Christmas decorating maven Courtney Allison shows how to create a cozy and aspirational French country Christmas style wherever you are.
Celebrate the season in cozy French Country Cottage style with luscious photography and a plethora of inspiration and ideas for trees in themes from baubles to flowers; décor indoors and outdoors; flowers, garlands, and wreaths; tables, dining, and entertaining; entryways, stairways, and every room of the house; outbuildings; pretty packages; and twinkle lights galore. Plus a little bit of Christmas magic from a Paris apartment with a balcony overlooking the Eiffel Tower, a snowy mountain cabin, and a vintage travel trailer at the lake.
Whether you're into French Country style or not, if you love Christmas, this is a gorgeous book to sit and look thru. Page after page of beautiful trees, holiday decor, etc. I LOVE it. I'm sure I'll be taking some ideas from it for my own holiday decorating.
Finishing this a few days past the Christmas holiday, but great to sit and slowly enjoy all the lovely, detailed images. Allison had charming suggestions for multiple, themed tree decorations (so many beauties!), tablescapes for entertaining, and inspiring ways to add touches of the festive season throughout the home.
This is a beautiful, inspirational decorating book for Christmas. It features 25 different Christmas trees styled in unique themes to fit rooms. It also includes plans for decorating (including shopping for vintage decor items throughout the summer and forcing bulbs). The photography is gorgeous! Although I borrowed this from my library, I would consider buying a copy to keep in my repertoire of Christmas decorating inspiration books and magazines.
So beautiful, calming and sweet. Reminds me of growing up in the country and visiting a friend of the family who recently passed away. A gorgeous feast for the eyes.
Checked the book out from our local library for Christmas tablescape and home decor inspo- I was NOT disappointed! So many gorgeous ideas for the holidays, I'm thoroughly inspired!
Nice pictures, which is what you get a book like for. Feel free to quit reading the text in any Christmas book the first time you hit the word "magical", which will probably be very soon.
