Absolutely loved this book. Eloquently written, with an abundance of information worth savoring(although I read this book in one day because I couldn't put it down). This was borrowed from the library. Now I need to purchase my own as a reference book. I can't wait to read more from Lillian Too.

Lillian Too's Practical Feng Shui : Symbols of Good Fortune welcomes both novice and practitioners as a handbook and guide to Feng Shui. Split into nine sections about symbols and their specific meanings, as well as discussions on rituals and ceremonies. Even a basic Zodiac lesson helps tie in the astrological element to the Chinese philosophical system of harmonizing everyone with the surrounding environment. In today's layman's terms, it takes most priority in arranging the objects that exist in your house, up to and including the house's architecture and location as well.

Author and Feng Shui expert Lillian Too touches on all main points of her craft. A touch of historical perspective. intimate descriptions of desirable items and their proper use and placement for maximum effectiveness. Achieving auspiciousness is key, and the tone flows with ease between tour guide and distant but friendly relative. For those who are professed novices to the world of Feng Shui, Too has crafted an enlightening if mildly essential starting point for the longstanding Eastern practice.
