A company trip to interview a potential new hire brings us face to face with a shrine maiden magical girl. Because now that I think about it, shrine maidens really are just medieval Japanese magical girls.

Anyway, introducing Yamimori, a super smart tech guy with an obvious soft spot for his childhood friend.

But, of course, we need more drama, so in addition to a prickly personality, we also have a sabotage plot. New villains, who dis?

And in a side note, is there anything more adorable than someone getting excited about their special interest? Niko is so precious, protect him at all costs.

New guy is cool! Suffering from success, he's just too good at everything so no one likes him. Not very relatable but still neat! I love Sakae's magical girl stuff, the transformation is so cool and Sparki is such a good boy.

Very cool field trip! I appreciate how they wove traditional Japanese culture into the history of magical girldom. Also, I totally stan the new potential engineer. New elements of lore and danger emerge!!

Magilumiere Magical Girls, Inc is out to recruit an new engineer. But their interview did not go as planned. And then there was the festival fiasco which allowed all sides to see each other in action. Plus the conspiracy to interfere played a major role in the near disaster. So more fun times ahead for our gallant crew! Looking forward to the next volume!
