With each simple entry, readers are treated to gentle reminders of truths of Scripture we often take for granted. The book is beautiful, and I will be looking at Susan Hill's books again in the future.

Just what I was looking for in a Lenten devotional book! Once my Mom glanced at it, she wanted a copy as well. Each day had a single Scripture verse to go with the day's theme, and then the author gave a brief reflection and words of encouragement. She closed each day with a brief prayer and lovely photographs and artwork, often highlighting the Bible verse or key thought.
This really helped me slow down and reflect during the season of Lent.
Daily themes included ... Simplicity, Quiet, Awe, Grace, Hope, and more.
I highly recommend!

This is a 40-day Easter devotional you can read from Ash Wednesday to Easter morning. It’s a call for you to quiet your mind and soul as you focus on Jesus and His resurrection. It was the perfect morning companion and I was happy to share it with a friend each day. It’s broken up by day and each day was just a few paragraphs so it’s easily digestible and can easily slot into your morning routine. It provides scriptures, and a prayer for each day too.
