Saving the city at 10 AM, lunch date at 12, and cheering on my gaming monster girls in the evening—life is busy.
There are plenty of reasons to get up in the morning if you're me—Pinky Peach, the unicorn-elf hybrid is one of them. Blossom the flower sprite is another one. Satina the satyress, Tahini the catgirl—need I go on?
But sometimes, even the mighty Solaris wants to call a day off. With the Void Cartel on the defensive and superheroes currently forced to work from the shadows, things are pretty relaxed at the moment, so I want to savor that for as long as I can. And yet...
There are still so many mysteries. How can I reach out to my sister again? Where is the Elloway, and can he save the city once and for all? For that matter...can I?

Genre: Sci-fi Harem romance slice of life with some super hero aspects
Power dynamics in harem: Everyone has strong opinions, but MC is the central character
Explicit/adult material: Explicit, hot. More focus on the relationships, but present and explicit. Monster girls.
Summary:
Brock is taking some time away from superheroing and the dreams girls get more of the familys time and energy. The inner dragon is also eager to find his and be returned to his hoard.
At the same time the void cartel is making moves in the background and making use of the freedom the lack of superheroes are granting them.
Narrators
Voice diversity: The voice diversity is very good and the voices fit the characters very well. Very impressive for a solo narration.
Pacing and intonation: So much heart and soul has been poured into the narration and it shows.
Sex scenes: Hot.
Alyssa poon does a fantastic work solo narrating this book.
Overall: 5 / 5 stars.
The book’s strengths.
- The writing. It is fun, I care for and about the characters, there are a ton of fun references, it doesn't take itself seriously and it is just a good time!
- The girls have agency and go for what they want. It is so nice to read harem stories where the girls are not just passive objects to conquer.
- The new girls are interesting and I look forward to getting to know them even better
- All the existing girls are getting a good amount of space to shine, in part through the harem interludes. I love it.
- I really enjoyed that the dreams girl part of the narrative is more central in this book.
- The narration

Gaining new strength after flying through interstellar space in “Solar Dragons Need Love, Too!, Book 4”, Brock reminds me of Rick Jones in Marvel Comics early versions of Captain Mar-Vell. Shared body? Check. Professor Luna as Professor Savannah? Check. Powers enhanced by Solar energy? Check. Numerous hot babes anxious to have sex with our MC? Well, okay - author Virgil Knightly has greatly improved on Stan Lee’s creation!
The author also continues the hilarious comparisons with DC Comics’ Gotham City, and in Book 4 even surprises us with a tie in to his “Monster Masseur” series!
There’s lots of ongoing adventures with the Dream Girls, Blossom the self-proclaimed genius is granted legal personhood, and the Void Cartel strikes! Lots of fun!
At the end, the author teases that Book 5 may be the end of the series, but if there’s enough interest (i.e., sales and reviews), he may write more. I have mixed feelings about this. Generally, I prefer a series in which the author delivers a planned arc. Some authors write 20+ books in a series, extending the original storyline until interest dies out….ending the series only after many of the later books become boring filler.
This has not happened with Solar Dragons Need Love, Too!, and it’s likely that a 6th or 7th book (perhaps more!) could be as entertaining as 1-4 have been, but the author has demonstrated talent with several other series and I encourage him to end this series, at whatever the appropriate volume may be, on a high note.
5* for Volume 4, and I look forward to Volume 5!

Too little story focus, too much harem focus
The harem line up is good, their interactions lovely. It does shatter my suspension of disbelief beyond redemption that these 5 beauties are pro Overwatch or LOL spinoff players.
(Not because I'm some sexist lil troll who thinks women are crap at video games, but because we're I'm from women groan at the mere mention of such games).
3 stars because this and previous book have not had enough focus on MC fighting or plotting, researching bad guys to take down. He is way too passive, just waiting for something terrible to happen. Spends all his time with harem... You can have too much of a good thing.
It is annoying when sometimes harem drama is prolonged by slow responses. Good times, but sometimes overreactions.
First two books had a perfect blend of work (heroism) and leisure (harem) but now it's all leisure which becomes dull when that's all you have.

Best One Yet
This is easily my favourite in the series with the first as the runner up. Brock’s upgrade, the interlude chapters were tons of fun. It’s fun seeing brock become more confident and brazen. His friendship with jasper and the dr is hilarious and fun. And the commissioner like always is a riot. The harem management is top class and as usual blossom is pure comedy. Loved the depth she was given in her person status chapter as the explanation for her quirkiness. Overall this was a grand slam and I definitely need more!

Brock and the girls have had a very interesting experience. The Void cartel managed to make things difficult, but things are back on track. The have a new girl in the house, and Brock has a crazy stalker Kitsuni that attacks Pinky. Brock united fully with his dragon it was just a great story all the way around. The fight with the Void Cartel was wild. You really need to read this series!

This series continues to remain fantastic with its story. The characters continue to evolve while at the same time offering continuing to have the charm they had when they were first introduced. The more adult scenes are still very descriptive and incredibly spicy. I can't wait for the 5th volume to come out on audible so I can continue the series.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It was funny and entertaining. The story and characters were incredibly interesting and engaging. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next. This book is definitely worth checking out.

Fourth times the charm.
So far, so good. The spice level remains consistent though these last three books. I'm enjoying the characters and there is growth among the girls. Thanks to the author for sharing their crazy fantasy world.

Gets better and better
The story progression is nice. I like how distinctive the personality of the girls are. Also, I didn't expect what happened with the Void Cartel.

Another great volume. Mostly focuses on Brock getting in touch with his dragon half and potential for expansion of the harem. Looking forward to next volume.

Loved it!
This series keeps being as entertaining as in book one, lots of laughter and great banter between the truly fun characters, highly recommended

This was an amazing installment. Not only is Pinky expecting, but we have a new harem member. Also, with Brock at Full power, the Void Cartel has their work cut out for them.
