Best volume so far.

The way they handle the Saeki wanting to get with Mitsuki is really interesting. Basically he confronts both Mitsuki and Shinomiya and says he wants to get with Mitsuki and makes it a challenge of sorts, but not mean or behind their back. SO they go on a date all together. Awkward but also really funny at parts, and helps Saeki seems like a really good guy under it all. The second half is Mitsuki and Shinomiya finally having full on sex together and it's in a way I've never seen in manga or comics really, a back and forth struggle of basically "Whomever cums first loses" and makes for a really fun and exciting few chapters that rocket this volume to my favorite tus far.

More of this and I can see this romance manga becoming one of my favorites.

I ADORE SHINOMIYA AND MITSUKI. They make my heart feel so warm and soft 😭

Tbh, the only reason this is getting 4🌟 and not a higher rating is because the first half of this volume got on my nerves because of Saeki. Saeki is cute in his own way, but I didn’t need him being a pest and menace to society. He needed to back the fuck off 😩 Go devote your fiery feelings to someone who is willing and open to receive them.

Anyway. Saeki, as the true menace that he is, now has me rooting for a poly option. Out here with the fortune teller telling him he’s hella compatible with Shinomiya, and Saeki is just like “Bet. If y’all ever break up, I’m stealing one of you.” GO AWAY, SIR. LEAVE ME AND MY HETEROS ALONE. I WANT PEACE. I DON’T WANT TO BE DRAGGED TO THE HELL OF MY OWN MAKING: DREAMS OF POLY RELATIONSHIPS.

Returning to my beloved heteros. Absolutely living for the fact that Shinomiya and Mitsuki were finally able to talk about some of the tensions in their relationship 🙏🏼 I wanted to cheer them on as they finally got down and dirty 💖😭💖 I live and breathe for them. Shinomiya is so cute and sweet, and Mitsuki is also adorable and iconic. I want happiness for them so bad.

All in all, can’t wait to get to volume 6 WHERE THEY ARE IN WEDDING ATTIRE. I NEED IT LIKE I NEED BREATH!

Thank goodness, i think the Saeki storyline is finally over. It was cute how it all wrapped up at the end but i would have been happier to have had more time spent on just about anything else, up to and including more manhole cover metaphors 😂

Ladies on Top is the first smut manga I’ve read, and I was genuinely impressed, especially with the earlier volumes. The explicit scenes were bold and well-executed, and the storyline itself was surprisingly engaging. I appreciated how it explored the idea that everyone has unique kinks and desires, and how important it is to be open with a partner in fulfilling them. That said, I was a bit disappointed that the later volumes toned down the smut, which felt like a letdown after such a strong start. I also didn’t feel much genuine romance between the leads. To me, their relationship came across as primarily sexual, with the female lead often dominating the male lead in a way that felt unbalanced. While the concept is interesting, I would have liked to see more emotional depth and equal footing between the characters.

Spoiler warning: I absolutely hate the third wheel trope there’s always one person I’m cheering for way more than the other. And this time it was once again the original couple. I have no idea why the coworker felt the need to insert himself and their relationship. I found him annoying and clingy. That being said, I’m kind of curious to know if he’s going to get with one of the characters from the previous books. Because that would be an interesting twist And obviously that would happen quickly because there’s only two more volumes of this mango before it is complete. I really wish things were not censored blabbing that I understand why they are. But I am still enjoying the story, and I am very curious to see how it is going to end.

Such a cute, healthy, sexy couple I LOVE THEM 😭 Mitsuki Chan and Shinomiya San have gone through multiple problems as they navigate a “weird” dynamic in their relationship as compared to what’s “normal” in society that they think they might not ever get to There. But every time they are able to take a step back, communicate and overcome their troubles until finally…… FINALLY!!!! So happy for them, that was honesty one of the better love scenes I’ve seen in manga with it being hit and playful, but also so sweet, you can’t help but root for em 🫶🏼
Also bicon Saeki? He’s so adorable and I can’t wait to see what other meddling he’s up to 😝

FINALLY!!

As always, the art in this series is beautiful and I love how Mitsuki always looks like :3 This volume in particular made the second male lead super blushy and adorable I almost started rooting for him.

And the spicy scenes at the end were really good 🥵

My only criticism of this series is how goofy the censorship looks.
