It’s not every day that a literal angel comes swooping in to save my life.
At first, I thought he was one of them, the army of archangels Heaven-bent on destroying me for my role in saving the Nephilim so they could live a normal life among humans.
But Castiel didn’t save me out of the goodness of his heart. Or because there’s some greater plan for my life. He did it to get access to my powers.
Because what I have can give him what he most wants—a return to Heaven.
Now I’m running for my life with an angry angel who needs me to hurry up my magic and restore his soul and cursed wings back to their pure form.
But I’ve never dealt with pureblood angels. Even a fallen one with trust issues and powers that make me stagger just being near him. They’re too dangerous to get close to.
But the further we get from our enemy, the closer we get to each other… and the more I want to sabotage the spell that can take away his darkness.
I’m falling for a fallen, and I can’t decide whether to push him out of my life for good, or tear his clothes off and risk putting my life in danger that much more.
Viola Tempest is a dystopian fantasy and paranormal romance author who yearns to expose the truth of those in the modern world: the good, the bad, and the ugly. Her inspiration primarily stems from life experiences, those who annoy her, ex-boyfriends, and the crazy dreams that pop into her head every once in a while.
Wow! What a timing! This book absolutely fall onto my lap at the best of times. I wanted dark angels (as the one I picked is looong and drags and drags and drags on so couldnt get the end of it) or a YA series of 3 but the story was immensly declining to b3… and here comes this jewel and it totally swapped me in. Quick and easy read. Doesnt drag like a soap opera has a good story and all works fine. Love the instalove that they dont overthink (or usually the heroine is whinnying around) no, she knows what she likes, she wants it and gets it :D
I usually go for fae books but I so much wanted a dark winged fallen that I just also wanted this book so I am now in the Heavens that I got my hands on this! I needed this simple happy book with adventure, lively heroine and badboyvibe hero. Im happy happy happy….

Danika is a witch and helps people. She meets Castiel and her life changes forever. Castiel needs her help. Both are being chased and have to rely on each other to survive. This is a great story, which includes myths and legends with a touch of realism. Danika is powerful with a sensitive and caring personality. Castiel is somber and hurting, who still lives in his past to an extent. This is a story with multiple story arcs and keeps you entertained until the final page. I can see more stories to come which either follow Danika and Castiel or even other interesting secondary characters. This is a great story.
Danika is a witch just trying to help the innocent from a fate that they don't deserve. Till she meets a fallen angel that needs her help. On the run, they will fight powerful forces while finding love, maybe.
Great book, love Viola Tempest's creative genius. How this one ends... WOW.. LOVE. You love angels, fallen or not, archangels with attitudes that need adjusting, and a witch that will do everything and anything to help those in need... READ THIS ONE THEN!!.

Exciting and interesting the entire way through. I've noticed with Viola's books that they always leave me feeling satisfied despite them being shorter than my normal books. That means I can sit down and binge out a good story if I need a pick-me-up.
The characters are fun and balance each other well. I love the banter between them and they have decent growth in the short time we see them together.
I definitely recommend giving Viola's books a read if you're looking for a good quick story.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I love all of Viola Tempest's stories. This author definitely thinks outside the box. You will never get the same old stories from her. The story of Castiel and Danika is definitely an original. Not just a love story but action packed excitement throughout. I highly, highly recommend this book to everyone.

I enjoyed this story and thought is was a fun read. Basically a witch trying to help the hunted Nephilim meets the hot Castiel who has a plan and the fun is on. These two were a riot as they basically fail at trying to stay under the radar as they try to stay ahead of the bad guy. But it did entertain me and made me laugh a few times. A light quick read that I finished in one setting to see how it would end and if these two would stay on the run.
We have action and suspense. Danika is a witch and trys to save Nephilims'. She has angered an Angel. Castiel shows up on a scence and more H*** breaks out. What wil Danika do? What does Castiel really want? What will happen in the end game?.

Give me Fallen Angels and I am there for it. This story does not disappoint. It has Danika and Castiel coming together and finding on another. This story was a wonderful surprise for me and it's original storyline. Two people from opposite side working together. Great Quick read that I Loved!!! No Spoilers!
Saving the fallen is a shorter story about a witch and and angel. The witch is trying her best to do what she thinks is right and breaking rules along the way. This story had me gripped, and I couldn't put it down. I would recommend this book for anyone that likes angel/human/witch love stories. I will read the next book in this series.
Fallen angels are my guilty pleasure, I truly enjoy this kind of story so much and that's why I'm very picky when it comes to them.
This story did not disappoint, I loved how original it is, loved the characters and the super engaging storyline packed with action and a bunch of interesting characters.
I think this is a standalone since it doesn't end in a cliffhanger, but that makes me very sad because I really wanted more!
Non stop action packed. Kept me on the edge of my seat. Castiel is a fallen angel who needs Danika to help him to get back to heaven. A heart-pounding read.

This was an enjoyable read. Lots of world building and interesting characters. The romantic relationship between Danika and Castiel was slow but all the more enjoyable for it.
