Start a clean, fun cozy mystery series with two determined female sleuths, a lovable collie mix and two unruly goats, with the first ten books in the bestselling Little Leaf Creek Cozy Mystery Series in this box set.
Cassie’s new home in the country comes with an antiquated historical society, an ornery next-door neighbor, and a murder victim on her front lawn…
After the sudden death of her husband, Cassie Alberta leaves city life behind and moves to the small town of Little Leaf Creek, looking for a new beginning. She’s immediately charmed by the quaint little town, even though her first encounter with her neighbor’s adorable dog and cheeky goats shows her that she has a lot to learn about country life. Add in an unlikely friendship with her dessert-baking neighbor and a developing romance with a charming, handsome local, her new life is better than anything she expected.
The only problem is that Little Leaf Creek has more than its fair share of murder mysteries and Cassie's naturally curious nature kicks in. She can't resist lending a helping hand to get to the truth. She partners with her ex-cop next-door neighbor to do a little sleuthing, with a little help from their animal sidekicks. Their sleuthing adventures are filled with delicious desserts, fun, friendship and a whole lot of danger.

I love book sets as I can easily go from 1 to the other. I like the characters, especially Tessa. There is always something going on in Little Leaf Creek. I feel like I “know” the characters after 10 books. I have already downloaded the next 2 box sets.
The Little Leaf Creek Mysteries, Books 1-10, are a wonderful read. If you like quirky characters and small town atmosphere with a bit of romance added, these are for you. I'm ready for book 11!
The further into the book set I got, the more I disliked Cassie. She just gets more aggressive and selfish. I don’t care how small town, law enforcement would never allow Cassie and Tessa’s involvement
I had a lot of compassion for Cassie, starting over in a small town, a stranger and just wanting to settle. Honestly her first few days were something out of a nightmare. Interesting characters, definitely and a few twists and surprises. I'm looking forward to carrying on through this series as I have the box set so can just move through each book. Easy reading even with a murder.
Interesting plot, action, twists and suspense with great characters. I love how the mystery and clues gradually bring answers and put everything together. Hint of romance just adds another dimension. Not overly long story but has enough to let readers get sucked in. Read as part of the box set.
Cassie gets into trouble for putting herself at risk and interference in the case, she's at the heart of the action and has the town's focus. Meanwhile trying to bring some cheer to her new friends with a celebration meal. Will all go to plan? This had me frowning to smiling all the way through, wonderful read.
Murder, mystery and intrigue with Cassie and Tessa on the case hunting down suspects and clues. Lots of people to fill the role but it takes quite a bit to narrow things down. Entertaining throughout with a fair bit of action and suspense.
Who is up to no good? This could have been any number of people, from balloon racing to gambling to murder. Also another mystery going on with someone else. Honestly for a small town that should be safe and crime free I'm not sure I'd want to live there. The antics of the goats lighten things up as always. Intricate and exciting

Going to the local garden place turns into an adventure, finding more than the plants she had gone to collect. Sleuthing proves dangerous with the suspects and clues not always adding up and twisting away into something else. Goats and a dog save the day. Fabulous escape into a small town that has its share of trouble.
Ooh this points in so many directions and suspects, totally kept me guessing all the way. Loved the surprise that was planned and derailed and Maisy, who sounded like she just needed love and guidance. Wonderful twists, intrigue and past coming back to face Cassie. Loved it
This got quite scary a few times, lots of suspects and some short tempers along with secrets and odd behaviour. Poor Sebastian gets put on a back burner while they solve the case, not sure Cassie is that invested really. Complex, twisted and suspenseful with plenty going on and secrets unfolded for the most part. The animals sure won out on this one.
If you go down to the woods today you're sure of a big surprise. I must admit that ran through my mind reading this story, it certainly wasn't what the characters expected on their walk. The past comes back to the town and meets the present, it also tosses everyone into turmoil. Tessa, Cassie and Ollie are on the case but is it 1, 2 or 3 cases, I feel there may be more to come from some of these events. Of course despite twists, suspense and clue searching a book in this series would not be complete without the goats and dog. Fabulous.
Okay, except for the one that demonizes wind power. I believe it was book 6. Characters blatantly express false and negative diatribes against windmills, without sane characters expressing logical counterpoints. Ever hear of global warming? How about the jobs it would bring to the poor folks. They’re out in the middle of nowhere, so not sure why they’re worked up about views being obstructed or noise. I don’t like political pandering in my cozy mysteries.
I love the portrayals of the goats. They’re very fun, though I have no idea how realistic.
I haven’t tested the recipes but they sound wonderful.
In general, this series has a lot of elements that don’t seem plausible, though that’s okay in this genre.
Cassie is not always very likable or sincere seeming. If I met a person who acted like her in real life I would avoid her. She pretends to care so she can ask questions. So pushy! It’s amazing the other characters let her get away with her nosy accusations.
Sebastian is kind of a stalker in the early books. He hardly knows her yet is obsessed. Also,I don’t know what kind of farmer he is supposed to be. I grew up around dairy farmers and they did not have the spare time he has. Milking, feeding, haying, manure shoveling, etc.,etc. all day, every day. I know a couple of crop farmers and they’re always busy from dawn to dusk, too. All the time he spends around Cassie suggests either he is only a “gentleman farmer” or has some very reliable hired help we never hear about.
So, I wanted to give them three stars because they are so predictable and often one of the heroines does such stupid things. However, I reminded them I DID read all 10 and mostly enjoyed them. I liked forward to reading them when I had time to read. They deserve four stars.
This series is a positive delight. It's as delicious as the recipes included with a little touch of whimsy among the murders to brighten the scene. You get to know the main characters really well - and I am almost tempted to get a goat or two!
This author is exceptional, how she manages to create series of books that have you so invested in the characters and the place that you just keep on looking yourself, such wonderful humanity
This was an awesome book set.... the writing is excellent! She really brought all of the people to life for me... am anxiously awaiting the next set of books about Cassie and Little Leaf Creek!
I really enjoyed reading each one of these books. The author has a way of tying the characters together thru each book. I will be looking forward to reading more of her books!
I loved the people in this book. I have a pretty stressful job, and i read to relax. These books are feel good, fun, and i like the challenge of figuring out the criminal before the book ends. Enjoyed the series!
I liked these books and read through then very quickly. Love the characters and found myself wishing I could live in Little Leaf Creek. Tessa and Cassie really get themselves in some sticky situations.
Any of Cindy Bells books that I have read are so enjoyable. The characters and settings are relatable, the stories are fun and the characters are quirky. Love the recipe at the end of each story. If you like a cozy mystery you will gravitate to Cindy Bell.
This is a great series. While each book is a stand alone story it is great to see the development of the characters and learn about their back stories. Also love the touch of romance.
Did Not Finish!!! I made it through 5 of the 10 books and decided to quit wasting my time. Book 1 was not bad, but the next 4 books were exactly the same. Names were changed, but the plot line did not vary from one to the next.
I was surprised, I get bored with book sets, but this was great. I've never read this author before and will be looking for other books written by Cindy Bell.
I still can't understand why civilians think they can join investigations. Yet, they do. Some dangerous, some, kinda. Still, Harry & gang are a handful!
I was a little disappointed that the main characters were not very likeable. They seemed rude and abrupt. I did like Harry the dog and the two goats they were very funny.
Enjoyed the few I read but they were all the same just different people killed off. I finally gave up as I didn't care to keep reading the same book over and over.
