ANASTACIA

As far as I’m concerned, my heart has one job, and one job only: to stay in my chest and keep me alive. The last thing I’ve ever wanted to do is relinquish it to a man.

But that’s exactly the predicament I’ve found myself in. Asked to give up my heart.

First, by my father, and now, by Lorenzo Ricci — the one man with whom signing a marriage certificate means avoiding all-out war between our families.

The one man I’ve been promised to since birth.

The one man I can’t stand.

LORENZO
I usually let my bullets do the talking, but even a woman as unruly as Anastacia Fedorov requires a gentler touch. And I’m going to need her alive if this union is to extend our fathers’ truce.

But when our fierce friction starts a blaze neither of us saw coming, it suddenly seems this betrothal will be far less of a sacrifice than we ever imagined.

Problem is, in our world “happily ever after” is something you take, not something you’re given.

And whoever’s out to get ours will stop at nothing until we’re both destroyed.

Im gonna start with honesty….. this book was written in a way I hadn’t seen done often & I wasn’t used to it. Therefore, causing a little doubt. BUT, as soon as I adapted and fully embodied the beauty and elegant way Samantha executed this writing style, combined with the phenomenal storytelling of Lorenzo and Anastacia’s unequivocal and undeniable love—it was pure fucking magic! My face hurt from the permanent smile plastered on my face majority of this book. I love a good soulmate feel. When the characters fire personalities, passion and desire emulate familiarity; like they’ve done this dance in another life. I’d die for Lorenzo, good god that man! His heart beat for Ana and you felt the rhythm of it! & Ana was the strongest, realest, most raw and authentic FMC I’ve ever read. Badass, brave & genuine to her core.
I LOVED THIS DAMN BOOK SO FREAKING MUCH!!! All the feels!

I received an ARC for a voluntary review

This book contains trigger warnings, please head authors advice.

An agreement was made between the Fedorov and Ricci families. From the age of eighteen Anastacia was made aware that her hand has been promised to none other than Lorenzo, at twenty one she is expected to marry her betrothed.

We they meet for the first time, Lorenzo can’t help but be captivated by Anastacia’s beauty, and she by his. However every interaction with each other is volatile, they push each other’s buttons, pushing the other’s limits, there pulses racing, the heat behind their words, electrifying, they hate to love, and love to hate.

There is no denying the attraction between them. Anastacia gives everything she has to offer, yet time and again Lorenzo throws her kindness back in her face, to the point that she is done. Yet it his family that knock some sense into him does he gain perspective on what he has been missing out on.

On the night of their engagement, everything changes between them. They come to accept that they were both at fault for how they acted towards each other leading to a night of pure unbridled passion and he claims her innocence.

They continue to grow and develop in their relationship, learning about each other, their wants and needs. Once they accepted each other for who they were, they found their happiness. And together they share with each other those all important three words that solidify their love for each other.

Their wedding day and reception is one only can dream of, it was beautiful and perfect. Their honeymoon destination was the perfect getaway for the newlyweds as they made the most of their time together.

But it’s back to reality, only for it to change in the blink of an eye as an accident derails them. Lorenzo and their families are angered, emotions run high, fingers are pointed, blame in layed, every resource they have at there disposal they utilise and still they cannot locate her, but by happenstance they get the reprieve they need.

When Lorenzo learn who was responsible, he is livid. When he finds Anastacia, his heart is broken in two at the conditions she suffered in. Lorenzo is ropeable, and he does the only thing he knows how, exacting his own brand of justice against the people responsible for hurting his wife.

But the one who is hurting more is Anastacia. There is a wedge between them. All she wants is her husband, yet he can’t look at her, all he sees are his failures, treating his wife like fragile glass. But what is more devastating is the loss of her grandmother. Her world is crashing down around her and the one person she wants isn’t there.

Yet again it his own family that continues to suffer his anger, but they quickly put him in his place once he sees the error of his ways. That he becomes the man he needs to be for his wife, in her moment of grief does he give her the strength to stand and she couldn’t be more happier.

Anastacia misses Lorenzo and the connection between them. She is done. He begs her for forgiveness, yet there is none to give, for they both took different approaches to deals with the pain that they were both feeling, ultimately bringing them back to each other. Does Anastacia demand from him the only thing he can give her, a night of pure unadulterated love making.

Yet a family holiday to Austria, brings forth an unexpected surprise neither anticipated, when Anastacia begins connecting things together, and learns the truth does she share with Lorenzo that they are pregnant. He is over the moon and couldn’t be any more happier, along with there families on this joyous occasion.

Yet Lorenzo proves that he is the man that Anastacia married. He is there for her throughout every step of her pregnancy journey, his love for her is magnified through the lives of the children she carries with in her and he cannot be more in awe of her strength and resilience. For the birth of there daughter and son is bittersweet, yet the time jump into there future, and the unexpected news that they’re expecting again, their happily ever after couldn’t be more perfect than that.

This story is told from dual POV, we get to see the growth and development of these characters through there strengths and weaknesses, what we see and feel shapes these characters, giving readers insight to who they are flaws and all, that they are in fact humans who all feel but handle what happened to them differently.

This book has it all dark mafia romance, one dominant alpha male, a heroine who can hold her own giving as good as she gets, madness, mayhem, revenge, vengeance, violence, defiance, manipulation, adrenaline seeking suspense, jealousy, twists, truths and betrayal.

The tension between them was undeniable, she was very responsive to him from the beginning, he was as much in tune with her as she was with him, the friction burning hot between, making way for those s*x scenes which were blazing hot, downright dirty and physical, it had all the pleasure and passion one would expect giving his Anastacia the pain and pleasure she deserves, it was off the charts and had all of the feels.

Highly recommend both author and book!

Rollercoaster!

Lorenzo and Anastacia are in an arranged marriage but they are like water and oil. Neither are happy with the situation at all.

Anastacia is a kickass saint! She does try to push against the marriage, but she also tries her best to understand Lorenzo. She likes to push others, almost to the point of provoking them, and to stand her ground but also knows when to be cordial. Anastacia also has a big heart and will anything for her family. She isn’t garos to be vulnerable with her friends and family but will not show any weakness to her enemies or when we she doesn’t not want others to worry about her.

Lorenzo is a piece of work! He definitely does things that you shake your head at and want to throttle some sense into, but he does get enough of that from his guys, parents, and Ana’s family and friends whenever he reacts poorly to Ana. He does go through a bit of self turmoil though because all of this is new to him and he really embodies the saying, “you are your own worst enemy.” But Lorenzo does love deeply and shows how far he is willing to go to ensure Ana is protected and
cared for and to make up for any hurt he causes. He is definitely ruthless to his enemies and to anyone who dares harm Ana in any way.

The two of them definitely have a tumultuous relationship but eventually work through these issues and show how connected they are. They definitely complement each other and you root for them despite everything.

The side characters also are entertaining! Red, Gino, and Emmet (and Nicolo) respect Lorenzo but aren’t afraid to share their opinions with him. They have his back and he has theirs. Tay and Robin are Ana’s besties and also show how well they know their girl. Miles as Ana’s brother is protective and allows her to stretch her wings, and Ana’s parents definitely treasure her. Lorenzo’s parents are a fun pair and will also not let things slide.

The story itself focuses on the relationship between Lorenzo and Ana with a little mafia action sprinkled in. I didn’t mind this much though since I enjoyed reading about how their relationship developed, and it does feel like you go in a journey with them. The character art is also a nice touch.

Overall, this was an engaging read, and I wonder what else is in store.

You have to read this one!!
I can’t even express how I loved this book, it was everything for me. The book is a spicy mafia romance with the arranged marriage trope🫶🏼Basically THE DREAM lol. I knew I would adore Lorenzo and Anastacia since the beginning of the first chapters. They are at the same time strong and stubborn like hell, but Anastacia is something more than she is kind. I like the way the author has portrayed her, as a strong woman who calls you on your bullshit*, but also a woman with a kind heart who loves deeply. I also enjoyed the development of Lorenzo's character and the way he really accepted his feelings and expressed them. I will always cherish their love story. Can’t wait to order this brilliant book and the thing I’m even more excited is when another one will be published.🫶🏼

🧚🏼‍♀️ The book will become available for purchase as of March 27, 2023.🧚🏼‍♀️

Thank you so much Samantha for the story that I loved and I couldn't even stop reading.💗 And also thank you for sending me this book as an Arc book, I loved every second and art was the cherry on the cake. 💗

My fav part:

“I know you aren’t a massive fan of jewellery, but I wanted to get you my initial.” I smiled as she glanced at the gift she held between her thumb and forefinger.

“Why your initial?” she teased, snaking her hands around my waist. Her chin rested on my chest as she gazed up at me, a stray tear clinging to her lashes.

“Because even if I’m never in your heart, I know this is the closest I can get.”

“But you are.” She let out a shaky breath.

“Say that again.” A lump formed in my throat as Ana allowed the tear to trickle down her cheek.

You need to read this if you’re looking for a dark mafia romance with the arrange marriage and he falls first trope.

Words cannot express how much I love this book ✨available March 27th✨

Lorenzo is dark, stubborn and broody, but once he loves, he loves HARD. Once he and Ana became closer, he stopped at nothing to show her that she was everything to him.

Anastacia is stubborn, more so than Lorenzo, and she’s by far the best book woman I’ve read about.

Their entire story is immaculate. The way the story was portrayed was amazing. The character development of Lorenzo was top fricking tier, and I couldn’t have pictured him any other way.

And the epilogue was written perfectly, giving you insight to them a few years later and omg, just slap me silly, I love them so much.

I cannot wait for the second story to be out!!

Having read about these characters on another platform, I couldn’t wait to read about them in book form and the novel didn’t disappoint. The novel was well written and I absolutely loved the illustrations which were included. The relationship between Ana and Lorenzo despite being an arranged marriage was brilliantly paced and heartwarming, they didn’t like each other to begin with but their feelings developed, they needed each other to overcome the betrayal to come and difficulties that resulted from this betrayal. I will definitely read more books by Samantha.

Love-Me-Always-by-Samantha-Jayne-1

Anastasia was promised to marry Lorenzo. In their world of organized crime, the couple had no choice but to marry each other. Otherwise, that would mean war. This marriage can either make the two families’ relationship strong or break it.

Lorenzo is determined to make his fiancé hate him. He can’t love or open up to anyone, as it will mean weakness, but this woman is getting under his skin. Anastasia promised to never give her heart to the rude, ruthless man her father decided to marry her to. Even when he makes her equally pissed off and turned on.

They will need to work things out because this arranged marriage is a forever thing. Their lives will be easier if they learn to open up to one another sooner rather than later.

Love-Me-Always-by-Samantha-Jayne-2

This is a dark romance features mafia, arranged marriage, and enemies-to-lovers tropes. It’s also the first book in the Love Me series. The male character falls first and is a dominating, jealous and ruthless man who meets his match with a woman who gives as much as she takes. It has a few triggering topics, so make sure you read the warning before diving blindly.

Love-Me-Always-by-Samantha-Jayne-3

I’m not sure about this book. It seems to be moving forward slowly that didn’t keep me engaged. Something was missing and I couldn’t care about the characters. The way all of his men were on her side right away felt forced. But I enjoyed how they slowly worked things out between them. Anastacia is a tough woman who is stubborn and determined, and Lorenzo is ten times more stubborn. But their dynamics worked out for them.

Love-Me-Always-by-Samantha-Jayne-5

I liked the illustrations. They added more to this book and showed the characters in a cute way. It was a pleasant touch to this book. One thing I didn’t enjoy was the way everyone keeps talking in exclamation. It gets annoying when every sentence ends with an exclamation mark. There were some typos too.

Love-Me-Always-by-Samantha-Jayne-4

It seemed lacking somehow in the way it was delivered, which is why I am rating it three stars. The plot and the characters are great but the way it’s been written fell flat and didn’t stir me as much as I thought it would. Sure, there are all the steamy scenes and cute swoony moments that most will find enjoyable. Still, much of the plot was predictable.

⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was asked to read this book for an honest quote....

This book was about an arranged marriage between a mafia family.

I feel this book could do with a bit more building with the charters emotions so I can connect a bit more and feel what they are feeling.

Other than that, I do like Anastacia. She is soft yet a bad ass.

I didnt like lorenzo at the start as expected but as the story went on he grew on me, I think I would of liked him more if I new a bit more as to why he acted like this other then just wanting to be Don.

I love that the Kindle book has a couple of pictures of them through which makes imagining how the author seen them amazing.

I feel some of the choices of vocabulary could be changed for better words, and there are some parts that have too much detail and other parts I felt needed more.

The ending was predictable but very sweet and a nice way to finish off the book

Review: SO GOOD! I’m not sure if the physical book has the pictures but I LOVED that aspect I always want to know what the main characters look like but you can never really put the same image in your head as the author so I really loved that they started appearing in this book. I really enjoyed the flow of this book too it was a little more than your average Grumpy X sunshine but it worked for this type of book. It was a mafia style romance but it didn’t really have much of the killer mafia that these type of books normally have which I am ok with it was the perfect amount honestly it really based on Ana and Lorenzo. I liked that it was a stand alone too.

Thank you @samanthajayne.writes and Sanguis Press for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Holy.

THIS. DAMN. BOOK!
Samantha Jayne, what have you done to me?! But also, thank you? lol

Okay. Okay. Let me start off by saying I very rarely read Mafia Romance books, like I can not remember the last one I read…it was probably at least 5 to 6 years ago? Maybe? Maybe longer. Yes, I know, crazy. But this book, I could not put it down for the life of me. Whether I was waiting for my computer to load, or I was making dinner, or waiting for my kid after school, I just couldn't put it down. And this is a big deal because, to be honest I went into this one not overly excited because it wasn't something I'd normally read. Then, after only a COUPLE of pages, I knew I was royally screwed and that my life for the next day or two no longer belonged to me. It belonged to Ana and Lorenzo. And I'm perfectly okay with that.

Love Me Always ignited something in me. What? A new found love for Mafia Romance, that's what! Gah! This story and the characters pulled me in and held on tight, never letting me go. It was dark and violent, spiiiiicy af, had some funny moments—Ana KNOWS how to push all of Lorenzo's buttons and it was so fun to watch it play out. Granted, he wasn't very nice to her to start with, even when she tried to extend an olive branch. Basically, the man was stubborn as hell, but Ana was as well. They were the perfect pairing, balancing one another out. They were each other's better half, twin flames, soulmates… Endgame. This one also had me on the edge of my seat towards the end because ya know, what's a Mafia Romance without a kidnapping! But Ana, that girl is a badass queen and the way she handled herself *chef's kiss* Also, let me just say this: I agreed with Lorenzo, I never trusted him for second.

If you love:
💫 Enemies to Lovers
💫 He Falls First
💫 Forced Proximity
💫 Arranged Marriage
💫 Dark Romance
💫 Mafia Romance

Then Love Me Always is a book you will want to read asap! It does not end on a cliffhanger, only a happy ending here! The cover also says this is book 1 so I'm really curious who and what book 2 will be about and when can I have it? Haha. Not gonna lie, I'm kinda hoping Lorenzo's men get books of their own cause I'm a fan of them and want more.

I can't end this without mentioning one last thing. The graphics added to this story at the end of various chapters were absolutely GORGEOUS! I've never read a book that had something like it and I loved it so much. It really painted the picture of the story and who Ana and Lorenzo were—and they were exactly what I pictured before I saw their picture. Also, am I the only one who pictured Megan Fox for Ana?

Thank you Fallen Crest Crew and Samantha Jayne for allowing me a copy of Love Me Always, I loved every page and couldn't be happier and thrilled to have received this ARC!

"𝙁𝙪𝙘𝙠 𝙗𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨. 𝙄'𝙢 𝙖𝙡𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮 𝙖 𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙪𝙘𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙚𝙣."
Could a Russian mafia (queen) really hate an Italian mafia prince any more than she already did? Anastacia never wanted to get married, but with the arrangement set in stone before she was even born, she didn’t have a choice. She had to marry Lorenzo the stubborn, hot-headed Italian who assumed she’d back down in every clash between them. But Anastacia surprised him at every turn, standing her ground no matter what he threw her way. From the moment he laid eyes on her, Lorenzo swore he’d never fall for her. But could he actually resist her fire?

Anastacia is such an amazing character. She’s strong, fierce, and absolutely refuses to let anyone walk over her. However, I wish she’d made Lorenzo grovel even more and forgave him less. But the banter between them? So good. It kept their chemistry alive, creating that slow burn that made every interaction electric.

"𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙄'𝙡𝙡 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙠𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙡 𝙩𝙤."
"𝘼𝙣𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙖, 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙢𝙮 𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙜𝙖𝙢𝙚."

Now, Lorenzo…what a character. Stubborn, hot-headed, and constantly in denial about his feelings for Ana because he saw them as a weakness (men 🙄)
And the result? He kept messing things up again and again, to the point where I wanted to smack him to wake him up! But, his dirty mouth and that hidden soft side for Ana made up for all of that. Watching him transform from the scary mafia man into a total softie just for her? I was absolutely here for it.

And oh my god, the plot twist I didn’t see it coming. Just when I thought things were calm, the story flipped, hitting me with twists It was honestly a thrill.

The side characters were the cherry on top. They added this family like warmth, standing up for Ana whenever Lorenzo acted was a jerk and making the whole story feel so much heartwarming. Their bond felt so genuine, and the way they supported Ana was cute.

The art in the book? Beautiful! It captured every intense moment and every glance, bringing their undeniable chemistry to life. The author did such a good job crafting such a dynamic, passionate story. The characters, the drama, the twists everything was phenomenal!

Where do I start with this book!
I absolutely love it! I wish I could read it for the first time again.
There is so much elements that you have to re-read and some bits that will make you giggle.
I love the character developments.
Such as Lorenzo with hard exterior but you know when loves. He loves hard & his love for Ana is out of this world. He was frustrating at the start & it’s like ‘come on Lorenzo stop being an idiot’ but then you think about it he’s never had to deal with his feelings and his fighting what he truly feels

Anastasia is also stubborn & loves to wind up Lorenzo but eventually she just wants to live peaceful so she decides to and try to get along with Lorenzo and who know she may fall in love. She is definitely not your typical mafia princess and doesn’t act like a princess. I love how respectful she is to her Father Victor and you can see they have a special bond. Her love for her family & friends is amazing & I love how she puts her and Lorenzo difference aside to create at a friendship with Lorenzo to make their lives much easier even though Lorenzo was being an complete ass.

I absolutely love the side characters like Red and Gino. Especially Red he so funny but do not mess with him. The men’s caring spirt for Lorenzo and Ana relationship so beautiful and always offering support where they can especially slapping sense into Lorenzo.

I do love a good villain & Chad got on my right nerve. I ready to get ready of him for time he entered the booked but he’s chapters were really good like he was going to get away it. (Never)

The author really out done herself with this story and the art scenes are amazing because you get to see her vision of their characters. What each special moment looked like for example the engagement scene, the date scene. I didn’t want the book to end!

This story starts learning of Anastasia and Lorenzo and the arranged marriage. It makes you feel for her and sympathise. She doesn't want to go through with it.

Neither of them want this marriage. Lorenzo comes across as ruthless, while we just know that Ana will not be a pushover. She's strong and sassy and will give Enzo a run for his money. She seems to have a rebellious streak.

Their fighting and verbal assault against each other is great. She doesn't back down, and he doesn't either, but not once does her get physical. They will yell and scream, and you just know that it's all sexual tension, and when it explodes, there's going to be fireworks!

His men have all gone soft for her. They seem to be close enough to him to scold him for treating her terribly

They both knew the marriage was happening, but they fought it. I enjoyed the writing style and how descriptive it could be. There were times, though, that I felt there were too many words. Some sentences could have been cut out. There were a couple of editing issues, but nothing too problematic.

I enjoyed how we got to see Enzo grow and learn about love through Ana. She was a strong character, and I just wish we had been able to see her in action a little more.

The premise of this storyline was relatable, and despite the darkness of it, i appreciated that we got to experience all the emotions that people go through when something horrible happens. We got to see how they both worked through things only to come out stronger at the end.

These two ended up being perfect for each other, and I'm glad we got to see a piece of their future as well. Really well done with this book, I can't wait to read more by this author

"ARC REVIEW"

Rating: 4 out of 5
Spiciness: 2.5 out of 5

It’s been a while since I’ve read a mafia romance and I’m so glad that this is one (given by the Fallen Crest crew) was definitely an enjoyable read.

Initial thoughts: I like it when a book grabs your attention by its dedication and it’s customized playlist.

I love our fmc, Anastasia Fedorov. She is such a firecracker. Strong, witty and my favorite thing about her besides her name, she’s not your typical bratty mafia princess. She’s such a down to earth person, and she could certainly take a man as arrogant as Lorenzo Ricii, down to earth on his knees.

Anastacia and Lorenzo have been fixed to be married since they were kids to strengthen alliances between their families. So, it’s absolutely no shocker that both stubborn people such as Anastacia and Lorenzo would butt heads from the day they met. If she’s a firecracker, he’s the match that ignites her spark.

Though I did find Lorenzo’s hot-cold attitude a bit tiresome after a while, he redeems himself when he finally realizes he’s been treating Ana wrongly and makes amends.

Now, another thing I like about this book (and it is an absolute first for me) is that IT HAS IT’S OWN ILLUSTRATIONS! It’s not a hard time now imagining what our author pictured in her mind.

The plot and writing are pretty straightforward enemies-to-lovers arranged marriage with a hint of mafia. One letdown for me was this book being called a “Dark Mafia Romance” but it focused more on the romance than being a dark mafia book. I didn’t find anything dark about it and the only mafia parts were about their families and the torture scenes were mild compared to my expectations.

Love Me Always Review

Couple: Anastacia Fedorov & Lorenzo Ricci

Author: Samantha Jayne

Tropes: mafia romance, dark romance, arranged marriage, enemy to lover, forced proximity

Review: I read this book through Fallen Crest on IG and it did not disappoint. It is a dual POV arranged marriage romance that has everything! The book toggles from past to present and then picks up at the time of their marriage.

Anastacia is the Fedorov family princess and is super reluctant to join Lorenzo in the marriage. I loved how strong willed she was and how independent. I thought the development of her character and how resilient she was throughout the whole book really spoke to the relationship she forged with Lorenzo and I liked how she was always quick to fix her messes.

Lorenzo on the other hand is a man who refuses to show weakness and that includes any developing feelings for his wife. I hated and loved his character since he is hurtful to Ana at first. It was hard to hate him though since we see how conflicted and remorseful he is in his chapters.

What really made this book great was the connection and growth these two had. While there is instant heat and tension, the spice is slow to develop and both characters deny feelings for a long time. However, this makes it so they learn to work together and lean on one another.

For anyone who loves mafia tropes this one is for you and will not disappoint!

Rating: 100+, I LOVED THESE TWO!

Enemies to lovers with marriage of convenience is my favorite trope.
I've read plenty from this pool.
Yet this!!!,
This triumph them all.
Because personally, what I love the most about a well written romance book. Is the Romance and this book has it in ALL
..... You get so much of the main characters together, the enemies, the lovers , so many moments, the swoony sweet bittersweet realistic moments you relate to , yet still wrapped in the fictionality of the mafia world.
Everything made me fall in love with evey word and want more at the same time.

-"𝓑𝓾𝓽 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓪𝓻𝓮.”
-“𝓢𝓪𝔂 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓪𝓰𝓪𝓲𝓷.”

I just can't wait to read the next book, that will include a different couple, that I may or may not have read a few chapters of.
But still can't wait to read more of this world. Because I know Samantha Jayne knows how to deliver a good Mafia that will keep you on your toes but also leave you satisfied.

🥀Tropes:🥀

🥀 Arranged marriage
🥀 Italian mafia X Russian Mafia
🥀Bad-a$$ heroine
🥀He falls the hardest❤️

Honestly when they said marriage of convenience and forced proximity i jumped right into it...but Lorenzo Ricci is a huge asshole with no remorse...i dont understand what is his problem...coz i know too much about how made men think how they hide their feelings and all that bullshit to appear strong and what not...but Lorenzo down right took it into new levels..i didn't like how he treated her even after she came clean on her feelings and he told her he felt the same like really dude...you had one thing to do..and he fucking left her when she wanted him the most...all for what coz he was such a baby to deal with emotions...i call bullshit here grow some fucking balls already... their security detail had more care and remorse for than him....and the worst part is him trying to convience himself and her that he will not do that again i mean i wouldn't trust me again i don't know how ana did....she was a complete confusing character for me...she was trying to be a badass but..forgets when she actually has to behave that way...oh no all the sharp mouth and strong personality comes only when they are having a completely stupid arguments it was so frustrating to read....one thing i like in this book is the art...it was a very pleasant surprise and i like how they showed the important scenes in those arts...

I think this was the first Mafia Romance story in which the Female Lead's Dad is too sweet. That was one of the thousand reasons why I loved this book so much.

Anastacia - Trust me she's a savage and knows how to treat her man. Definitely this woman doesn't need a king to be a queen because she can conquer the whole world and have all the kings wrapped around her finger tips. She is the female version of her man's character as well. Damn... I just enjoyed reading so much about her.

Lorenzo - As much as he tried to keep his girl at an arms distance, she made sure he wrapped her in his arms and embraced her. The ego he held was fantastic to read and when all his ego was shattered into pieces each time his love for her over powered was beyond amazing to read.

After a long time reading a books with pictures made me emotional. I truly loved pictures books as a child and now being able to read it after these many years as an Adult made me just cherish this book.

The Epilogue... Was fabulous. Anastacia and Lorenzo had lots of struggle, they did deserve that happily ever after with lovely bunch of children to share the love.

Thanks a ton for this incredible book @samanthajayne.writes My stomach dipped many times reading this love filled ARC

✨ARC Review✨

Anastacia is the daughter of a Mafia Dom, and as such, she was promised for marriage at birth. The marriage is supposed to keep the alliance between the two families.
But neither Ana nor her fiance Lorenzo want this marriage and they hate each other. Will Lorenzo continues to make Ana's life a living hell, she decides to give him a chance. While she keeps reaching out an olive branch, Lorenzo can't stop trying to make her hate him. But they both realize that they want each other. Can they keep hating each other or is the attraction they feel too much?

This book is an arranged marriage mafia romance filled with tension and suppressed feelings.
I love Ana's sass and how she isn't this sweet defenseless girl. But I hoped she would hold onto her grudge a little longer.
Lorenzo is of course an a** most of the time, but it was nice to see him go soft on Ana. I actually quite enjoyed their relationship and how they interacted.
I was confused with how some parts were written and so I was pulled out of the story multiple times. Also some conversations just felt forced.
The tension and the spicy scenes were done well and most off the banter felt natural.

All in all that's a good 3 star read in my opinion.

⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 rounded up to a 4
This book definitely took me by surprise and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I absolutely loved Anastacia’s personality and her fiery attitude. Her defiance towards Lorenzo was top tier; I loved how she took no shit from him🫶 I do wish we got to see her fighting skills more often, but maybe that’s just my liking for violence in books😅
Lorenzo on the other hand, wasn’t my favourite MMC. His attitude wasn’t morally grey like I usually enjoy, it was just straight up immaturity. I can’t figure out why he was like that. He was so disrespectful throughout, and even to his parents, who were portrayed to be good people (with the exception of being in the mafia LOL). I was more into Red than Lorenzo, at least Red had some sense!! I really hope we get a book with him, maybe even with one of the friends ideally😍
This author is definitely a different writing style then what I am used to, she definitely has a liking for exclamation points (like myself), but I found they confused me with there placement at times, and I had a hard time deciphering the actual emotions of what was going on because of them.
Overall, really enjoyed this book and I’m hoping to see some more stories of Lorenzo’s guys and Anastacia’s girls🤗

An absolute must read!!!
It’s a dark mafia romance with Ana our Fierce Fmc and Lorenzo our Alpha Mmc
This was phenomenal read and I didn’t want it to end.🥰 Ana and Lorenzo’s love story wasn’t an easy journey in the beginning, but through out the story their relationship blossomed into something neither one of them anticipated. It was written beautifully. I had so many emotions throughout the story. The characters had me in my feelings. It was a wild ride along with outside forces threatening their happy ever after.

✨The author Samantha does a great job portraying her characters. I enjoy her writing style. She also had beautiful art illustrations added within the story. ✨

Love Me Always by Samantha Jayne completely surprised me! I honestly was having a hard time liking Ana in the beginning, I thought she played games, & did whatever she wanted. She fought Lorenzo at every turn. But then all of a sudden I was almost halfway through & my opinion of her changed completely. Lorenzo was your typical alpha- a controlling & protective mafia guy. These 2 fought so much at the beginning, but they were also so much alike. Neither wanted a marriage, Ana swore growing up she’d never fall in love & give her heart away. Lorenzo didn’t want a wife either, he swore their marriage would only be on paper & as a business agreement between their fathers so he could take over for his dad as the Don. He wanted someone that could give him a run for his money, & he didn’t think Ana would be that woman- & he was so very wrong!
I almost wanted to quite & I’m so glad I didn’t because I ended up really enjoying this book. I loved the side characters, Red & his humor were a great addition & I loved how supportive both parents were & wanted Lorenzo & Ana’s marriage to work.
I definitely recommend this book!

This was such a great read! I'm a huge fan of Mafia romance as well as arranged marriage and enemies-to-lovers. I was sucked into the story straight away for obvious reasons.

This story will take you on such a rollercoaster ride from the second the main characters meet for the first time. The hostility and anger can be felt between them despite having an almost instant attraction to each other. The character development for both Ana and Lorenzo is just *chefs kiss* Their verbal sparring is also so freaking good! I love that they push each other to almost madness. Watching them fall in love across the pages was just so beautifully written and I couldn't have enjoyed it more. We also can't forget all the delicious spice thrown it. It had me panting and fanning myself with the undeniable chemistry! All in all, this was a fantastic story, and I would highly recommend this to my dark romance girlies.

Don’t know how the author did it, but she gave us a cute, spicy, gory, arranged marriage, mafia read. Ana is told she has been promised to a mafia don’s son since birth. When the pair finally meet, Lorenzo is quick to let the darling Bratva’s daughter know she’s a means to and end for him. He pretty much tells her she’s only good for an heir, but in a really nasty way. So this starts their engagement.
Neither one are happy, there’s lots of yelling from Lorenzo which I laughed at. There’s the BA Ana who gently reminds him she knows how to use a knife. Adversity is thrown their way and they have to decide if it will bring them together or tear them apart. They’re destined for great love for sure!
Please check trigger warnings for book. Also the pictures in the book are super cute and a nice surprise. I feel like this book sits at a 4.5.
Also I really hope we get Ana friends’ stories.

The moment I saw the tropes, I immediately picked this book up but unfortunately it disappointed me. The first few chapters really held my interest and the banter between the main characters was perfect considering it had an enemies to lovers trope but then the characters' actions got annoying. Lorenzo was such a fucking asshole for no reason. His constant push and pull behaviour gave me whiplash. Anastasia was strong at first but her stubbornness and inability to accept things that were put for her own safety got on my nerves. She tried to look badass but came off as a whiny bitch instead. After that point, I could not feel the chemistry between them until the very last chapters tbh. Not to mention, the plot twist and the culprit was so predictable. I feel like I've wasted my time reading this. The only extra star is for the epilogue because it was so cute, otherwise it was just a one star read for me.

(Thank you Peachy Keen and the author Samantha Jayne for the eARC in exchange for a spoiler free review)

Please read the content warnings.

3.5 stars!

This book is a first from this author.

I can never get tired of mafia books no matter how many I read because the arranged marriage trope is interesting, most of the time. In this book it was written well!

I always wondered how an arranged marriage would be because I know I won’t be happy in it. But Anastacia and Lorenzo made it work even though they did not get along at some points in the book. They make arranged marriage look like something you can be happy in.

I loved Ana’s spitfire personality; it made their connection stronger and Lorenzo being the one who falls first made their love story even sweeter.

Special appreciation for the cover as well, it is so pretty!
