Lucifer’s Daughter!

The heroine: Evelyn - her mom died three years ago and that is when she met Damien Astor. He obviously had strong feelings for her mother and on her deathbed, her mom asked Damien to look after Evelyn. Since then, the ultra-rich older gentleman has been her guardian angel. He helped her get through her mom’s death, find an apartment, and open her Yoga and Fitness studio which she owns with her gay bestie Alex. Damien comes to check up on her every so often and spares no expense when he helps her out.

The Heroes: Barak, Libin and Alwin - they are called the hand of Michael. The Archangel Michael is their father, he made them in his image, raised them and trained them to be an extension of himself. Michael asks them to find Lucifers heir on Earth and to find out if the heir has Lucifers insatiable desire for destruction. If so, then to deal with the threat.

“Barak,” our father began, placing a hand upon his head. “Wielder of Righteousness and Consequence. I trust you to deal justice without hesitation.”
“Libin, Wielder of Honor and Truth. Only your heart can see beyond prejudice or expectation.”
“Alwin, Wielder of Justice and Impartiality. The balance of Truth and Righteousness lies in your heart.”

The Story: Since Lucifer has been hanging around on Earth and causing trouble with humans, Michael is sent to take care of Lucifer and after hearing that Lucifer has a successor on Earth, he sends his hand (Rac, Li and Al) down to see if Lucifer’s progeny is anything like Lucifer. If so, they are supposed to end him or her. However, after meeting Eve, they all find that they are extremely attracted to her, though they still have to figure out if she is pure or corrupted like her father.

The story got better as it progressed, especially when Lucifer found the guys hanging around his daughter. It turned out he really loved her mother and losing her was just one more excuse for him to hate his own father. Though that seemed a bit odd to me because if he loved her so much, where was he when she was alive, and Eve was young?

Some people may enjoy this, it's not badly written. I just wish it had been labelled erotica that way I could have just skipped this book. 65% and nothing much but smut has happened. Considering this is a stand alone I just decided to stop. I don't have a problem with sexual scenes but there has to be a strong plot to go with it.

This didn't go the direction I thought it would go...!

So, I just finished reading this book, and my mind is going over everything that just happened. It didn't end the way I expected it to by any means. Well, okay, maybe in ONE fairly obvious way, but other than that? Yeah, I didn't see it coming.

Everly (or "Eve") is a co-owner of a yoga and fitness studio with her (gay) soul mate / best friend, Alex. They've been as close as they could possibly be since they were young, and they were practically inseparable. It was them against the world. Well, them and their investor, Damien, against the world. Eve didn't exactly know who he was. She had never seen him before until her mother was on her deathbed and caught them talking before her mom passed away. He promised to watch over Everly, and in his own way, that's exactly what he had done. He helped her get her own place, find a prime location for their yoga and fitness studio, help with investment costs, etc. In her mind, he was her guardian angel.

One day, she bumped into a man who was handsome beyond anyone's imagination. They click, and he admits to her that he's an angel. She kind of laughs it off, not really believing he is. Or that his two brothers that he introduces to her are, either. As she gets close to each guy, she seems to gain abilities. This is what finally convinces her that they're telling the truth.

As the book goes on, she discovers more about herself and her bloodline.

The ending was, as I stated at the beginning, NOT what I expected. I won't give away any more spoilers, but you'll probably see what I mean when you read it!

Something I like about the story is the idea of the three kingdoms. The Kingdom of Peace, the Kingdom of Innocents, and the Kingdom of the Fallen. I've never read a story that has these ideas, particularly the purpose of the Kingdom of the Fallen. It isn't "he11" as we would know it. It's a place where people can go to earn forgiveness and learn to forgive others and themselves so they can move forward. It's an interesting concept.

Overall, for a standalone book that isn't very long, it's got a lot of stuff going for it! It felt longer than it was, but not in a bad way!

Queen of the Fallen has all the feels of an amazing Reverse Harem; I loved reading it The characters are super amazing and the storyline is fast paced and full of action.
There is Evelyn or Eve as her friends call her is very unique, passionate about life, Yoga and Voodoo doughnuts.
Lucifer or Damián as Evelyn knows him as is like Evelyn's guardian Angel.. he helps her in many ways with her business and it's growth but he keeps a secret from Evelyn.
Alex is Eve's best friend and business partner.. and is like the brother that Eve never had.
Now add 3 hot Angels Al (Alwen), Li (Libin) and Rac (Barac) they were sent down to find Lucifer's offspring by the Arc Angel Michael, and little did they know if the offspring was male or female.
This story had me in it's clutches all the way to the vary last page and hungry for more just after reading page one. So if you like sassy, awkward, but funny heroines, Romance, Drool worthy Angels and steamy romance books that make you want more.. this book is for you.

Evelyn is such an amazing girl, I loved her immediately, her optimism and positive vibe is so contagious and she’s so funny, you can not like her 🥰, and her BFF Alex too, their are the picture perfect of friendship 🤗💕
The guys are so damn hot, God!!! 🥵... I couldn’t choose 😁, their powers / abilities are so cool.... OK, I'm a suc€er for angels, sue me!!! 😂
And I also loved (yes, there is a lot to love in this book 😅) the world building, the three kingdoms and the whole spiritual concept, it really resonated with me!!! 💞

I gave this a 3 star review, mostly because it was short. The notes mention it is a full novel at 52k words, but that' s a short novel: it should be closer to 80k. (Yes, 40k is the break for a novella, but readers are expecting a bit more....)

The real issue comes with character and relationship development. While Eve, the FMC, is reasonably well developed, the 3 men are not, and their relationship definitely is not. Her powers are glossed over until suddenly she's saving the world (euphemism, not a spoiler). There is simply no way you can fully develop something like that in only 52k words.

Otherwise, the writing was well done, as well as the explanation of the realms. I would love to see the author rewrite this into a full novel, or even a series. The basic storyline deserves it.

This is one hell of a steamy Reverse Harem & Paranormal Romance that once started I just had to keep reading. You find yourself drawn to Eve as she finds out things about herself and her life that she never knew, then throw in three hot and sexy angels that start to awaken her powers and you have an exciting and thrilling story that grabs you hook, line and sinker. I love Eve, she’s funny, she’s sassy and her relationships with these angel’s definitely gets hot and steamy. Twists and turns and a few surprises to keep you hanging off your seat as secrets are revealed and there is plenty of action, plenty of romance, plenty of mystery and I loved it!

This is a fun book, with lots of action, humor, and an interesting story line. I enjoyed the characters and love the friendship between Eve and Alex. It was really amusing when angels try to curse and can only say fork! This book has lots of action, Angels, Archangels, mystery, Lucifer, the Kingdom of Innocents, the Kingdom of the Fallen, romance, demons, auras, abilities, the bond of souls, suspense, Intimacy, the Kingdom of Peace, secrets revealed, love, yoga, family, friends, humor, twists and turns and more!

A normal yoga instructor finds out that she’s too sweet for this world… literally. Meets three Chris Hemsworth level hotties, and becomes an angel. Why not? This book was cute, but not really a masterpiece of plotting, prose or characterization. The L bomb gets dropped immediately while the characters are still having their first time together, after only knowing each other for one day. (To be fair, the one guy had used his powers to see her whole life beforehand, but that doesn’t explain the other guy and the FMC doing it too!)

Reverse Harems are not my go to books but this one was written well and so natural with the story. I really enjoyed the development of the story of the triplets (sons of Archangel Michael) Libin, Barak, and Alwin and Evelyn (Eve). Author Stephany Wallace writes this story in such depths that you are drawn into from the first page. You feel emotions right along with the characters. Great character development as well. Definitely check out this story in the collection. You won’t want to miss it.

Where's my soul bonds?

I would recommend the Queen of the Fallen if you're looking for an easy read, with handsome drool worthy angels and one unsuspecting adorably funny yoga instructor who turns out to be so much more. This story had fun characters. It had friendship, tell me everything type friendship. It had steam, and more steam, who doesn't love a team that's not too afraid of their own desires. This was a good read, I give it a solid 3 stars.

Another free SYKD book! I'm so glad I got to read this. The only real issue I had was the angels not being able to cuss. It just threw my brain for a loop. It is more smut than plot, but I have no issues with that. I also love that even though this was an angel book, it wasn't a super religious feeling. Very nicely done.
