Rate this book
Lady Farayne Gleneden is a beautiful socialite. Bored with court life, she embarks on a life-changing journey. Her disguise as to who she truly is works. . .for a while and she enjoys seeing the "other side" of life--until a brutal attack one evening. Rescued by a mysterious man, he disappears before she can thank him. However, he is not quite whom he appears to be and contact with him introduces Farayne to another side of life. . .a side of shadow and damnation.

Fallen From Shadow Found In Grace is a gripping story of a young woman born into wealth and privilege--proof that money does not always equal happiness. Told in the narrative as flashbacks throughout her life, the reader will journey with Farayne, explore her dreams, hopes and ultimately the path in which her life takes.

A captivating and mesmerizing story, this book will have the reader hanging on every word until the shocking climactic last page. A must have for die-hard lovers of vampire romance.

I’m going to start this review by stating straight away this book is not the sort of thing I normally enjoy reading. I typically try my best to avoid the whole Vampire Romance genre, but the authoress was offering some of her books at a special price through her Myspace page and since I really dig her work I figured I’d give this one a chance. I was not entirely disappointed with my choice to do so.

Fallen From Shadow Found In Grace is the story of Lady Farayne Gleneden. She’s a socialite with a big heart and little to no idea of how the real world really works. She does, to her credit, set out to change this and take charge of her life, but her plan to educate herself and escape her life of bored luxury and false friends is foolhearted at best and dangerous at worst. And it is right when the danger starts to rear it’s ugly head that Garrison shows up to save her from all her troubles. Well, maybe not all her troubles. The happy couple do quickly find themselves in more danger then Faranyne can imagine or fathom.

There are more then a couple Vampire Romance cliches peppering this book’s storyline. I won’t go over all of them or beat the book up over them, but I would like to just once read a Vampire Romance that doesn’t involve vamps who live off animal blood.

On a higher note, what is a Romance of any sort without a few steamy sex scenes? And yes, this book certainly has them. Let me sum it up this way; bloody cunnilingus; bloody fellatio. Though a word of warning to those who like it, or at least like to read about it, rough, Garrison is a tender lover to a fault and sets the pace for most of their erotic adventures. There isn’t much bite in this vamp. All that is left up to Farayne, who fills the role nicely enough.

Without giving too much away, this is ultimately a story about coming to terms with the fact that life is often times not fair. It’s not a happily ever after fair tale of a romance, though the ending is highly romanticized.
