exceptional writing and a fantastic story. I will continue to reread

A great read that I can't seem to fathom why I hadn't opened this up sooner. It provides a nice entry into the world of the Witcher, though you should be prepared to Google some of the beasts he encounters, as I didn't realize there were so many different types. It also gives you a nice introduction to the main characters and their relationships. I greatly enjoyed this and it wasn't a difficult read at all. I would recommend this easily to anyone out there looking for a nice fantasy novel.

shrek (Geralt) and donkey(Roach) off on a whirlwind adventure. Pretty cool collection of short stories surrounding our favorite grumpy Witcher. Most of these short stories are dark, twisted versions of Grimm's fairy tales, which reflect their original tales.
