They took me, imprisoned me in a small room, and told me they were going to train me.
I was to be sold as a slave.
The training was harsh. When I fought them, the punishment was worse. There was no escape.
I wouldn’t let them break me. But then I was sold, under the control of a new master, and now I my ordeal is just beginning.
Publisher's Trained for Service is a dark romance and contains spoilers for Book 1 in this series. It contains spanking, sexual scenes, and intense and humiliating punishments. Please see the content warning inside the book.
Whilst this book was enjoyable because I’d read the first book already it was a bit too similar and so in turn a bit predictable which is a shame as I’m a huge Aspen fan and always look forward to reading what she’s written.
These books are great and I really enjoyed this one!
This one is about Jake, he's in the last book..we know what this " training " really is now so its not a surprise.. It's different types of acts in this book because Tessa is a fire cracker and Jake is her main trainer and her handler... There is a lot of triggers even though these guys aren't actual traffickers so be aware ..I think they're light reads because I read very dark books..however I even cringed at times..but there's the great HEA I need and this one is quite different from the last! Definitely worth reading...
Tessa quit her job after getting a call from the CIA and decided to go out an celebrate. When she wakes up she is alone and wondering how she ended up here. The moment she saw Jake who had a sadistic nature to him she hated but yet she was drawn to him and that was the beginning of the new painful and crazy chapter in her life
It was just a job, but then the possession crept in, blooming into love. Tessa thinks she will never call him daddy, but Jake ends up being the one she craves. This is an interesting story slightly piggy backing off the first with the plot. This can be read as a standalone, but makes more sense if book 1 is read first. Taken for training.
This one was 30 pages longer than the first book in the series and it showed (in a good way). We got at least a glimpse into what happens while they're on assignment. These are straight up guilty pleasure, I have a couple hours to kill, books and I love them for exactly what they are.
