This is another sensual, emotional and beautiful story from Pippa Roscoe, I absolutely loved Luca and Hope, when Luca is hired to be Hope’s bodyguard he knows she is off-limits but that is going to be really hard to do with the attraction that is pulling him towards her.
Hope has a plan to keep control of the family empire, Harcourt’s and this means a trip to Austria, Luca takes control and changes the place she is to stay and is determined to not leave her side, but this stay turns into something so very sensual and beautiful that Hope knows she will never feel this way towards anyone again, but Harcourt’s is her priority at the moment even if her heart is breaking.
Luca is determined to keep Hope safe, but the walls he has built around his heart caused by his childhood are breaking down, the couple of days spent together are the best days of his life, he cannot let her go, ever.
I loved this one so much, the setting is gorgeous and Luca and Hope are such beautiful people who have been through some rough times in their lives that love and happiness is what they deserve and they deserve it together, they were meant for each other. This is a beautifully written story that pulled me in from page one and it is one that I highly recommend, it is sure to leave any reader feeling very happy, loved the epilogue, I look forward to Nate’s story.

Who doesn't love a good old fashioned bodyguard romance. Not so much of a threat involved in the story between Luca and Hope really, but it still had a little of the forbidden woven into it in relation to their backstories.
Plenty of chemistry and a decent storyline kept their romance moving along nicely, and it's always good to see the villain of the piece get their comeuppance at the end.

I received an Arc from Mills and Boon and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Well the premise was okay but I’m not sure the execution was the best I’ve read. Too many characters for me and I hate the way the villains are such one dimensional cardboard cut outs.
However the hero and heroine were great and when the story was just about them, I loved it.

Hope Harcourt’s twin brother Nate is recovering in a hospital and needs someone to protect Hope from the nasty paparazzi while he’s not around, especially now that Hope puts herself forward as her family’s prominent business’ CEO. Offered a deal he can’t refuse, Luca Calvino is hired to do the job, although he usually doesn’t do the bodyguard stuff because he’s the CEO of his own security company, keeping himself in the background for his own personal reasons. As soon as they meet, Hope and Luca felt highly attracted to each other but they fight with all their might to not give into temptation.
Hope’s life is in the spotlight. Luca needs to be behind the scenes. What will happen when their feelings for each other start to grow, and their affair becomes part of a dirty fight for the CEO position, threatening Hope and Luca’s carefully constructed lives?
Luca and Hope’s interactions, first as employee and employer, then as lovers, is full of chemistry and sexual tension. Their struggles to keep each other at arm’s length is intense, palpable, and so steamy it could burn this book’s pages. At the same time, when they start to trust each other, displaying their respective vulnerabilities, is where their romance is more credible. That said, I didn’t liked the blackmail subterfuge to separate them. Oh, Ms. Roscoe justified it perfectly and in the plot’s context is the best way to keep the storyline running, but I didn’t felt it as natural as it should be.
Ms. Roscoe is a great storyteller, she knows how to create a world every time she writes a book, and this one is a fantastic example of it. What catches my attention is the fact that the plot gives you the feeling that it’s incomplete; as if there’s more in this story to tell. And hey, the book has a prologue and a perfect epilogue. Yet I had the vibe that there’s something missing in the story. And why I can’t keep thinking Nate’s story needs to be told? Maybe we can have it in the near future, or at some moment next year? Just saying…
Even though that vibe, this is a well written and developed story with strong, fierce main characters with tons of personality and a chemistry that’s off the charts.

Probably a 4.5* because it didn't make me cry but definitely better than a 4* read.
We are leaving behind kings and queens and heading for a very traditional British institution. A family owned department store owned by the Harcourt family who are old money without being aristocracy.
Hope Harcourt grew up playing games in the notable London store with her twin brother Nate (who gets his own story in March 2024). She loves it more than anything and anyone, not even her annoying ex-fiancé who seems to pop up to defame her in the tabloids with monotonous regularity.
Nate is trapped in hospital and he's worried about this endless paparazzi nastiness that seems to hover over his sister. So he decides to persuade a hot Italian security CEO to take a personal interest in the situation.
Luca Calvino doesn't do the bodyguard stuff because he runs the show, carefully keeping out of the limelight for "reasons". Nate offers him a deal he can't refuse so the next thing we know, he's Hope's new driver, chauffeuring her around London.
It's fascinating to watch Hope and Luca interact. The attraction is right there from the start but neither can afford to give into it.
I loved that Hope was proactive in her job, although it took her a while to realise how to make it work for her. Both Luca and Hope have wounds that make them wary but it was clear from the start that they "got" each other.
Throw in a little forced proximity, some annoying paparazzi, a slimy cousin and a toad for an ex along with some family secrets on Luca's side and both are pushed in directions they didn't intend.
This was a very satisfying read with an epilogue that did have some spoilers for the next story about Nate and Gabby. I'm looking forward to reading it.

This is book eight in The Mills and Boon Modern : The Hot Winter Escapes series and it is Hope and Luca’s story. When Hope decides to get back her family’s empire she didn’t know that others would do anything possible to prevent that happening so her Brother Nate hires Luca to protect and make sure that his sister is safe. Luca doesn’t normally do bodyguard work but when asked to stay bye her side and protect Hope he takes the job vey seriously and to keep her safe he will need to stay close and prevent the ones that want to harm her bye him being Hope’s shadow. Hope and Luca have instant attraction and strong chemistry but for Luca to keep Hope safe he can’t get distracted especially as a relationship between them is not viable and off limits. This is a beautiful and emotional love story that will have you turning the pages and unable to put this book down and I can’t wait to read Nate’s story next.

I do love me a bodyguard story and this was done well. The writing is detailed and this h had been hurt before. I love how her bodyguard is someone her brother asked to look over her.
She had been hurt but was trying and her face was not just a pretty one. She was in the public eye and just wanted to be fine. Her attraction to this man unnerved her.
They shared a real connection and slowly got together. It was believable that they took the time they did and everything was paced well. The story was interesting and I am so happy that she can trust again in a solid guy this time. The perfect match for her.

In Bed with her Billionaire Bodyguard is an awesome romance with lots of electricity between Hope and Luca, highly emotional backgrounds, meddling family members and plenty of drama. Add in beautiful descriptions of a winter wonderland, steamy hot sexy times and a heroine who's finally going after everything she wants, leading to a wonderfully satisfying HEA and you've got an absolute keeper! I can't wait for Hope's twin brother Nate's story.

Hope’s brother is seriously ill and hires Luca’s company to watch over her. The company is going through some changes and unfortunately people are always out to hurt Hope. Hope is an incredibly strong woman but she longs to be loved for herself and not her money. Luca just wants to do a good job and get the contract that will skyrocket his company into new areas. Hope and Luca are both attracted to each other and unwilling they get involved but how will Hope feel when she finds out she was just a job to Luca? Such a great story, I enjoyed the characters and the romance.

Delectably tempting! Pippa Roscoe's offering in the Hot Winter Escapes series for Harlequin Presents is fast paced and highly satisfying! A subterfuge hides Luca's true intentions from Hope as she sets out to rescue her family empire from a takeover, but all bets are off when he has to bite the bullet and tell her his true identity and trust that she will let him help her when she needs it. I quite liked the simplicity of their relationship as key parts were happening in the background that were stirring up their emotions and leading them into each others arms. Highly enjoyable read!

I really enjoyed this steamy romance novel. It was easy to follow and short enough to binge read in one go. It had a good story and the main character's chemistry was off the charts. An overall good novel that I recommend.

Luca tries to protect her but the one after her is devious. I really liked how Hope dealt with the one who was causing problems all her life and ends up where she deserves. The bonus is that Luca and Hope are together as well.

I read this for university funnily enough and I actually did enjoy it, it was a very easy read although not my cup of tea. What however stops me from bumping it up higher is the fact that the ending felt incredibly contrived. It felt like for all of it's simplicity, the characters felt palpable and the parallels between them enriched the reading experience, only to be somewhat tarred with an incredibly cartoony and forced "marry me" at the end. I don't know if that is to fit a quota for the type of book that this is, but if the epilogue instead showed that they got married it would've felt like a much more natural conclusion than undermining Hope's big event at the end with a random proposal.

I love a bodyguard romance and this one certainly did not disappoint!
One of the main things I enjoyed about this book was the strong fmc! I love a badass, boss b*tch and that’s exactly what Hope was.
Hopes brother asks his friend, Luca to watch over his sister by being her bodyguard while he is in hospital, despite a new set of eyes watching her, Hope was not letting anything, or anyone take her away from her goal. Luca was strong in his own character, with a troubled background but he still listened to hope and let her shine.
The book was an easy to follow read, with spice and an intriguing plot line, we got a lovely HEA leaving you wanting to find out more about the side characters.
I really enjoyed this book and would recommend.
