This was such a fascinating collection to read. I've been very curious about the Celtic pantheon and Celtic paganism for quite sometime. Looking up information on the gods and practices can be overwhelming. There also isn't a ton of info out there just because the Celts/druids didn't keep records of their beliefs or histories so with that being said there is still a lot that we don't know and will never know.

These books are a great introduction to Celtic paganism both in modern day as well as being informative about what it may have looked like in the past. The first book (Celtic Magic) gives a fairly broad overview of Celtic paganism, which was super easy to digest, and I now feel ready to continue exploring the gods and beliefs. The second book (Irish Paganism) was so much fun to read. Not only did it provide insight into how the Celts in Ireland would've lived, but it also shared some of their myths/old tales.
The last two books (The Morrigan and Brigid) were also a ton of fun. These two Goddesses are two of the more popular gods and it was so much fun reading about how they may have been worshipped in the past, how they're worshipped today, as well as the stories behind them.

If you ever find yourself curious about Celtic paganism or want to learn more of the belief systems, this is a good place to start. These books don't necessarily go super into depth but just enough to give a decent introduction. I plan on reading more from Mari Silva soon. I'm also planning on reading more about the history of the Celts and Celtic paganism, so I'm pretty happy that I read this collection. I feel way more informed but still very curious.

Interesting Read, But…

I like the value of book bundles, especially one like this with four books. After reading it, though, I do find myself wondering how much is truly factual to old work Celts centuries ago. While ancient lands were definitely pagan (and druids were a particular flavor of paganism), I’m not sure that ancient Celtic mystics and holy people would have called themselves the Gaelic equivalent of a shaman. I particularly enjoyed reading about the Morrigan and Brigid…some of my favorites from Celtic mythology. Recommended with the caveat that most of what you read will probably not reflect the genuine spirituality and practices of the ancient Celts

I received a free copy of this bundle, but that did not affect my review.

Celtic Spirituality is a comprehensive review of Celtic history and its spiritual aspects. It presents the gods in detail providing their characteristics and ways of worship. It examines Druidry, Irish Paganism, and Shaminism in great detail. Even so the information is presented in a manner witch is easy to read and understand.

This is AI generated nonsense. I DNF. If you want an authentic look into Irish Paganism (not a generic "celtic paganism") check out Lora O'Brien.
