Welcome to Mustang Mountain where love runs as wild as the free-spirited horses who roam the hillsides. Framed by rivers, lakes, and breathtaking mountains, it’s also the place the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain call home. They might be rugged and reclusive, but they’ll risk their hearts for the curvy girls they love.
Dylann Crush writes contemporary romance with sizzle and sass. A romantic at heart, she loves her heroines spunky and her heroes super sexy. When she’s not dreaming up steamy storylines, she can be found sipping a margarita and searching for the best Tex-Mex food in Minnesota.
Although she grew up in Texas, she currently lives in a suburb of Minneapolis/St. Paul with her unflappable husband, three energetic kids, a clumsy Great Dane, a rescue mutt and a very chill cat. A great story about two people who connect and work together on a project to raise money for a fundraiser. Their attraction is undeniable, but he is careful because he has been hurt due to being hurt from a work injury, and left with noticeable disfigurement. Lily sees past this, and shows him he doesn’t have to hide from this. Beautiful story.
This was another entertaining, sweet and steamy read for this series and I love how Ruby thinks she the matchmaking 'bomb' ;P Lily and Mack are paired up to work together for a charity event that Ruby set up for them to meet each other, and they really hit it off. However, communication issues cause some bumps in the road to happiness for them but they finally sort themselves out. I'm really enjoying this series of quick romances and look forward to more...and will give Ruby all her dues. Lol!
This book was different from other MCbooks I've read.. to be honest it started slow then it captured me. I will definitely be reading all the books in this series.. I'm not too good writing reviews without spoilers so what I will say is it's a great read just give it a chance... great storyline I actually want to learn more about the character I love books like that..

Caterer Lily (h) is paired with mountain man Mack (H) to work together on a charity event and find themselves drawn to one another. Mack worries that his scarred visage and broken nature will turn Lily away, but she proves him wrong. Lily struggles to balance her growing feelings for Mack with the future she’s mapped out for herself. The pair will have to come to terms with what they really want and open up to one another. Love that Hades found his Persephone. Sweet mountain man, curvy girl romantic quickie with a side of heat and some minor relationship drama.
Former firefighter Mack took refuge on Mustang Mountain after a devastating fire left him with a serious case of self blame and a scarred body. Not liking to be gawked at or pitied over his scars, he’s isolated himself for the last three years from most everyone except his MC brothers. Now he spends his days training sled dogs. He’s given up any notions of romance and locked his heart away long ago. Because the costume covers his scars, he agrees to play the Easter Bunny at the MC sponsored egg hunt where he meets and hits it off with the town caterer Lily. But he believes she would never go for him if she could see what he really looked like. After all, he’s been there and done that before with his ex-fiancée who left after he was injured. Lily is focused on expanding her catering business and doesn’t really have much time for a relationship, but she can’t seem to forget about her instant connection with Mack. So the mayor’s meddling wife, Ruby, decides it’s time to play matchmaker with the pair using the pretense of a charity event to highlight mushing in the area while raising funds for the women’s shelter. And it works! Lily proves that she sees beyond his scars, physical and emotional. And Mack opens up to her, believing for the first time in years that he can have it all. It’s perfect until Lily’s loan to expand her business gets approved, which means she will be moving hours away. Mack is crushed and feels like she led him on. To protect himself from further hurt, he decides to end things. But a couple of months later, they are both miserable without each other. Good thing they both decide it’s time to fix that. The rest of the guys on Mustang Mountain better look out because matchmaking Ruby is really gonna have the big head now!!! This was quick paced, sweet with a side of steam, and just a little bit of angst.

Ruby has once again done it again. She has taken another Mountain Man of the Month- on Mustang Mountain- Mack is May’s. lol. Mack is one of Mama Mae’s fosters. Mack had been a firefighter, due to unforeseen circumstances, he lost the people he had been trying to save and thus had been badly burned over a portion of his body. He had moved to Mustang Mountain about three years ago just after he had gotten out of the hospital. He runs sled dogs and breeds them. One of the females he is about to breed is named Persephone. I laughed as soon as I saw her name because I knew what was going to happen. If you’ve read the other books in the series then you can figure it out as well. Lol
Caden is a new hire that helps Mack with the dogs and is one of Mack’s MC brothers- Shaw’s younger brother. During the previous month- for Easter, Mack had dressed up as the Easter Bunny for the event for the kids. Lily had spent a lot of time with him talking through the suit as she had been in charge of the catering. Now another event was about to take place, but Mack is uncomfortable around most people because of how they look at the burns on his face.
Lily works hard to gain Mack’s trust and they are adorable together and hot. A major misunderstanding occurs & I wanted to yell at the both of them afterwards. Lily’s assistant Sam is awesome. I hope she gets a book soon. I can’t wait for the next book. I love this series!.

Mack relocated to Mustang Mountain a few years ago from Texas. A former firefighter was injured and left scarred from a call-out. He now runs kennels, breeds dogs and runs sledge runs with them etc. Getting a message from Ruby in town about a charity event she is running he knows that it is easier to go straight away, otherwise, she’ll hunt him down. He wasn’t, however, prepared that there would be someone else joining them from the discussion – Lily the local caterer and beauty he spoke with at the Easter event, albeit from the safety of a bunny costume.
Lily has always lived in the Mustang Mountain area, with her catering business going from strength to strength. Ruby getting on at her to expand the business which would mean a move to Bozeman for larger facilities and client base. Arriving at the coffee shop to find out the plans for the women’s shelter charity event she;’s pleased to see Mack again – without his costume this time. Although it’s clear he is not too happy about everything and makes excuses to leave.
Listening to Ruby, Lily opts to head up the mountain to chat with Mack. getting the opportunity to spend time with his dogs, see his scars for the first time and attempt to cook him dinner which goes wrong and she leaves. Unable to consider why Lily could possibly like anyone with scars Mack hides away until another visit from Lily and a dinner re-run. Finally realising their connection things go well between them until news of a business loan Lily applied for is approved. What does this mean for their future?.

Ruby is back at it! She's chosen Mack to be Mr. May in her quest to get men in the community married and settled down. To say he's not thrilled with her plan is a huge understatement.
Mack moved Mustang Mountain in Montana from Texas and was one of Mama Mae's boys. He had been a fireman there. He was severely burned when trying to rescue a mother and child in a house firm and a beam collapsed on them. Making matters worse, he was the only one to survive. He feels that his scars are so disfiguring that no woman would ever want him.
Mack is a member of the Mustang Mountain Riders MC. It's at an Easter egg hunt the MC is helping at when he first meets Lily. His face was covered with a mask and that was fine with him!
Lily runs a successful catering business in town. She really likes Mack when she met him. However, can she convince him that his scars don't matter? She sees them as proof of his bravery.
They draw closer and closer to each other and even Mack is thinking of a future together. Then he learns of her secret (to him) plans. Is this the end of their tomorrow?

This is another wonderful insta love romance between two people who weren’t looking for love. Once again, Ruby is up to her matchmaking tricks when she insists that Mack and Lily work together on an upcoming fundraiser. Lily has been so busy trying to set up her catering business and planning for expansion that she has made no time for a relationship with any man, though there is just something about Mack that speaks to her soul. Mack is a former fighter who was injured on the job and has been left with major scars both physically and mentally. He raises and trains sled dogs and keeps to himself much of the time. He believes no woman would want to be with him since his ex fiancée left him. He felt sparks when he talked to Lily at the last fundraiser, but he had a mask on then. He tries to hide his face from her now and avoids her as much as possible. Fortunately, Lily is not easily put off and keeps coming to his house to talk to him about the fundraiser. She is able to show him that his scars are not disgusting to her, that he is more than just his scars. Whether it is Fate or Ruby, another mountain man finds his match, though their story is not without some trouble, some self-doubt and angst.

Ruby has set Mr. Mack as the month of May. She is at her matchmaking again. Mack works on the Mustang Mountain working the the sled dogs and staying away from town. He was burned really bad when he was a firefighter and he doesn't like people to see his scars. Lily is a caterer and has been paired to work with Mack on the charity event. Mack leaves the meeting early because he didn't want Lily to see the side of his face. She goes out to his place and tries to cook him dinner and while cooking she ends up kissing his face where the scars are. Mack is feeling thing that he hasn't felt in a long time. I love how the pair don't even fight their feeling for each other. They are both in love and Lily shows Mack how much her love is by kissing all his scars. But will it last if she gets her loan to expand her catering business in a town 5 hours away? Can they work out a way that they can be together and still have their dreams? Beautiful, quick love story with sizzling heat thrown in. Love the story and the series.

I received this ebook ARC, from the author, on the condition that I write an honest review. I’ve grown to love these mountain men finding their true love. Eve London and Dylann Crush have mastered the art of writing a story that is concise, but loaded with all the necessary information about the characters, and their love. Mack is a former firefighter, who has been scared in a fire. He lives a secluded life, attempting to prevent the townspeople staring at his scars, and feeling guilty. His home is where he raises and breeds snow dogs. Lily is the local caterer in a small town, and the local matchmaker sets her up with Mack. They begin a slow relationship that builds to love. A great job offer is offered to Lily, which means that she will have to move another town. Mack realizes that Lily will be leaving him, so they breakup. Lily moves to her new job, but really misses Mack. Mack shows up at Lily’s place to beg for another chance. They agree to begin again, and the couple obtain their HEA.
This is book five in The Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain series and it is Lily and Mack’s story. Mack used to be a firefighter until he was severely injured leaving him with scars inside and out and also broken so now he is a recluse and loner on his sled dog breeding farm in the mountains away from it all. Lily is trying to build her catering business so that she will have stability and never having to struggle like she did in the past so that was her new goal in life. Lily and Mack have an attraction and chemistry between them and when they have to work together for a fundraiser it just gets stronger but will they give in to it and get the happiness that they both deserve. There are many ups and downs and difficult situations that Lily and Mack will have to deal with and go through and my heart broke and I felt like I was there living through and feeling all the pain. I couldn’t put this book down and I can’t wait to read more books in this series as they certainly pack a punch and keep you turning the pages.
This contemporary romance is Book 5 of Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain, the characters and world-building are exceptional. Their journey is enthralling as they embark through life: Welcome to Mustang Mountain where love runs as wild as the free-spirited horses who roam the hillsides. Framed by rivers, lakes, and breathtaking mountains, it's also the place the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain call home. They might be rugged and reclusive, but they'll risk their hearts for the curvy girls they love. There is an adventure, heartfelt emotions, mature, explicit romance that is consumed by lust, desire, passion, and steamy spice with all the feelings, instalove, MC Club, a Scarred Hero, drama, scarred and broken, love, and more. I recommend reading this book by an extraordinary author who knows how to captivate her reader's hearts and attention with May is for Mack and an explicit romance that will have readers wanting more.

Ruby is at it again - matchmaker extraordinaire! In “April is for Archer” readers saw Lily and Mack having a great conversation at an Easter egg hunt, while Mack was wearing an Easter bunny costume. The costume prevents Lily from seeing his burn scars and the psychological ones, too. Mack is basically forging a new life for himself away from being a fireman, after a terrible accidental fire resulted in the death of a mother and child besides his burns. Now he’s breeding and training sleigh dogs. NOt only did he suffer these losses but the loss of his fiancé as well. Lily is all on board for Ruby’s matchmaking plan, but she wonders if expanding her catering business will hinder her potential relationship with Mack. What will happen when Mack loses his heart to Lily only to have it broken again because her livelihood may take precedence? Read this heartwarming instalove romance between a scarred lonely recluse and a determined piece of sunshine. I have received an ARC from Booksprout and I am leaving an unbiased review voluntarily.
May is for Mack is the fifth book in the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain series. This story pulls at your heartstrings because of how broken Mack thinks he is, and how he accepts that he will never have a wife, family and love. But with the help of the town grandmother/match-maker, Ruby, that is all about to change. Lily was born and raised locally and started her own catering company which she has grown into a successful business. She has plans for her future with an expansion and moving the business to Boseman, if her bank loan is approved that is. Mack and Lily are brought together by Ruby who wants to do a charity fundraiser for the local woman's shelter, where Lily will cater the lunch and Mack will do a sled dog demonstration at his property. Things start out rocky between them but with some Love Kisses both their plans may just change to become something more than either thought. I really loved this story and enjoyed the little details and twists along the way. A definite wonderful addition to the series and another match by Ruby.
Mack, the male lead, has been hiding on his sled dog breeding farm since he moved into the area after leaving firefighting due to a traumatic event that left him mentally and physically scarred. When the local matchmaker brings him into a meeting with Lily, the female lead and local caterer, he’s less than thrilled but ends up planning a fundraising event together. They act on their mutual attraction after Lily convinces him his scarring is not an issue. But Lily has business expansion plans that’ll take her out of town…
This novella is dual POV, well written, and a sweet and steamy contemporary romance. I appreciated that the impact of Mack’s scars on his life was not glossed over but actively addressed. I enjoyed the character interactions and was amused by secondary characters. I enjoyed the intimate scenes, and appreciated the resolution.
I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.
Diving back into Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain with book 5- May Is For Mack! This series has been wonderful. I’m loving each guy and I can’t get enough of them! Mack and Lily fit together perfectly. After getting burned severely, Mack felt like he lost everything, and he isolated himself away from people. He spent years of hiding his scarred body, thinking no one could possibly want to be him looking like he did. Then he met Lily, and she proved just how much she saw beyond the scars, and saw him. He finally let those walls down and allowed himself the happiness he deserved. But when Lily’s life plans take an unexpected turn, Mack feels like she’s led him on and is devastated at the thought of losing her. This series is a must read. Each book is short, but always guarantees a happily ever after ending! And I love how we get a little bit of Hades in each story! Can’t wait for next months release- June Is For Jensen!
'I let out a dry laugh. “A few scars? Half of my face looks like a science experiment gone wrong. And you should see the rest of me.” She shook her head and lifted her hand toward my cheek. “The beauty I see in you goes way beyond skin deep.”'
I loved this book. I have a weakness for scarred heroes, and Mack was so sweet that I loved him immediately. I really like Lily and thought her a perfect match for Mack. He kept trying to hide and avoid the pity or disgust he thought he would see in her eyes. She would make him see that she wouldn't let his scars drive her away and that she liked him for who he is.
'A tear slipped down my cheek at the heartbreak in his voice. “You don’t have to hide anymore. I see you, all of you, and I’ve never wanted anyone more.”'
I liked the sled dog training and catering businesses in this book, and couldn't wait to see how things would turn out. A wonderful read. 5 stars.
Mack has been alone for 5 years, ever since he was badly burned in a fire. Giving up being a fire fighter and turning to dog training/ sledging he lives a fairly reclusive life in the mountains. When he met Lily a month ago, he was dressed as a bunny, they connected but she hasn't seen him and he knows that connection will be broken if she ever saw him without a mask. When they are forced to work together, they connect instantly, but they both have walls up, when plans, the future and the past get in the way, it's hard to see how these two will make it together at the end.
This was super sweet, emotional, and has a cute HEA. Epilogue set up the next man of the month perfectly and makes me want to devour the whole series by these two authors.

What an amazing read! I read in one sitting! This is definitely a page turner. Ruby is at it again, setting Mack and Lily up for an event, and hopefully setting them up to be together. They had recently met at an Easter event. He was in a bunny suit so Lily never saw his face. Mack had something bad happen to him when he worked for the fire department. He feels that a relationship with anyone will never happen after what happened in a past relationship that resulted from the accident. Wait til you see what that is! The instant connection between the two is electric. The sparks definitely fly right away. Lily is hiding something from Mack though. She’s a successful baker and her business is growing. What could it be? Will it stop them from a happy ending? I couldn’t wait to find out what happens in the end. Team Lily and Mack all the way. Bring on Jensen!
I absolutely loved May is for Mack Book 5 of Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain. Mack doesn’t think anyone could love him especially since his fiancé left him after the fire scared him for life. Lily isn’t bothered by the scars and Mack doesn’t understand it but he’s not letting her go. Until her secret comes out and it brings their new relationship crashing down. Lily had a hard childhood being raised by a single mother and swore she would do whatever it takes to be successful but what if it cost hers the love of her life, Mack? Such a great storyline and I just love these characters. I love this series with a new one each month and 8 can’t wait for Jensen and Courtney in June. I would definitely recommend this book and the whole series.

Mack, a former fire fighter who had been severely burned and was badly scarred, found his way to Mustang Mountain where he now trains and races sled dogs and is pretty isolated except for his group of male friends. He has closed off his heart fearing no woman could ever love his scarred and broken body and soul.
Lily is the owner of a catering business and is the woman matchmaker Ruby has chosen for Mack. They are brought together to work on some fund raiser activities for the town. They have an interesting connection because Lily is a woman who does not pity, but admires him for his courageous spirit and his care for others. This book is a great example that real love sees with the heart, not just the eyes!
The bonus epilogue is a treat. I really enjoyed this story and this series!
May is for Mack is book 5 in the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain series. Mack is a former military man who was hurt during his last tour and carries scars, both on his heart and on his body. He meets Lily during a fundraiser while he is in full costume and she instantly likes him. When they're thrust together again for another event, but Mack doesn't have the safety of a costume covering his scars, he tries to get Lily to leave him alone but she wants to show him that his scars only show the battle and bravery he has to survive. A little instalove, a little OTT, this is a fast paced romance where the man falls first. I loved the little snippets of real when neither knows what to expect or do because they havent dated in so long. Sweet story and ready for the next entry!.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
It was a good instalove story and I liked the characters. I thought it interesting that the cover model is only showing the left side of his face, i.e., the character's unburned side-- it was a safe choice. Also I found it interesting but concerning that Mack (and apparently the townspeople) is so blase and unconcerned about a wolf running around that Mack tells Lily she can pet it, rather than keeping a healthy distance. Wolves are predators and should be respected as such (where I'm coming from: a number of years ago, I lived near a place with a wolf reserve with unsocialized wolves. One day, one of the workers went into the enclosed compound after everyone else had left and the wolves killed her. They still don't know why she went in, nor why they attacked).

I enjoyed Mack and Lily. Mack is such a sad character starting to out because of how he views himself following a situation when he’s a firefighter. Unfortunately the world has helped feed that view and makes him feel unworthy of love. In comes Lily, the feisty caterer who feels a deep connection to him even before fully seeing his face. She doesn’t back down and works hard to make him comfortable and to see what she sees when she looks at him. It won’t be a smooth ride though since her dreams seem destined to take her out of the small town that has made Mack feel at home for the first time in his life. Good character development, spicy scenes, sweet moments, and a happy ending that was better than expected.

Mack and Lily are set up to work together on a fundraiser together for a local women’s shelter. They met before at the Easter celebration and neither has been able to forget the other. Lily has been working at getting her catering business up and running and now is thinking of expanding. The more time she spends with Mack the more she falls for him but yet she doesn’t want to give up her dream. Spending time with Lily has Mack feeling calmer about his life but he feels he’s not good enough for Lily and it’s only a matter of time before she leaves like everyone else in his pas has. Another rest read in this series. Mack and Lily are great together. Lily is perfect for Mack and sees past his scars and sees him for the incredible man he is. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I love this series and the MC series that follows it. Mack is a retired fireman with trauma and burns. He is sweet and awkward and cinnamon roll all over. After he and Lily connect and fall in love she leaves him to start a bigger catering company. Given how vulnerable and loving Mack is in his story it was hard for me to be interested in the book after Lily discards him for an upgrade in a career that is, as far as I could tell in the book, doing very well. Lily started off as so incredibly empathetic and loving and the pivot to leaving for financial security that she didn’t seem to need beyond what she already had just fell flat for me. This plot line disappointed me but I love this series as a whole and I will definitely read the rest!
May is for Mack is the fifth book in the new series Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain created by multiple authors. This is a short, steamy insta-love romance with a good storyline, intense characters and a happily ever after.
Life hasn’t easy for Lily and Mack. They both have had to work very hard to achieve their personal and business goals. Life throws them a curve when they meet. The attraction between them was instant and intense. Can Lily break through Mack’s thick emotional walls? Can Mack help Lily see that they are strong together then apart? Read it and find out.
Very enjoyable quick read! It just goes to show that open, honest communication is the solution to all problems.

This was a wonderful, quick book that I enjoyed! This is part of an interconnected series but can be read as a standalone. This book focuses on Mack and Lily. Mack is a former firefighter with some serious scars - inside and out. He is a loner on the mountain and rarely talks to people because of his scars. When he meets Lily, he wants to get to know her better. Lily likes the idea of getting to know Mack better but recognizes that it will be a process. This book was a fantastic read. All of the characters were likable and interesting. I loved how the characters all worked together; it really showed a sense of community. It was great having everyone come together for different things!.
