J’ai bien plus apprécié la profondeur des perso et de la dystopie dans ce tome, et et j’ai beaucoup apprécié que le héros aux allures chétives ne le soit pas tant que ça dans la réalité des choses.
Par contre j’ai pas pu attendre novembre donc j’ai fini le manga en scan sur internet 😭😭
Ça se finit vite, je pensais honnêtement qu’il y aurait plus de matières sur les enjeux politiques et sociaux de cette maladie qui se propagent et qui est contrôlée par les hauts puissants.. seul bémol !

Honestly, the entire plot is kinda weird, but I enjoy Sak and Lima. Every other character gives me major villain vibes. If they weren’t at The Academy and they were just roaming the world, I’d probably love it much more.

The plot thickened pretty fast. Bleak. Well so bleak.
Is it just me or does Sak come off as kinda on the neurodivergent spectrum? I thought so already in the first volume but it felt amplified here…

Oh well I guess apart from the overall suspenseful plot and the amazing art… I just can’t buy that Lima is already so caught up in Sak. They have known each other for such a short time. Well. I guess it matters that they’re core-user/caller but still. I don’t really was onboard fully with that development. I know a tumultuous & life-faring situation can make people feel whatever but still I just don’t feel it(!?).

And well Ginger can go & f himself. Gosh. Men in glasses always are the evil ones.

I binged the series. Volume by volume it wouldn’t have been as good since the suspense and mystery would have been taken away when time makes you forget them.
Storyline 10/10

Artwork 10/10
As a series it was dark, but well written. You feel for the history and future of the two main characters while feeling disappointed in how the world around them has shaped and twisted their personalities.
The only reason I gave the characters 9/10 is simply because I feel many people won’t understand their perspective. Many people put their own values and morals onto characters not looking at how they might actually be the way they are due to the storyline.
The artwork, although mostly black and white, is gorgeous.

I knew that man with the fake ass smile wasn't to be trusted.
Lima went from thinking about selling Sak for food to getting angry with him bc he is ready to sacrifice himself! (I saw this plot twist coming tbh)

I didn't find this as intriguing or engaging as the first book. But maybe it's just all the dread that's slowly building that's driving me insane.

No puedo expresar lo interesantísimo que es, los giros de la trama, la psicología de los personajes, el world building, la estética, la naturalidad que preserva el cuerpo de Lima en los dibujos...
