this textbook does an amazing job at describing different disabilities and how educators can help their students through school. i’ve learned a lot through this book and it’s really opened my eyes up to what school is like for students that have to fight to get a appropriate and effective education.

i read this book for my inclusive education class, and while it was very long and sometimes boring to get through, this has been one of my favorite textbooks i’ve ever read. each chapter features one or two stories of real students with disabilities and i found that reading about them made me connect so much more with the text.
