A native New Yorker, Chris Keniston was on her way to Australia when she fell in love with North Texas. Little did she know the balmy seventy-degree October days would turn into fry-an-egg-on-the-sidewalk heat in August!

Twenty years later, she started scribbling short stories about her favorite TV shows, giving them lives more to her liking - and the elusive happy ending. Not long after, a dear friend dragged her to a local writers’ meeting. After winning multiple writing contests and making the finals in the Romance Writers of America’s prestigious Golden Heart contest, she now spends her days, and nights, writing contemporary romantic fiction with lots of emotion, plenty of surprises, and, of course, the happily ever after.

Chris lives in suburban Dallas with her husband, two human children, and two canine children. Though she loves her puppies equally, she admits being especially attached to her German Shepherd rescue named Gunny. After all, even dogs deserve a happily ever after.

Gosh I love the Farraday Family! I love each of the books! I love the way Chris Keniston writes!

This is the fifteenth book in the Farraday Country. The main character is one of the Oklahoma cousins. Owen is working on rebuilding the Ghost Hotel in the reality TV show. He prides himself as being the number’s guy, even though he can swing a hammer with the rest of them. Owen feels he has to keep everything together! And now - he has another person to deal with - Connie Swenson. She is a thorn in his side.

Connie is not sure about this new task her boss has asked her to accomplish. She knows she can decorate and make everything look good. What she isn't so sure of is that Owen is who she is working with and he makes her feel something.

Aunt Eileen and the whole Farraday Clan help make the story so awesome. I love the strength of the family being stronger than each of them (single character). I love the dog that keeps showing up. I love family dinners! I love the romance between Owen and Connie. Owen by Chris Keniston is a great read!

I so enjoy this Farraday clan. Owen is from the Oklahoma Farraday’s, but is spending more time with the Texas Farraday’s. The construction cousins were working on the ghost town for the TV show. Owen was known as the grouchy Farraday as he was in charge of keeping in budget. Carol was one of the interior designers that was working on the ghost town. Owen and Carol did not get along on one of the first projects they worked on. I loved that the two had to work together and see other sides of each other. Of course Gray, the special day dog, was at it again! There were some funny parts that had me laughing. I encourage you to read the book. I was given a copy and voluntarily wrote a review.

This one was just ok for me. Not sure why I didn't care for it more, didn't really see the chemistry between Owen and Connie. I did like how everyone got one over on the horrid wife, who wanted brothel bling at the ghost town. Such a great win there!

It is interesting how many Farraday men they are and that they all are so handsome and kind. It makes you wish they existed, especially if you are from Oklahoma or Texas. We need some more of their stories in Oklahoma.
Owen is the money man for the construction company owned by the boys and their father. although he was not very good at math in school, handling large sums of money and making sure the budgets were met was something he really enjoyed. One of the interior designers was the bane to his existence. She didn't seem to have any idea about how to keep within the budget without someone standing over her pointing it out. Maybe he wouldn't have to work with her again.
Now Owen was headed to Texas to work on the restoration of a ghost town and the filming of their remodeling the town. It is only when he gets there that he finds that due to injuries, he will have to be working with Connie Swenson. Now he had to keep her on budget! However, he didn't plan to get emotionally attracted to her. What can he do now?

I am constantly amazed that every Chris Keniston book is so uniquely entertaining. This series is one of my all time favorites and each book warms my romantic heart.

Owen Farraday is under a time and financial crunch to get the hotel finished in the nearby ghost town he, his brothers and cousins are renovating, and do it within their budget. But it seems the designer they've worked with in the past has a problem sticking to her budget and now he's forced to work with her on this one as well.

Connie loves interior design and she's good at it. If one area goes over budget she does everything she can to find a way to even things out. But it seems being forced to work with the penny pinching, assume-the-worst Owen Farraday is unavoidable once again. Now, if she could control her body's reaction every time they are forced to work together.

Misunderstandings are easy when accusations are easier than listening.

I received an ARC and voluntarily offer this review.

I always enjoy reading books from this series. Owen isn't thrilled when Connie ends up being the interior designer that he will be working with on the renovated Ghost town hotel. Connie's job is never easy trying to balance the client's needs with the contractor's budget, but she always finds a way. Too bad Owen doesn't let her explain. Working side by side on this project, Owen realizes that Connie is perfect to work for and maybe perfect as a lifetime partner. I received a free copy of this ebook from the publisher. This is my honest and voluntarily given review. I love this sweet, clean romance. I love the humorous moments, which I won't spoil by describing them. This book can be enjoyed as a standalone, but it's even better when you can reconnect with characters from the previous stories.

Another wonderful installment of the Farraday Country family! These stories always have me so captivated that I have to force myself to stop reading!

Owen and some family members are working feverously to get the hotel at a ghost town finished for their reality show. Trying hard to stay within their budget, all that goes by the wayside with their normal designer not being able to work for them. They have to find someone else to fill those shoes so they hire Connie Swenson. She's quickly become an annoyance for Owen because she wants a certain design that doesn't fall within the budget. Connie believes Owen is a penny pincher, can these two finally come to an agreement? Let's talk about the sparks between Own and Connie that can't be ignored.....or can they?

Great story and great characters! It's always nice to visit with the Farraday family!

Love this series ever since I read Adam the first book in Farraday Country.
Now Owen and his brothers are doing renovations for part of a old ghost town....A Reality TV show known as the Construction Cousins. But when Owen comes into town to meet with her friends boss something very embarrassing happens. Seeing a women stand up when he thought he slapped his friend on her rump wasn’t her at all.
It seems now that Connie will be working with Owen on the remodeling of the hotel. She needs try hardest to get things right, and something changes between them. She has to try and make it professional.

A must read, and if you haven’t started this series I highly recommend. The first one if Free.
Check it out.

Owen, like every other Farraday Country book, is an absolutely delightful novel filled with humor and sweet romance. Chris Keniston makes sweet romance not to be missed. Book 15 focuses on another of the Oklahoma Farradays, twin Owen and designer Connie Swenson. Unexpected assigned to work with the Farraday's on the ghost town they are renovating, is surprised at how much she enjoys the small Texas town of Butler Creek, the Texas Farradays, and especially the grumpy Owen Farraday.
As I always do, I both pre-ordered a copy of the book and requested and ARC from author Chris Kenniston. Reading anything by Chris Keniston makes my day a little brighter.

The latest in the Farraday Country and the Farrady family, the dogs, Aunt Eileen and her hair brained schemes that somehow always have the best outcome. She does not let us down this time either. The Séance had me laughing so loud. Owen has been and still is quick to judge a book by its cover not giving Connie the benefit of the doubt until he spends more time with her. Then he finds he has erred and is man enough to apologise. She too formed an opinion of him which was not all that positive. Working together allows both to see each other in a new light. A fun read.

I won the book Owen by Chris Jenison in Goodreads giveaway.

The book was an easy, fun, and enjoyable read. The romance and between Owen and Connie was amazing. They both come from a large family and similar background. Connie is interested in Owen, but weary of him due to good looks, domineering, and she believes penny pinching ways. He think she is can't maintain a budget for her project expenses.

He was interesting how Connie and Owen are thrown together by work unsuspecting and the by family. The sparks are there and slowly if burns.

Great short romantic book. Highly recommend.

At least there were no toothy smiles/grins from the women in this one (seriously, is there a woman on the planet who wants to hear her smile described as toothy??). Also no barks of laughter from any of the men. Every time she writes that phrase I picture a man with his head back barking like a dog - and she uses the term repeatedly throughout the series!

Also Owen went from being 5 minutes older than Paxton in chapter 3 to 3 minutes younger than Paxton in chapter 10 and back to being 5 minutes older than him in the excerpt from Paxton's story at the end of this book.

“Owen” is the most recent story about the Farrady family which is my favorite series. Owen and his brothers are redesigning and fixing up the Ghost town buildings including the hotel. Connie is the designer hired to work on the remodel of the hotel. Chris Keniston always writes lovely stories about families who love and appreciate each other. Take a break from today and join with the Farraday family as they all find true love. You can never go wrong with one of these books.

I loved this next book in the Farraday Country series! I don't think I've read a bad one, and I've read them all. I love the way the characters from past and future books appear in every book, especially Aunt Eileen and Gray. Owen and Connie's story is wonderful. I was gifted an ARC and I'm voluntarily sharing my honest opinion.

This was the best in the series so far. I know you were sick during the writing but it was awesome. Owen and Connie were perfect for each other. As always a rocky start but true love in the end

Humor and heart go hand in hand. Owen is a renovation of the heart. Keniston brings a sassy heroine into the mix and strikes fixer upper gold. Owen is a captivating blend of romance and life lessons. An endearing combination.

Owen is in charge of the budget on the Ghost Town build when Connie has to fill in as the designer. This sets them up for a clash. Another great read with this wonderful family. I am very glad this series continues.

Owen and Connie have a slight misunderstanding and I loved how she handled it. I always enjoy going back to Farraday Country and this one didn't disappoint. Seems like there is a bit of a mystery with Owen's mom and one of his uncles. The scene with the "ghost" was pretty funny. Sweet ending.
