It was a pretty decent collection of psychic/ghostly stories, compiled in 1923, so there's that to take into consideration. Like any compilation of stories from various authors from different decades there are some that you are bound to like while others not at all. Some were traditional short stories while others took the tone of reading a medical journal or a research paper. And then there were a couple that just flew over my head for one reason or another.
All-in-all, a good collection that I would recommend to people who like to read early 20th century literature.
