What a debut for a start to this series. Garell has written a masterful portrayal of the things that cause nightmares, breathing life into fear in a way that turns the pages in a desperate need to see how it will all end. Whenever I had a hole to read, I sat down for it. I just wanted to know if she was going to make it? I really enjoyed this book; it was descriptive, intense, and just a little creepy. It reminded me of David Clark's books.

I absolutely loved this book! The main characters were extremely well written. I love getting to know them. The supporting characters were distinct, each with their own personalities. The story itself was engaging and extremely well written- I couldn't put it down. I can't wait for the rest of the trilogy. If you like darker novels, I highly recommend this Bune!.

this was a strong start to the Godhead Trilogy series, it had everything that I was looking for. Mariah Thayer has a great writing style that left me looking for more. I enjoyed getting to know the characters and thought it worked well overall. I'm excited to read more in this series and from the author.

This is an eye opening, constantly shifting, crazy intense ride. This skill of this author is fantastic. The detail of the world their created is phenomenal. The characters are amazing to get to know and watch change as the story goes along. So many times did I think it was coming to a close and then I would look at how much I had left and I would wonder what could be next. And I was not prepared for what came next. This is a truly captivating book that drags your entire consciousness along for the ride. Truly fabulous read.
