Hesitation Of A Wolf is book three in the Dark Moon Pack series, which is part of the larger Paranormals of Crescent Creek World. If you enjoy reading about small towns with quirky characters and shifter romance stories with Fated Mates, you’ll love these books!
Jennifer Snyder lives in North Carolina where she spends most of her time writing New Adult and Young Adult Fiction, reading, and struggling to stay on top of housework. She is a tea lover with an obsession for Post-it notes and smooth writing pens. Jennifer lives with her husband and two children, who endure listening to songs that spur inspiration on repeat and tolerate her love for all paranormal, teenage-targeted TV shows.
It’s great to return to Dark Moon Pack again and watch Chloe and West’s relationship develop from a chance meeting to a sweet romance. It was great to watch the characters grow from their own pasts to something together. Great characters in an interesting world.

When West Castillo and Cherry meet their wolves are ecstatic and for the first time since he was turned West feels calm. But West has to deal with his need to find Zac and when West and Cherry are kidnapped by an unstable Shade they will need to find a way to escape. Cherry is happy within her pack for the first time in a long time. West is out to find out who Zac Beckett is. Both collide… literally and sparks fly. This is a nice romance… with bite. Cherry doesn’t want to get hurt whilst West can’t get her out of his head. This romance has everything from heated scenes to, action sequences to camaraderie and of course a nice HEA. If you like books about wold shifters and their mates then this book is worth reading.
West Castillo was a bounty hunter who intervened in an altercation between the bartender and a biker named Zac. Zac immediately shifted into his animal to attack West and ended up biting him. He also didn’t stick around to help him through what was about to happen to him as he has been turned into a shifter.
In trying to find Zac Beckett, West arrives in town and meets Cherry Grant, also a wolf shifter. West’s restless wolf abruptly calms down as the wolf takes notice of her. She is not pleased with the attraction she feels for him. But a rival pack is harassing Cherry's pack. Having found his fated mate, West is ready to step in and protect her, including helping deal with issues from the rival pack. Will she be willing to accept him as her mate if he can prove himself to her? Is he ready to settle down in Crescent Creek?
A lovely installment to the lives, loves and journeys of the Dark Moon Pack of Crescent Creek. Jennifer weaves great stories with tender romance and tense action all while including the shifter element well. Looking forward to the next one.
West is looking for the shifter that changed him. This leads him to Cresent Creek, where he bumps into Cherry. Cherry is the receptionist at Dark Moon Automotive and is happy that things have simmered down. But Mr. Coffee Shop Hottie is about to turn her life upside down.
Great addition to the series and a story that steals your heart leaving you wanting more.

West is on the hunt for the man/wolf that turned him into a beast. He literally bumps into Cherry and his beast calms for the first time. Cherry has finally settled in to pack life and things are looking up for her and her pack. West barrels into town sending her wolf into a frenzy and asking some hard questions. What will Fate have in store for Cherry and West?
I had such fun reading Hesitation of a Wolf, the third title in the Dark Moon Pack series. West is searching for one man, one nasty wolf who changed his life forever… and not in a way that West asked for. He’s tracked him down to this area, but his hunt will become secondary when he actually bumps into a fascinating woman, one his wolf is definitely interested in.
I adored Cherry. She’s recreated her life, she feels safe now, and she’s not backing down from anything. Certainly not from the attraction she and her wolf feel after spilling coffee at the feet of one handsome man. West might be a stranger, but he feels like so much more. West doesn’t understand his wolf’s need for this woman, but then, West doesn’t really acknowledge his wolf all that often. But right now, he’d be wise to pay attention to the beast he keeps on a tight rein.
Add in some protective posturing by friends, a lot of danger, and a pack of misfits that complete each other in a way that no others else can do. You’ll be captivated by Cherry and West, and their fast romance will have you laughing throughout their story. I love the bantering with the pack and the closeness that continues to grow in this newly formed wolf pack. If that sounds like a Paranormal or Shifter Romance that you’d love then dive into the Dark Moon Pack series right now. I’m betting you won’t regret it one little bit.

I love these parts from this story where "Mr. Coffee Shop hottie West, tries to get Cherry's attention for a coffee or an adult beverage later on, which makes her squirm".... there's gotta be something (love) in the air with all of these shifters... Cherry comes to the discovery that she's in love with West. They are a couple made to meet & fall in love with each other just like the other wolf shifters. They each find their mates from unusual but cool places like "Dark Moon Automotive", "The Caffinated Fox" or "Sugar Sweets Bakery". It's sweet, as West finds his forever pack home with the others & Cherry. It's a happily ever after story that ends with all of the couples in love, living in their pack land & making the best of life.
Thank you to Jennifer once again for a very romantic series x

West came to town trying to find Zac who had bitten him and left him to deal with his wolf alone wanted answers from him. Cherry bumped into West when she got coffee for the guys for their one month anniversary he wanted to buy her coffee and said no. West knew that there had to be a reason for wanting to be around her as his wolf was calm then. Went to the garage to get an oil change to see Cherry again but she didn’t accept his coffee invite, the girls told her to accept. They went for coffee and a walk then Shade tranquited them and tied them up and to torture them, they got away. Things turned out great for them. Good book!.

This series is best read in order from the Crescent Pack books through the Dark Moon Pack books. Each book is a relatively short read. This one is West and Cherry’s story. West was made werewolf against his will by Zac Beckett. Zac ran off, abandoning him to the change, so West has had to try to figure out things about being a werewolf on his own. We met Cherry in some of the earlier books, but in this one West comes looking for Zac, but instead finds Cherry. An engaging book with a happy ending.

This is a five-star read you need to hunt down. This is number three in the Dark Moon pack series and number four can’t come soon enough, I need to find out if Louis will meet his match. Crescent Creek just sounds like my type of place, and you just know that the minute West Castillo comes to town, he wont ever want to leave, as it just has that homely vibe. Also a little Cherry pie that I am sure he will find delicious, this has the drama to keep you hooked, but also the heat and romance to keep you turning pages. As always it shows us what a great author we have here, as they create characters and places that feel like home even to us readers.
Dark Moon Pack is a great series and the previous Cresent Pack series was too. When West has been turned into a werewolf against his will and left to fend for himself. I thought it was a cowardly move by Zac, and that West just had to find out what a werewolf is. Just when he is looking for Zac, he comes across Cherry and she is one of the people who also passed by in the other books. The chemistry and attraction between them is immediately palpable, there is tension and drama and plenty of steamy moments. This is highly recommended and also the books of the previous series.

West Castillo went to Crescent Creek to find the very person who had turned him but what he found was a love that would last a life time and beyond.
Cherry was part of the Dark Moon Pack and wasn’t looking for a mate, she’d had such a rough time and was happy living her life with her pack until he arrived!
Fate takes over to push them together and to find their perfect love.
Enjoy this wonderful addition to the series, a warm hearted read which touches your heart.

A lovely story of fated mates coming together. The book can be read as stand alone, but makes it more exciting and enjoyable if you have read the other books to create background. Only down point is very short so all happens quite quickly and would like more time to get to know the characters, build up their interaction and more time with these lovely pack of wolf shifters. If you like short stories, nice romance, supernatural and HEA you will enjoy this book.

Another charming addition to the Dark Moon Pack series. Nice to see the story from the female wolf perspective for a change. Was curious how Cherry would find her mate from book 1. Glad to see another woman escape a bad past and find herself and love.. The story is short and sweet. Hopefully book 4 will wrap up the Shade problem for all of the Cresecnt Creek characters.

West is in the hunt for the man who made his into a wolf shifter, it brings him to crescent creek, where more than answers await him. Cherry was finally feeling settled into life, with the pack now settling down too, things are looking up, until she meets West, who sets her wolf ablaze. Well written steamy, action, wolf shifter romance, a great addition to the series.
Looking for the wolf shifter that changed his life, West meets Cherry. An evil rival pack plagues Cherry's pack and tries to cause problem, but West is strong and protective especially now that he found his fated mate. I like stories of fated mates and there's drama and steam that catches your attention.

It was nice to see Cherry find a wolf mate. West seemed to be the perfect man for her. I hope they find Shade in the next book and finally put him in his place. Only one more book left and I'm going to be sad so see them go. I hope we get more from Crescent Creek.
This addition to the series finds West & Cherry finding each other. I'm enjoying how the pack is growing with old members & new comers. It's a bitter-sweet feel.

This is a good read for fans of shifter fiction. West has been turned into a shifter, in a most unpleasant way, and is struggling with his wolf. Meeting Cherry changes things for him, but a lot if drama has to be dealt with first. Quick paced fun.
I feel like if Zac wasn't already dead someone would have definitely taken him out. He was evil to the core. At least one good thing came out of him biting West, he found his mate in Cherry and a pack to call his own.
I love West and Cherry. I love the action in this story. I can’t wait for Shade to get what is coming to him. I loved the epilogue and how everything turned out.
