And this author is from Oklahoma! I didn't read the Wedding one, but it read the first two. I didn't like the Vegas stuff half way through. But no doubt, Travis and Pidge will be together forever.

Solo perché non posso darne di più.
Uno splendido disastro è stato il mio primissimo romanzo, da quando ho iniziato a leggere.
Mi sono innamorata di Travis e Abby.
Quando ho visto che avevano messo la trilogia completa, l'ho subito riletto.
E tutte le emozioni sono tornate a galla.
Le risate, i pianti, la rabbia, la delusione.
Tutto.
Ne sono innamorata e quasi sicuramente lo rileggerò.
Per chi non li avesse mai letti, li consiglio tantissimo🤍

January 28, 2022Greatest book combo ever. Beautiful Disaster from Abby’s perspective and Walking Disaster from Travis’s perspective. This is an incredible story, told equally well from both perspectives (not an easy task but done superbly).

I liked the first book, the second was unbelievable to read the exact book I just finished, until the last chapter Mr and Mrs. Now there are 2 kids shes pregnant with number 3 . It was totally ridiculous and to charge people money for a duplicate. I am a avid reader and never came across someone copying the whole book saying the first was Abby’s view and the second one was Travis. Come on that is totally a joke and disrespectful to is , the readers who buy this! None of the authors I read does that copy and sell stuff. Joan Patton

No. No no no no no. I absolutely loved beautiful disaster. I gave it five out of five stars. Beautiful wedding was awful. This book was just annoying. Every part of it. Do yourself a favor. Read beautiful disaster and stop. Don’t bother with beautiful wedding.

I love this author. This was the first series of hers I finished. Such a great story teller. She makes you want to read more and become Engrosses in the characters.

Arrivata alla Eastern University, ha tutta l’intenzione di ricominciare da capo, ma tutto cambia quando incontra Travis Maddox. Lui è la perfetta definizione di ragazzo sbagliato e rappresenta tutto ciò da cui Abby ha giurato di stare lontana. Ma, quando i due si ritrovano a condividere lo stesso tetto, Travis dimostra un inaspettato mix di dolcezza e passionalità e per Abby sarà sempre più difficile resistergli.

Lei, determinata, testarda, dolce. Lui, sfacciato, protettivo, impetuoso. Sono l’esempio perfetto degli “opposti si attraggono”. Il loro rapporto inizia con una amicizia incredibilmente dolce, poi il confine tra amore e amicizia diventerà sempre più debole quando entrambi si renderanno conto che è impossibile resistere all’attrazione e ai sentimenti che provano.
Ho apprezzato il modo in cui Trav è cambiato quando si è reso conto di aver trovato la persona giusta.Il modo in cui è stato l’unico in grado leggere l’anima tormentata di lei.

Ho letto questo libro per la prima volta 10 anni fa. Ricordo di averlo amato alla follia e probabilmente se lo avessi recensito dopo la prima lettura gli avrei dato molte ⭐️. Avevo un ricordo positivo così quando ho saputo dell’uscita del film mi sono immersa in una rilettura. Ma rileggendo questo libro ora, devo ammettere che avrei voluto non averlo fatto. Ho trovato in alcuni momenti il comportamento dei protagonisti immaturo e tremendamente esagerato. Lui alcune volte troppo ossessivo e geloso nei suoi confronti, lei spesso incoerente nelle sue scelte. Peccato, perchè la storia di per se e la scrittura non sono male. Comunque, se amate le storie con i trope “friends to lovers” e forced proximity”, questo libro è quello giusto.💖

I've read all 5 of the books and loved every moment of them. I adored them in fact. Travis is a sweetheart behind a wall that many people put up. The 2nd book was my favourite as I preferred Travis's POV over Abby's. His emotions were more raw and Abbys were behind her poker face. I liked this about both of their stories. After seeing it from Travis's POV, a lot of Abby's book made sense to me though and I saw the otherside to Abby. Travis's book revealed a little more of Abby - with conversations between America and Travis. I am far too in tune with emotions so these books had me straight away feeling all that was felt on every level. I loved Shepley and Americas book too. It felt genuine. It allowed for those ups and downs in a long term relationship rather than the craziness of learning who and what each other is about (like in Travis and Abbys) in the first few months. I like reading stories that move on from the honeymoon periods into the difficulties that every relationship goes through. It makes them realistic and can be related to so many scenarios. The honeymoon type scenarios can be very predictable in some ways and everyone experiences them differently, long term relationships are on another level that I don't often find and they are always happy ever afters with very little in between. I'm not sure if I should read maddox brother series yet. I think my frame of mind is still on the beautiful series and I'd get lost on the way. So I'll wait to read the next ones. Loved them all. Well done Jamie McGuire.

la storia di Travis e Abby è la prima che ho letto dopo tanto tempo che non leggevo l'ho scelta perché mi serviva il romanticismo. La trilogia mi è piaciuta ma ha dei dettagli che non mi hanno convinto. Prima di tutto ritenevo più furbo fare un unico libro con i punti di vista di entrambi sarebbe stato divertente vederli contemporaneamente. Il punto di vista di lui mi è sembrato più reale ma forse proprio lui ha modificato eccessivamente la sua personalità. Lei un po’ troppo svampita però mi piace la sua seconda personalità devo dire che non vedere la solita ragazza fragile e indifesa essere protetta da un tipo è stato rincuorante e ha reso la storia più originale. Avrei voluto più litigi e chiarimenti prima del matrimonio ma come già detto sono soddisfatta nel complesso un buon libro e lui deve essere stato proprio un figo.

Questo libro mi è stato regalato al mio compleanno l'anno scorso dalle mie migliori amiche. Mi è piaciuto? NI. Per quanto mi riguarda il primo e il terzo libro ci siamo, Travis fa sognare ma il secondo libro si poteva evitare per quelle poche cose che sono state aggiunte. In pratica il primo libro è il pov di Abby, il secondo e' il pov di Travis, uguale se non per qualche pensiero in piu' di lui...
Ma alla fine è una lettura scorrevole, molto easy.

Il primo libro racconta la storia dal punto di vista della protagonista, il secondo (a mio parere molto più interessante) dal punto di vista della sua controparte maschile. Il terzo un breve sequel della loro storia amorosa. Lettura leggera, sicuramente adolescenziale, ma piacevole e priva di refusi.
