Amanda K. Mann is a Cali girl, born and raised. She’s the mother of two amazing children, both a son and a daughter, and a wife to an amazingly supportive and loving Marine husband. Which means she gets to move every three years or so.
Animal lover and Supernatural addict, she spends most of her free time with her nose stuck in a book or typing away at some new idea that popped into her brain. Her blood type is caffeine and she is a sucker for cute otter pics.
This was a good story. I enjoyed the misunderstanding and forced proximity. I am not going to lie there were times I wanted to hit Mason with something lol but all in all good continue to the series.
This book starts seven months after the previous with Addison travelling to Creekwood to speak to Mason about the connection she felt with him when she first met him in Texas (when he helped to save her best friend and daughter from a psychotic ex). She had been taught that shifters were to be feared but with what she feels about him wants to find out the truth. Though he doesn’t make it easy.
Mason realised Addy was his fated mate when he helped Drew rescue her best friend but decides to not tell her as he knows she despises shifters. He also leaves the pack as he knows he will go mad when she rejects him. When he finds her at his trailer he’s shocked but refuses to talk, until a storm forces them to share the trailer and him to face his nightmare.
A great story, with humour, romance, strong protective men and even stronger willed women (the character development is brilliant). Like the first two in this series, I couldn’t put it down and can’t wait for the next.
I received a free ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Okay talk about drama, chemistry and secrets its all packed in this one exciting and intriguing story. A book that certainly is a must read and it will have you turning the pages to see what is happens next with these two. What I really enjoyed is these characters they are so amazing and great together. When you add in the drama along with tons of emotions. This story is truly delightful and amazing experience it's exciting and humorous! It wlll bring a smile to your face with their relationship which is such a delight and great to read which is such a pleasurable experience.Even the secondary characters are great. There is one thing I wish for and that is for more because I hate for a awesome story to end. But overall this is well worth it. I Highly Recommend Reading it.This is a great story that I know I will read more than once!
Absolutely my favorite so far. I loved Addison and Mason together in the last book and was looking forward to their story. Feeling Addison’s emotions as she steps outside of her comfort zone and everything she knows to fight for what she feels is right and watching Mason fight an internal battle over what he feels is the right thing to do and what he desperately wants was everything. Their story is perfect.
I enjoyed the first two books of this series, but this one is just too ridiculous. Mason decides that leaving his pack and descending into insanity makes more sense than just telling Addison that she’s his fated mate and seeing what happens? Sure, she started out bigoted against werewolves, but he would literally rather torture himself to death than just have one potentially painful conversation? No person would do this. I really dislike this kind of transparent plot engineering in stories.
Okay, Mason is my favorite. My absolute favorite. And I wanted to hug him the entirety of the book. To hug him and tell him everything would be alright. and Addison. The character development in that one is strong! She was so stuck in her ways but was able to open her mind and her heart to her mate. This book was absolutely amazing and I can't wait for the next one!!
I was so excited to read this. Addison and Mason at the end of book two got me excited to see how their story would be. It was interesting to see a shifter on the edge.
I can’t wait to see who the next couple will be in book four! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Off to a rocky start is a gross understatement when it came to this cross purpose couple. Raised with conflicting views, it takes courage for Addison to research and arrive at an understanding of herself that allows her to seek Mason. Now to make him see it isn't too late.
A quick read with a different butler of shifter story. One with fated mates that were separated a bit. Not giving it away. Just a different story. Super short read about an hour
Mason and Addison, talk about a lack of communication. Both too stubborn in the beginning to listen and actually talk to each other. Both knew what they wanted but neglected to say anything. #1 rule is communication in any relationship.
He leaves the pack believing that his mate doesn't want him and he doesn't want to go crazy around them. She's leaves in search of her mate to save them both.
