Rate this book
Feng Shui is the ancient art of placement to create harmony in the environment. This book demystifies the subject and shows, in theory and in practice, how to apply its principles to the home. Questionnaires and diagrams help the reader to identify potential problem areas in their own lives and homes. Design solutions show how to overcome these problems to best effect. Case studies on every area of the home show 'before' and 'after' scenarios in a wide range of homes.

This book walks you through how to modify a space according to feng shui principles. The author provides a brief overview of the bagua (the feng shui map), the five elements (water, wood, fire, earth, and metal), and their significance. After the overview, the reader is introduced to various case studies (houses and/or rooms) and is given explanations of what is "wrong" and how the "problems" can be fixed. A good ancillary to help familiarize yourself with the practice of feng shui design.
