The dynamics of the Bat-Family have always been a topic of interest—but being a parent can't be harder than being Batman...right?!
Continuing the exciting Webtoons tale! Batman needs a break. But with new vigilante Duke Thomas living in Wayne Manor and an endless supply of adopted, fostered, and biological superhero children to manage, Bruce Wayne has his hands full.

The episode with Jason and Bruce talking about PTSD and starting to heal their relationship is my entire personality. I cry and die inside every time I read it. That is all.
Still fun and very easy to read and digest, it continues with the well constructed blend of comedy and heart. Again, nothing overly thought-provoking or deep, but there's so much charm that it makes up for the lack of depth.
If you enjoyed the first volume, here's more of the same.
The Bat-Family lives together as a big foster family in Wayne Manor and get up to domestic hijinks between villains. It's mostly silly sitcom fun, but a few "very special episodes" about topics like PTSD, self-esteem, self-confidence, and work-life balance sneak in for some little dramatic moments.

Oh, this volume was even better than the first one. I know this won't be for everyone, and though the cutesy cozy vibes make feel like I'm reading fanfiction, I love this. I know that main series are all about the plot, but as someone who loves Batman and all the batfam characters, I'm always looking for the little moments of bonding, moments where character dynamics are explored and built upon. And so few titles give me what I want, so me, personally, I'm having a blast reading this.
Also, surprisingly, for such a lighthearted and wholesome collection, there were some stories that hit deep. That went really dark. Like Jason being triggered and having a panic attack. Or Steph's self-doubts, questioning her worth as a member of the team. Cass has another great chapter hating herself and the training she was given as a child. I honestly loved the real moments of doubts that made our heroes even stronger, and the characters that come to aide them and comfort them. There are also a couple of Tim centric short stories, and I loved to see his struggles feeling left out and then having Kate as his queer mentor. Truly, these short stories have amazing character moments that I would love to see explore in main/solo series. Sadly, I highly doubt it so I'll just keep reading Wayne Family Adventures.
So happy to see this one on Goodreads! I love this series and get excited each time there is a new update with a new story. *dances* Hope it will continue on for a long time to come. Will put the date on today, no clue when I exactly started~ I know that technically this one isn't out, but the WEBTOON is now at 90+ and I read them all, so I will count it.
Rating and Entertainment Value : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is the only reality of the Bat family I accept 🥹 They are all so precious and sweet to each other 😭 The family vibes are just ✨✨✨💞💞💞 I love seeing big brother Dick in action and seeing Bruce care for Jason + Barbara and Dick are literal soulmates (platonic or romantic)
This is an online comic, published in book form, that makes the assumption that all the Robins exist at once, and that Bruce Wayne has them all, if not living under his roof, is in close contact with them.
There are some cute stories in here. It is written for about middle grade on up. It addresses jealousy. It addressed PTSD. It addresses just being silly.
I like that this series doesn’t take itself seriously. I also like that it isn’t quite canon. That some of these people would not act this way.
But, it is all fun, and I look forward to reading the next volumes.
Not as enjoyable as the first volume for me, but still a lot of fun!
This one has more stories focused on the Batfamily member I'm not as interested in - Tim. There's like 4 chapters centering him here and they were as interesting to me personally. I enjoyed the stories centering Jason, Cass, and Steph though. The story with Jason and Damian was really cute.
We see more of Babs in this volume and that was great! More interaction with the world outside of Gotham with almost the entire Kent family. The JL appearances in the episode where Bruce can't tie a tie and Alfred is out of town was hilarious! I laughed out loud several times.
This series is so much fun and I hope DC never ruins it the way they did Super Sons. I think the fact they are slowly putting it on the DC comics app means they see it's value.
I had no idea this series existed until it came in at the library. It looked silly and cute so I figured I would give it a try. I was expecting more of a continuous story, but these 'issues' (or episodes, to use the term in the comic itself) are all essentially small one-shots. Everyone is a bit silly, some characters more than others, while still feeling at least a little connected to their canon personalities. Basically just a fluffy family dynamic, and holy heck the number of bat-people/new robins has proliferated since I stopped reading DC regularly. Keeping everyone straight outside the main 3 Robins was definitely hard for me. I don't know if I would recommend reading the whole thing straight through either; I enjoyed it but I almost didn't want to keep reading the series because it does get to be a bit repetitive after 25 'episodes' back to back. Definitely some gem stories/panels in each volume though.
This is my favourite Batman comic. There's a bit of every emotion and a bit of every character in the Bat family. Some strips make me laugh, cry, feel warm and fuzzy, and all the other things. I love it so much and I'm so glad they're publishing trade paperbacks instead of just leaving everything on Webtoon.
Reading these on webtoon and finished season 1 today! Some of my favorite episodes were the big brother arc that Dick has, the episodes that centered on Cassandra and her hyper-vigilance, and the Superman cameos!
I love this series so much!! The art style is fantastic, the wide range of scenarios keeps the story intriguing, and the found family brings all of the feels😭🫶
