Love, love, love how this book, this series, takes everything you think you know, and then gives it super hard twist, and you’re never quite sure where it will land! We have our scholar and our wounded hero this time around. She is open to learning everything, whether it conflicts with what she knows or not. He is trying to hang on to what he has been taught to believe, while having experienced things contrary to it. Takes them a bit to solidify their connection, even though it has been there from the start. Totally invested in these characters and this storyline and cannot wait for more!!!!

In this book everything you thought you knew about Heaven and angels will completely make you go huh!! A warrior angel, a smart human and a myth will keep you wondering what will happen next. Eve Langlais never disappoints us with her ability to think outside the box! Loved it.
