About the author

Kristi Valiant is the children's book author/illustrator of the board books, No Bunny Like You (2024), Hoo’s There (2024), and Good Night, Cuddle Tight (2023), and the picture book, Penguin Cha-Cha. Kristi has illustrated many children’s books, including the award-winning, Cora Cooks Pancit, and children's books written by #1 New York Times bestselling author Danielle Steel. Kristi's books have received honors including a Starred Review from School Library Journal, the APALA Picture Book Award, and Bank Street Best Children's Books of the Year. This is such an adorable book. I read this to my youngest two grandkids when they spent the night and they loved it. Dad tucks his 9 baby bunnies into bed with a kiss and hug, but Honey gets up. She wants her own special cuddle from dad. After bouncing, pulling ears, and more silliness, they finally come up with their own special cuddle and she is ready for bed. The only problem is that her 8 siblings want their own special cuddle from dad. Will he ever get to go to bed? This was a fun book, and one that had some silliness before bed for us. After we decided on our own special cuddles, both kids finally settled down. The illustrations are wonderful. They are large, full of expression and colour and fun to look at. This is a fun bedtime story, and a wonderful book for dads to read to their little ones. It is a boardbook, but my 7 year old granddaughter enjoyed it as much as the 5 year old did. A great Easter book, book for a new baby or one for father's day. I know we will be reading this one again and certainly doing our special cuddles we came up with.

Too cute and adorable.

Being a mom, I know how important books are for my kid's development. My kid loves it so much.

Every night we snuggle and pick one book up. I didn't know I had this book in my shelf. When I noticed it and started reading the book, I called her to me. She came snuggling to me and We read it together. She loved it.

It didn't make her sleep 😅 coz she was so excited and hopping like bunnies in the book but I'm so grateful that these books are there for our night-time routine. It makes our night time very special.

I find this picture storybook so cute but also quite chaotic! Cos the story has parents with lots of active kids who just needs some cuddle time before they go to bed. Tired parents but they got to cuddle!
It’s cute and yes, they need the cuddles.

I find the story realistic and I love the facial expressions of all the characters! The art is amazing for this! The entire book is quite colourful and fun to read.

Whimsical illustrations with a cute color palette. The story is okay. The interactive nature of tickling and giggling seemed out of place. I thought it was way over the top for bedtime. However, for an infant this may work.

All the bunnies are tucked into bed but one honey bunny wants a special cuddle, she and her dad try many different things until they find the one that’s just right. Then as it’s time for sleep the others want one too, their own special hug.

This was so adorable, I loved it so much, it completely warmed my heart. The little bunnies were the cutest things ever, absolutely loved the way they were illustrated too, the cutest.

The story was so sweet and a perfect book before bedtime for any little one, a bunny wanting a special goodnight hug and kind parent that’s willing to find which is just right, I also loved that when the others wanted one he found the right one for them too. It just so precious and sweet.

I really enjoyed this sweet picture book and really do recommend it, it’s an easy and enjoyable book, the rhyming is fun to read and the characters are cute and illustrated so bright and beautifully. It’s a funny and dreamy sweet bedtime story.

First sentence: When daytime is over and moonlight shines bright, Dad hugs all his bunnies.

Premise/plot: This board book stars a lovely bunny family. The premise is simple: it is BEDTIME but the little bunnies have extra special requests that are putting off said bedtime. It starts with one....but leads to ALL the bunnies wanting a special, unique, just for them kind of bedtime hug/cuddle.

My thoughts: I thought this one was adorable. The illustrations are preciously adorable. Yet they are not so precious and cutesy that they miss out on humor or being relatable. One of my favorite scenes: "She grabs his ears and skips 'round to his back. 'Is this a good hug?' 'No, it's like an attack!'" The story is predictable enough, but this one has more story than you might suppose. In other words, it is not entirely dinky. There is an actual story that elevates it.

This adorable little story talks about how tiny Honey Bunny decides one night that she wants a special hug from her father.

But what kind of special hug? Ah, there's the rub - the two of them have to trial a whole bunch of different methods before they find the perfect cuddle for Honey. That too, without waking up Momma Bunny...

And just when Daddy Bunny thinks that he will finally get some sleep, the rest of the small bunnies all decide that each of them wants a special hug. One that's just for them!

The illustrations in this book are incredibly cute. Also, this is a lovely idea that parents will have fun customising with their own young children.

We absolutely loved this great new bedtime story. With wonderful illustrations by the
author Kristi Valiant you will fall in love for sure.

After putting all the little bunnies to bed Dad bunny is ready for bed himself. Honey,
the little bunny, has different plans. She wants to make a new cuddle before bed. She is definitely stalling. Soon the other 8 bunnies wanna join in the fun. Each bunny has a different cuddle.
This was an adorable adventure that my 3 - year - old
and I loved. It reminds us of our bed time fun. This was a great addition to our bedtime routine.
You will really enjoy. I highly recommend. 5 stars for sure.

This book was so fun to read! I read it to my boys (3 and 5 yos) and they laughed and thought that it was great! The illustrations were beautiful! There was fun rhyming and story plot! I loved that this story was centered around dad and his relationships with the children. Quick, fun and engaging read for littles! Kristi did an amazing job with story and would recommend this to all with littles!

The download was odd, the text and illustrations were broken up strangely and that did make me rate this book lower. I am hopeful that is fixed for future readers. Assuming that is fixed, this would make a great addition to the shelf and would make a great gift for an expecting family. 🤍

I was looking for new bedtime books for my 3 year old son and found this one. It's a story about a family of bunnies and the youngest one wakes up Dad asking for her very own special hug. It takes a few times but they finally find the right special hug. Next thing you know all the bunny children want their own special hug from Dad.

This is such a cute and funny story. The many ways they try a special hug will make you laugh.

An adorable picture book on baby bunnies and their hyper ness before bed. The dad bunny does his best to get his children calmed down before bedtime, showing attention to each and every kid. But that last page! - oh no, for Mama, who's sleeping? It's quirky and cute. Good Night, Cuddle Tight made me smile throughout as I read about each bunny's different routine before bed.

This is an adorable children's bedtime story with adorable pictures, rhymes and a wonderful heartwarming story. I loved how the story is perfect for both girls and boys. It is funny and I love that its not for a particular period of a time . It's perfect for reading time , bed time snuggles and as a gift.

This is an adorable, and relatable, story about a bunny who isn’t ready to go to bed and insists that their dad come up with a special way of saying good night to them. The ending made me laugh due to its relatability!

The illustrations are colorful and do a great job of showing what is happening in the story.

This is now in my three year old’s “favorite bedtime book” rotation!

This was a quick fun story about a dad bunny with lots of baby bunnies. As he puts them to sleep, they each decide they want a unique good night cuddle. As a person with several siblings, I could relate to this book. I often wanted special time with just my parents and a ritual just for us. The dad was very sweet and took the time to give each their special time.

Such a cute little book about bedtime! The illustrations are perfect and the story goes along great. This helps children to better understand it’s not always easy to go straight to sleep, and that mom and dad are there to help. Nice story, this will absolutely be a staple in our home!

I thought this book was precious. I would adopt this into a classroom setting for nighttime practices lesson or pajama day during dress-up days. The relationship the children had with their father was sweet and I loved the art.

Such a cute little bunny book! I love a good night time read that is the perfect blend of cheesy and fun.
Daddy bunny is ready for bed after wrestling to get the little ones down too. However the littlest bunny, Honey, has different plans…stalling plans….

This is a silly, cute book about a little bunny who wants a special cuddle from her daddy, they try all kinds of different ways to cuddle before finding the perfect one for her.
