Sylvia Massara is a multi-genre author based in Sydney, Australia. She loves to dabble in wacky love affairs, drama, thrillers, scifi and anything else that takes her fancy over good coffee.

Born in Argentina from Italian descent and with a fusion of Spanish, Swiss and Scandinavian lineage, plus transplanted to Australia at age ten, Sylvia describes herself as a bit of a moggie cat by way of mixed pedigree. She is also a citizen of the world as she has travelled widely throughout most of her life and she is the proud owner of three passports.

As with most authors, Sylvia draws on her varied experience from the often puzzling tapestry of life and she tends to live vicariously through the many characters inside her head . Sylvia loves nature and communing with the animal kingdom (as her pampered kitty, Mia, will attest) . Occasionally, however, Sylvia ventures into the world of humans, albeit for a limited time as she prefers the unconditional and genuine company that animals bring to our planet.

Currently, Sylvia is working on her next novel plus she has a number of other projects on the go which have been approved by her eternal muse--the great David Bowie.

I don’t know if you can tell from the cover, but this isn’t set in Levittown or Trenton for that matter. The kangaroo should have given it away, and the sun is in the wrong place, thus the “Down Under” part. Sylvia Massara the main author in this installment is an Aussie, and still lives there; so we thought why not lets set it down there. To make it more interesting I brought in a Facebook friend of mine that is also an Australian resident to round things out. If you are looking for action, thrills and a little of that Aussie spirit in your read, then we have it here for you ‘mate. When was the last time you chomped on a ‘roo burger. Here is what is inside:

Sylvia Massara has been writing since her early teens and has written a number of plays, screenplays and, most recently, novels. Massara lives in Sydney, Australia.
Although a multi-genre writer, one of Massara's favourite genre is romance/chick lit, and she has a soft spot for chicks who are on the cusp of 40 and beyond. Yes, chicks still date after 40! To prove this, she wrote "The Other Boyfriend" (loosely based on her own life experience while she briefly lived in Taiwan and Hong Kong). Just recently, Massara released a third book, a romance/chick lit novel called "Like Casablanca"; this is a cross between internet dating and Rick's Cafe (also loosely based on her life).
Massara has also written a general fiction drama, "The Soul Bearers", a story inspired by real life events, and filled with hope and inspiration when overcoming life's obstacles and learning to live and love again.
Massara is the creator and host of The Lit Chick Show, a literary blog run as a mini-TV show that features authors of all genres, plus special guests and bits and pieces about anything literary.
Currently, Massara is working on a mystery series whose protagonist is a spunky and wiseass chick--and she's 48! Older women have much more fun.

Is this the first time you are hearing of the series? Have you heard or seen the covers but not tried one yet? What is the hold up? We are putting out a new one each week ,with different authors, different genres, and plenty of fun for everyone. Just put The Author’s Lab/Collaboration in your Amazon or Barnes &Nobles toolbar and you can find a story to satisfy or slake any taste from all ages, YA, paranormal, action, horror, and humor. Give them a try today, there is not a bummer in the bunch.
