Quick, practical read about prepping for not-entirely-crazy people. Audiobook wasn't the best format for this, as there were a lot of appendices and lists in an attached PDF, but I thought the authors did a nice job reading it.
A really helpful book that shows you exactly how to prepare for anything. (Literally. From earthquakes to nuclear attacks.) Without making you paranoid.
It's really easy to understand and start preparing immediately. There are lots of alternatives of gear to buy without breaking the bank.
No muss no fuss everyday preparedness without the extra helping of crazy that these types of topics veer into. Sensible and humorous too. Good checklists and good layout too.
Love this book, so much of the basic info you need to not just survive the next sh*t show what ever that is but be prepared for it. Also happy that it stays away from the usual right wing prepper junk.
Also note that the physical quality of the book is better than most trade paperbacks, has a light gloss to the pages and what seems to be a better binding that will make it last.
A very solid and easy to follow book to for when facing anything that requires survival skills. Not a book to read from beginning to end because lets be honestly are you really going to be Dwight Shrute from a book? It's definitely something to have in your house or to bring with you as an easy yet comprehensive reference/guide.
A thorough and comprehensive guide to disaster preparedness without the doom and gloom or apocalypse now tone. The books humorous voice makes it an enjoyable read and the provided checklists will make this a book I will continue to go back to.
This book covers everything you need to survive and thrive in any emergency. I learned a lot about many different subjects. The authors laid it out so all will understand. I highly recommend this book
