Gabby Evanson can relate. Everything about her is average, including her job working at a public relations firm in New York City. But honestly, she spends most of her time daydreaming about the man of her Troy Taylor, a perfectly gorgeous actor who captures every woman's heart on and off the screen.
But then her average life gets turned upside down after Troy publicly insults an "average woman," and Gabby stumbles upon a meeting between her boss and Troy's manager. Gabby is convinced to go along with their plan for her to date Troy to help him win back his favor with the average women of America, and she finds herself in a dream come true with her dream man.
But when she meets Troy's best friend, Levi, she begins a journey of seeing herself the way God sees her and finding her dream man may not be exactly who she initially imagined he'd be.
What i Loved -the characters -enjoyed reading about the friendship troy shared with levi -The chemistry -spacing of romance -enough God involvement -the humor
Didn't enjoy -misunderstandings -the self pity and low self esteem of mc which didn't look like it got better towards the end but I understand that would take longer realistically
This book is so great! There were times I wanted to shake some sense into Gabby ouy of my own foolish life choices, which just made it more reliable and the ending so nice. This is a great example of why being unequally yolked is a bad idea and how a believing woman can struggle in that, but still honor God.
Very sweet story of Gabby torn between two men relying on her faith to make the right decision. This was a very wholesome romance and very enjoyable. It does have a happily ever after ending for everyone in the story.
A new author to me and I’ll read others by her. The Christian references were excellent. Would have loved to see more emphasis on prayer when decisions needed to be made. The lead characters were very believable and authentic. I really wanted the best for all of them.
Such a cute book! It was rec’d to me by my friend so I went into it blindly without reading the description and the plot twists were plot twisting! Loved this one
