Four! 🙏
Wow! Helena has done it again! Each book in this series has continued to build and has just gotten better and better! I am going to be very sad when the last book comes out and there are no more 😞 The poor Spook Crew just can’t catch a break with all the things being thrown at them! We had some interesting new characters brought into the mix and I genuinely can’t wait to see what mayhem they bring with them in the next and final instalment of The Younglings series. Rhys is a fabulous villain although I am scared to find out what he has planned next for Quinn and the gang. Each of his plans is more diabolical than the last. There is just so much to unpack and so many questions to be answered. I 100% cannot wait for book 4!
Quinn, Eve and their team of Younglings are still on the path of figuring out their place in the world, fighting against every supernatural threat is not an easy task. But Quinn is happy, because he is finally with Eve, the one person who calms him, the one person who makes him feel like everything is perfect.
But the vampire that seems to turn up around every corner, that seems to have it out for Quinn and his friends, is not backing down. While he hates the team, he's even more dangerous because he covets Eve, he wants her for himself. Quinn also finds out a horrifying fact about who he is related to, someone who could literally unleash Hell on earth.
While some friends leave and new friends are gained, while the group finds love and deals with loss, they show their resilience and their strength undertaking every bump in the road that's tossed their way, and they make it out on top. Together. But will their bonds be enough to keep them safe in the end?
My thoughts: This is such a sweet series. I really loved reading the third installment and I really cannot wait for the next book. There were some really shocking moments, some really crazy twists and some really truly sad moments. I still love how there is so much that happens around the main plot, giving it that sort of episode feel. I loved Jack and Natasha and everything that happened with them (I shall not say what though). I have a feeling that the next book is going to crush me but I've already told Helena that she is NOT allowed to kill off Mr. Atua! 😂😂
Y’all. I have been waiting for this book to come out, and it did not disappoint. The Younglings are back, with all new adventures and some new friends and family. I definitely was not prepared for some of the things that happened, and I gasped aloud a few times. Not always the best when you are reading in public 🤣 The new family member threw me for a loop, the cliffhanger ending has me on the edge of my seat, hoping the next book is in the works and will be out sooner rather than later! This book is third in the Younglings series. You could read it on its own, although I definitely recommend going back to the beginning afterwards and catching up. You won’t be sorry!
The Younglings are going to be busy. At the start of the book Quinn is introduced to the ghost of a little boy who he helps to pass over. He then encounters another ghost who is after vengeance. This is followed by The Younglings being targeted by a vicious witch and find that they may have a spy amongst them. But what they don’t know is that a bigger evil has The Younglings in their sights and is intent on destroying them.
I read the second book in The Youngling series, Fire and Magic in July 2022 and I loved that book. At the end a new threat to the Younglings appeared and since then I have been eagerly waiting for this book to find out what this new threat was. It has been a long wait to be reunited with my favourite Spooky Scooby’s but it was worth the wait.
I didn’t think this series could get any better, but after finishing the current instalment I was wrong. It was better than I imagined it could be. The storyline was full of magic and fast paced. Compared to book one and book two there was much more action. What I liked about the story was that it had multiple storylines but they were so easy to follow. The introduction of the spy was an interesting idea because they try to infiltrate The Younglings’ inner circle by getting close to one person in particular. But I definitely got bad vibes from them and could see why Quinn was suspicious of them. I have to say that my favourite part of the story was the time travel aspect and it was weaved into the story so well. It was interesting to see Quinn interact with a younger version of his dad.
It was so lovely to be reunited with the characters. Quinn’s strength is growing as is his relationship with Eve. We see a lot more of their couple side and them spending time together. In this book it was very clear that what started off in book one has now definitely progressed to love and to what I would refer to as soul mate status. I liked the introduction of Lucifer in this book. Up until now the big bad has been Quinn’s dad but now with Lucifer on the scene he makes Quinn’s dad look less scary. It was definitely funny seeing Quinn interact with Lucifer because at times it felt like Quinn was Lucifer’s babysitter and making sure he didn’t get himself into trouble or cause trouble. One of the most annoying characters had to be Jesse. She’s clearly trying to get Quinn back and always making comments about Eve. But Eve doesn’t take these comments lightly and always came back with a witty and funny response. The group also have to deal with grief when they lose someone close to them unexpectedly.
The threat to The Younglings was further explored in this book and it was a pretty brilliant plot twist. Initially it seemed like something was after The Younglings and trying to destroy them but as their motives became clearer the real reason for their motive came to light. Not only did they want to end The Younglings they were after one particular member of the group which was sinister and bordered on obsession. In order to cause chaos to The Younglings world zombie vampires were introduced and the stage was set for a mass feeding which has in some ways exposed The Younglings and supernatural beings to the outside world.
The ending of this book has set up the fourth book perfectly and The Younglings have more challenging times ahead of them so I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.
