Third Degree is an incredibly suspenseful novel. Ruth wants answers, lots of them. Answers to what the suspicious needle she was given as a child that resulted in a boy’s death. Answers as to why her mother hardly visited her in hospital, answers to almost everything. When her boyfriend quizzes her about her scars, she is determined to find them.
