Intuition never steers you wrong but advice from others might.
WHEW!!!!! This series was too good!!!!! I mean a straight page turner. I hate the things that happened to both Rory and Ryan at the hands of Dom hctib ssa. When I say I could wait for Nash to unalive her, I COULD NOT WAIT. It was priceless and it made my little heart so happy. Rory was pissing me off with her BS once Sko found her cause she was doing him so wrong and I’m glad she finally came to her senses cause she was about to ruin a good thing and I was not feeling it. My girl Ryan, you were just as strong as Rory and I loved how you stood up for yourself and realized your egg donor was still scum beneath the pits of hell. Baby when I say she made me the happiest when she gave her selfish dirty conniving momma to Royal and Region, y’all I think that was my favorite part of the book. When Nash and Sko said they didn’t play when it came to Ryan and Rory then meant it and to see how they handled people when it came to them was everything. Carter got everything he deserved for bothering people who wasn’t bothering him, he got exactly what he was looking for. Ma Gail was one of my favs cause she didn’t play when it came to Rory and Ryan and I love how she loved them as if they were her own daughters cause we know they Momma was garbage. It was beautiful to see Rory and Ryan get the love they never got as a child and to have men who cherished them. Great job Miss MaMas.

I had high hopes for book 2, the second that I have read from this author and while it didn't completely blow me away, I kept me turning the digital pages- even though Rory was getting on my nerves with her overbearing ways towards Ryan and Ryan's naive ways and her need to prove that she was grown was also something that was starting to wear thin on my nerves. I actually disliked how much Ryan's relationship with Nash pulled her further from her sister and perhaps this is an unpopular opinion but it was giving very ungrateful for all the sacrifices Rory made, especially when Ryan started entertaining Reese again. Nonetheless this book answered most of the questions and got the get back that I wanted it to get- even when I thought it the author was going to leave one loose end she came through for me in the epilouge. Overall, another solid read but there was some repetitive dialog- just from another character perspective and a lot of grammatical errors. That combined made it more like a 2.5/3 star experience.
Ryan told Ms. Gael that wasn't ready life, but she stepped up when their mammy was plotting on them. Ryan even tried her the benefit of doubt, but Rory wanted to tag her a** and send her on her way. Rory is in serious need of therapy. Rory was kind of jealous of Ryan because she made a decision with out her. Ryan is grown anyway, she didn't need Rory holding her hand. Sko was good for Rory because she gave him ish, he gave it to right. Nash and Ryan complemented each other. Only time Nash was upset or angry is when someone was coming for his family or well-being. Ryan is the quiet one they had to worry about. Nash was so worried about Ryan and the baby, he didn't even shower, for a minute he went off on his family. Sko was going to lose it if he didn't find Rory had it been for Ashanti. He was going paint the city red, he killed Ghana's mammy who was running the prison. Dom is just desperate and delusional for Rory. Vic was right along with her. Nash did Dom dirty she thought that she could play with the big boys. Nash couldn't wait to get his hands on Carter, Ryan gave the word for his boy to drop her mammy. She wasn't in a very forgiven mood. Sko had a present for Rory and that was Vic.
I enjoyed the series. Now I'll be honest and thought for a second that Ghiana was going to be on some bs when her mama came in the picture, but I'm glad she wasn't. Rory made you just want to hug her so tight. You understood the reason behind her being so hard, but at the same time it was like it was time for her to let go. Ryan was such a sweetheart. I wanted her to whoop Reese's azz for the old and new ish. I loved Sko and Nash. They both showed the girls real love and it just made you melt.
Connie Easton ate again!!! This was such a great read! Rory and Ryan needed to grow apart in a healthy way, and their men saw to that while still letting it be known that the Hoffmans ain’t to be played with. I genuinely loved everything about this book. I stated in my review for book 1 that I wanted things cleared up quickly but ooooo the way everything played out was much better. I love a great a “get back,” and everyone due a tag got theirs😁. The way this storyline was written it gave closure for the twins as well as Nash and Sko while still leaving so many possibilities for other characters. I can’t wait to jump into book 3 and meet new characters, but as of now, Connie Easton is doing her big one with this series!
These two book…… yall know I love an unhinged man, but I love an unhinged, sh*t talking female just as much (if not more because of how I can relate at times)! I love the love the twins have for each other, the protective big sister 💪🏾, and the kind hearted baby sister! But when they both fall in love with these brothers…. Things I’m Still laughing at …Nash getting pissed when he thought his brother brought Nash to dinner! Ryan talking to Nash about his damn sharks. The brothers mama talking crazy to the teins mama lol
This was a wonderful read and I appreciated the bond btwn the sisters!!!.. Rory was stressing my nerves with her back and forth attitude!!..She wants the man, she don’t!!!…She wants the man near, she don’t!!!…I was happy he finally stepped and gave her the same energy!!!..She got some act right real quick!!!… Dom was truly stuck and I did not understand how she thought they were going to let what she did slide!!!… The twins mother knows she was wrong and to be part of trying to disrupt their lives again all for the love of her other children!!!…
I really enjoyed this finale. I absolutely loved Nash and the way he loved Ryan. Rory got on my nerves omg I swear. I get pregnancy hormones but she just always letting her anger get the best of her and flying off the handle. I knew Reese was up to no good. Dom could’ve never thought that Nash would let her walk. I almost thought Vic got away and I feel like Dom should’ve been the surprise for Rory.
This book was absolutely amazing! It had me on the edge of my seat the entire time, with twists and turns that kept me hooked. I loved how the story developed, pulling me deeper with each chapter. The plot was well-crafted, and the pacing was perfect—never a dull moment! I was completely invested in the characters and their journeys. If you’re looking for a read that keeps you wanting more, Double Dose is it!
I really enjoyed the first book and looked forward to the second one. After reading this one - i feel like the cliffhanger was unnecessary in book one. 50 more pages and it couldve been wrapped up. This was good but felt like a lot of filler. Overall it was good to see how the story ended and would recommend it so you can at least see how it concludes.
A good series. The love the twins have for each is beautiful and sad at the same time because it was forged in fire. Rory made me want to strangle her a few times but the way Sko gathered her all the way I love it. And the fact that Ryan got some fire in her I love that too.
But Rory never grew on me. I understand the way they were brought up but the way she was so disrespectful at times to the ones in her corner was irritating. I liked her nature just not some of her ways, great read and story line! Definitely reading the next in the series!!
I don't know. This book gave me mixed feelings. Rory was doing entirely too much to the point I wanted to put this one on the DNF list. It felt like it was all over the place at times. I only finished it because I just wanted to know what would happen to Carter, Dom, Vic, and Reese. Could've done without out though.
I definitely loved this series. Them brothers and them twins were a hot mess! Ryan did make me mad in this series by brushing off Rory’s feelings, but I’m glad Rory was able to let go and finally be about herself. Those Hoffman brothers are the truth.
This book was good well written each page drama and action suspense couples well match for each other balance each other out Karma did her job well Nash and brother was not playing enjoyed reading happy ending
This was so good. Vic & Dom got exactly what they deserved. Reese was a horrible mother I knew she was up to no good she also got what she deserved. Carter should have left those men alone.
A beautiful ending to a well written series. I enjoyed this series so much I couldn't put it down. The drama, the growth in rory and the love they have for each other. I really thought Reese changed though 😕
Again this story was amazing from beginning to end… I won’t give any deets bcz you need to read and experience everything in real time. You will not be disappointed. Happy reading
Those Cordova Twins and those Hoffman sisters were bosses, and they found their forevermore in each other. Rory and Sko and Nash and Ryan were the perfect teams. Rory was a little hot headed but knowing her background you understood why. Reese coming back was trouble from the start and I knew she was looking for a comeup. Carter, Dom and everyone else that crossed the line got exactly what they deserved. Happy Reading Y'all!💋
