Creator of The Chase Fulton Novels series and The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins Series, Cap Daniels is a former sailing charter captain, scuba and sailing instructor, pilot, Air Force veteran, and civil servant of the U.S. Department of Defense. Raised far from the ocean in rural East Tennessee, his early infatuation with salt water was sparked by the fascinating, and sometimes true, sea stories told by his father, a retired Navy chief petty officer. Those stories of adventure on the high seas sent Cap in search of adventure of his own, which eventually landed him on Florida’s Gulf Coast where he and his wife Melissa spend as much time as possible on, in, and under the waters of the Emerald Coast.
With a headful of larger-than-life characters and their thrilling exploits, Cap pours his love of adventure and passion for the ocean onto the pages of his action adventure series, The Chase Fulton Novels and his new series Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins.
Inspired by the likes of John D. Macdonald’s Travis McGee, Randy Wayne White’s Doc Ford, and Wayne Stinnett’s Jesse McDermitt, Cap creates thrilling tales of action and adventure set throughout the Caribbean and coastal Florida and Georgia by intertwining nautical adventure with international espionage. Cap’s Chase Fulton Novels series promises to keep readers on the edge of their seats, trying to guess what new danger or adventure lies just around the corner.
The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins series is a spin-off starring the most controversial and intriguing character from the Chase Fulton Novels. After defecting to the United States, Anastasia "Anya" Burinkova, a former Russian SVR assassin and intelligence operative puts her lethal skill set into action against the powerful Russian Mafia. In this gritty, organized-crime thriller series, Cap Daniels takes his readers into the dark underworld of the Russian Mafia weaving actual events into fiction to leave the reader's heart pounding and their fingers itching to turn the page.

I am a reader of novels and love to have one available, at all times. The problem that I run into, it that I am a born again believer, in the same things as Singer. In fact, I am also and ordained Baptist minister, now retired. That being said, it is hard to find authors who do not splatter the novels with language that I don't want to read or hear. Or to dive into lurid sexual content. These take away from a story and a good writer does not need to use them to attract readers. My introduction to Cap Daniels was when I saw the first Chase Fulton novel, "The Opening Chase," on Kindle. I read it in a couple of days and could not wait for the next installment. Each has added my enjoyment and desire to see the next. Daniel's character development is one of the best that I have read. I would put him up with Cussler, in that regard. The team that he creates around Chase is believable and you get to know each of them. On of the premiere character is Jimmy "Singer" Grossman, a sniper and Baptist preacher. He becomes the spiritual advisor to Chase and the team. When I received the notice that Daniels had written a novel, where Singer writes an autobiography, I immediately ordered it. This story ticked all of the boxes for me. It is clean and free of the elements that turn me away from others. It builds on the theme of the Fulton novels, allowing the reader to see into the struggles that a man of God, called to a military specialty that separates souls from the body, that he would rather share the Gospel of Christ with. I cannot give a high enough recommendation for others to read this book, or any of the other series that he has penned. Thank you, Cap Daniels!
Singer is a collaboration of three profoundly spiritual men, writing a memoir of a fictional character that caused me to say "Is he not a real man?". I was in tears twice during the book, shared passages with my wife and felt as if I know that man, Jimmy! Cap, I really want to talk with you by phone soon to share some thoughts about Singer, ideas about the team, and feelings of a spiritual nature. Your writing colleagues I have yet to know but you, Cap, have captured my attention and excited my very soul with this magnificent work of fiction! Please continue to write and stir our hearts as you spin the yarn that binds Singer to Chase, Mongo and the rest of your cast! To all three of you, kudos. But the Glory goes to our Heavenly Writer! Well done! Paul
I was looking forward to this book as soon as I learned of it's conception. Thinking I'd love to learn more about the lives of these 'Chase Fulton Characters' and especially starting with possibly the most conflicted, interesting, and mysterious one, Singer! His story is fascinating and (As usual) brilliantly written but his conflicts are interesting and engaging! Not being a very religious man myself it certainly gave me pause and reason for introspection.... which the analysis and questions in the 'post script' enumerated and heightened even more... Overall: BRILLIANT!
Mr. Daniels always amazes me with the depth of his writing! He develops a story of people and pulls you in so you have to find out how the main person in the story develops! Best of all none of his characters survive alone! They have other capable people around them for support and guidance! This story is worth the time and effort to read. Keep your group writing and I will keep reading. By my estimate, there must be at least six more memoirs and I can't wait! Thanks!
I’ve never read an autobiography written by a fictional character. And I’ve never enjoyed an autobiography more than the one I just finished. When you read this book, and you should most definitely do so, you cannot say it’s complete upon finishing the Epilogue. You have to read the Author Notes and THEN you really need to read the thought provoking questions derived from the story lines of each chapter of the book. Only then can you experience the essence of this story. Thank you Cap, Dave and John for the collaboration on this story.
I love this book! It brought to mind my favorite author, Randy Alcorn, and his quest to write really good books as well as point people to Christ through fictional stories. Cap, I’ve enjoyed every book of your Chase Fulton series but “Singer” is a gem. Couldn’t put it down. As a Christian and an Army veteran I couldn’t stop turning pages and I also read the notes afterward and let me say that I read nothing that as a vet would make anything I did while serving seem belittled by your words. Thanks for the respect for vets that all your books exhibit.
If you're a fan if Cap Daniels' Chase Fulton novels, Singer is a must read & a delightful one, too. Cap is an excellent writer & this story adds weight & breadth to one of the feature characters of his books - Jimmy "Singer" Grossman. More than a story it is an examination of a spiritual experience & a faithful life devoted to God despite what life throws at a person. I couldn't put it down! Excellent!
Having read all Chase Fulton books, I have always enjoyed Mr. Daniels way of making characters real and believable. All of his books are exciting. This particular novels is assuredly one of the finest books I have ever read. His story of Singer touches your heart and makes you think about where you really stand with God. Wonderful. I will read it more than once. Thanks Cap!!
I have read all of your books at least three times, why ? Because this type of writing is the best, other authors for this genre pale in comparison, This is The Best book you've written so far!!! Having a Masters degree from U.C.LA in English a minor In archaic history your storeys make my day i usually read 3 To 4 books a week, this book will be hard to top !!! Cheers Carl
Cap Daniels has highlighted and honored one of his Chase Fulton series characters. One who we really knew little about, one who was a vital part of the team, one who, as a deadly sniper, was always watching over his comrades. Like many of Daniel's stories, he's brought out and deepened the patriotism of his readers. Singer's back story affected me on many levels, deep feelings of love, sadness, joy and amazement at the life he lived and endured. Excellent look into the character!
Dan, my heart is so full after reading this. It is a departure from your normal writing but gives access to the inner workings of a wonderful character. I am so thankful you joined that ARC reading group and gave me the opportunity to be your very first fan and a wonderful on-going friendship.
I have read all of the Chase Fulton series and have just finished Singer. I think it was one of my favorites. It was an in depth book about Singer, where he came from and how he came to be part of Chase's Team. I have a military background and find his experiences very compelling. It brought many memories back to me even though my experiences were not close to anything this book described. I thought it was well written and enjoyed his conversations with his God.
Cap crushes it. Though a departure from his “normal” genre, his Singer “origin story” kept me turning pages until I was done. Singer is one of my favorite characters not just because he is a Sniper, but because of his quiet calm that is from his faith. Amazing job writing this story Cap!
WOW!!! After reading the entire Chase Fulton series this is a Cap Daniels MASTERPIECE! One can not read this and not be touched in more ways than you could imagine. Inspiring is a word the can not do this book justice. If only we as a species could aspire to be what He has asked of us. Laus Deo Thank you for your awe-inspiring work.
Wow! Even though I’ve known Singer for years, I was dumbfounded to learn some of the stuff that was revealed in this wonderfully written bio. I lost sleep to complete this one, Cap. Being a minister of the gospel myself, I was especially intrigued and inspired by Singer’s faith and how he lived it out. Thank you, sir!
I am a Christian, and I only pray that my faith is half as Singer’s was described in this novel. When I started the book, I admit I had trouble understanding how a sniper could be a devout Believer. I now understand that not every sniper is one, but with God, all things are possible. GREAT BOOK! Thank you! In His Service, Jim Henderson CAPT USN(Ret)
Love, Peace and Tranquility... The greatest of these is Love.
Wow! Good book, read it in one sitting. Made me laugh, cry, gasp and ultimately grateful, for the men and women that work behind the scenes on our behalf. My Air Force veteran husband read it and recommends this book to everyone he meets. Thank you for sharing your story. MJ and BG
As with Caps two other novella, this book is off-base with his Chase series. But in it we see a character driven by the love of God, and His tender mercies He so richly bestows on us. I wasn't sure if Singer was a fictional character until reading the Authors notes.
It was amazing to read Singer's story. Thanks so much for bringing his character alive and also filled with brotherhood. This was a great read after a stressful weekend. I hope we can always have a grateful heart for the sacrifice our Service Men and Women give to our country every day.
Having read all of the Chase series some of the characters take on real life identities. This brings to life an important character and at the same time gives us opportunity to look back on our own life experiences and examine where we stand in our own faith. Very well done.
If you have read any or all of Cap's Chase series or his Anna books, then you already know how great of a writer he is. But this book sets a new standard for me as a reader for Christian faith fiction books. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a great read.
I know these are fiction stories. I have read every single book as soon as they arrive. The world today needs positive to believe in. Cap does an exceptional job with this group. Adding the belief of an awesome faith in God is a bonus. Thank you Cap.
It brings me so much closer to the Singer who is part of the Chase Fulton series. I believe in Jesus Christ my savior, but reading Singer's undying commitment makes my beliefs all that much stronger. This book was awesome and I couldn't put it down unless I had to.
While reading this book I became so into the character that I was convinced that he was a real person. If you enjoy a military book with a good back story, this one is for you. I read it in less than 48 hours. Superb, best one yet. Cap please keep them coming.
One of the most inspiring stories written. I loved the plot and the twists in the life of a soldier with the joys and heartaches that come with life. A page turner from beginning to end.
I really enjoyed n getting to know Singer on a more personal level. The book kept my attention from the first page to the last. I have enjoyed all of Cap Daniels books but I believe this is my favorite.
With this book "Singer" Cap challenges each of us, through his character, to examine our own lives and strength of faith. Something few fiction writers would do in today's world!!
I have read, and enjoyed, all of the Chase Fulton books but none came even close to touching me like this one. Felt more like reading an autobiography instead of fiction…
I highly recommend this book to everyone. It is a truly inspiring story that will touch its readers. Love the way the story walks you through a soldier’s journey through manhood.
