If you are in the world of 1-1 work with students this book offers amazing strategies, advice, and examples. I enjoyed the applicable tips and research. There are some tips that do not always work - such as how students respond to open ended questions or when a student wants advice or direction rather than introspection. I want more about meta cognitive learning and hope that the authors expand on this in another book.
