About the author

whose real name is Maadapoosi Krishnaswamy Govinda Kumar, is a famous Tamil cartoonist, journalist, writer and film critic who works for Ananda Vikatan magazine, a leading Tamil weekly.

During 1970s, he started his career as cartoonist at Ananda Vikatan magazine. Later he was assistant editor of Ananda Vikatan and Junior Vikatan(Tamil weekly).

வெறும் 63 பக்கங்களில் எத்தனை கொலையாளிகள் , எத்தனை தகவல்கள் .மதனின் தேடல் பாராட்டத்தக்கது.அன்ட்ரே சிக்காடிலோ முதற் கொலை செய்தது 42 வயதில்.(40 என்றும் சொல்லப்படுகிறது)ஆனால் ஒரு இடத்தில் முதற் கொலை செய்தது 44 என்று குறிப்பிடுகிறார் மதன்.ஹிட்லர் கொலை செய்த யூதர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை சுமார் 60 லட்சம் ஒரு கோடி அல்ல.இப்படி ஒரு சில தவறுகளை தவிர்த்துப் பார்த்தால் இது ஒரு அருமையான நூல்

I started this book in a pdf thinking that the author of the book is Sujatha. I was so in the mood of reading a thriller or a page turner. That is the main reason I chose Sujatha. Not only I was mistaken about the author but also the genre of the book. The author turned out to be Madhan and the genre turned out to be an analytical report on serial killers. God bless me in getting out of the awkward feeling that I got after reading about two serial killers of the same type. Discontinued.. and will never ever continue.

இந்த புத்தகம் வாங்கி சிறிது நாட்கள் கடந்து விட்டன(13-Jan-2019), இப்போது தான் வாசித்தேன். வாசிக்கத் தூண்டியது சைக்கோ படம்(தமிழ்) , வெறும் தொடர் கொலையாளிகளைப் பற்றி மட்டுமல்லாது மனிதன் தோன்றிய காலத்திலிருந்து கொடுங்கோளர்களின் ஆட்சி காலம் வரை மிருகத்தனமாக செயல்படும் மனிதர்களையும் , வேற்று இன மக்களின் மீதுள்ள வெறுப்பு , மண்ணாசை பெண்ணாசை என வன்முறைக்கான அனைத்து மூலக் கூறுகளையும் நமக்காக மிக எளிமையாகவும் சுவாரஸ்யமாகவும் பல தகவல்களை சேகரித்து நமக்கு ஒரு கதை போல இதில் மதன் பகிர்ந்திருக்கிறார்.

இந்த படைப்பை வாசித்ததில் பெருமிதம் கொள்கிறேன் . இதன் வாயிலாக என்னையும் சற்று அறிந்தேன், வாசிப்பின் நோக்கமும் இது தானே !

Not for weak hearts

The author starts with psycho killers listed below and most of them are disturbing read due to violence and horrific description. Madhan shows that they are in all categories they were just humans till the day all hell breaks loose, some had bad very bad childhood and there are some who are good and wealthy but does these things to fellow humans for fun.

Yet another brilliant work by Mr.Madan. This book takes you on a journey to the horrible dark side of humanity, the first part of the book explains how serial killers, their modus operandi and an analysis of their psychological profiles and probable reasons for their monstrous behavior.

The second part of the book compares human behavior against animal behavior especially the detailed presentation of Chimpanzee's life style and how violence erupts within their society is laudable. One of the most surprising part is presence of organized crime among Chimpanzees as it was thought that only humans are capable of executing crime in a planned manner.

The last part of the book deals with various dictators and tyrannic rulers of the history starting from Jhengis Khan upto Hitler, how they evolved into masters of mass murderers has been beautifully explained. Keep in Mind there will be horror strewn across the book as it is inevitable to explain the cruelty without going into the gory that has been created by these animals in human form.

This book changed my life and the perspective in which I saw people. Wow! Madhan I'm indebted to you for giving such a life changing experience. Mad hand book is like a tollway in which suddenly you will experience a toll booth where you find a friendly face giving a small satire and sometimes scaring the hell out of you. I am not well versed in Tamil and so it took me 1 year to finish reading this book,. Yes , of coz I read it twice!!

Superb work from Mathan. Excellent concept and i really enjoyed. One warning is it may not suite every people.
He tried conveying the harsh behaviour of people and also given warning then and there if there is some content which may not suit all people. To conclude, gave the details of the arrogant side of human.
