This awesome novel is about a girl named Teresa Knight who is an investigator and is on a murder case. This is the sequel to Strip Poker, but this time she is on a different case. Teresa goes to a teacher who teaches her to be much more mentally strong and be able to withstand anything that comes in her way. This novel is really seductive, sexy, hot, thrilling and just completely great to read. Teresa continues her journey and finds herself in many sticky situations. Teresa must face a rigorous training in order to be a part of this cult that are in to BDSM, meaning bondage and discipline, so you can imagine the crazy obstacles Teresa have to go through. Will Teresa be able to conquer her training and get into the elite BDSM cult? Will she solve this murder case or end up in a ditch?
Lisa Lawrence is an amazing writer I am very interested in her work, each line in the story is very vivid and wonderful. The way she uses diction is flawless, I could not get enough of it. Now this novel is very erotic but the structure of the story is cool. Now I cannot give too much away so you just have to find out for yourself if you can handle it.
I would recommend this book to whomever wants a hot and sexy read but keep it far far far away from small, young children who are not ready for such a fast and crazy novel. I hope you like this book as much as I did, but beware of your imagination.

In the follow-up to 2006 release of Strip Poker, Teresa Knight, once again, finds herself solving one of her many friends' many problems. When his sister is found dead in a New York alley seemingly of a drug buy gone bad, Jeff "Ah Jo" Lee contacts Teresa to get to the bottom. Since Anna was her friend as well, Teresa is determined to get bottom of it. However, soon after taking the case, she finds that her first lead, the victim's boyfriend, is murdered as well. Like always, Teresa finds herself going undercover, this time into a BDSM ring in New York.

I find that I enjoyed Beg Me more than Strip Poker although I did like that book as well. Teresa Knight makes a great heroine; I can't help but like her. Strong, determined, and a bit of a smart ass, she uses any--and all--assets to solve her cases, even if they do take her to strange places and puts her in even stranger situations. Filled with plenty of twists, turns and very sexy scenes, I give this book 4 stars.

Teresa Knight receives a call from an old friend Ah jo, Jeff Lee, his sister Anna has been murdered. Teresa knows Anna as well, but what she can't believe is that she was involved in drugs, and the strange tattoo on her leg, gang related?or something to distract the police?
The amount Jeff is paying will allow Teresa to live comfortably for sometime, but she would have taken the case anyways, out of friendship and obligation.
What Teresa had not bargained for is how far this would take her into the BDSM world,how far would she go?in this place there are no safe words, no limits, can she give herself into this even to solve the murder and if she does will she fall so far she is lost or found?
This is listed as erotica but was more a murder mystery with the hot sex secondary, and more it is a story of finding yourself, your interest and your limits.
Though not what I thought it would be this was a page turner and was read in one sitting, over all I enjoyed it greatly and look for more work from Lisa Lawrence.

I liked it, although it worked more as a page-turner murder mystery than erotica for me. Much better written than most of the erotica I've tried so far, with an actually intelligent and likeable protagonist and some hot scenes. But I wouldn't recommend this as a 50 Shades readalike unless the reader's also interested in mystery--that element is much stronger here.

Can you mix BDSM erotic, race and gender issues, a speedy thriller and political journalism without creating a big muddle? It looks like you can - if you're Lisa Lawrence.

This is a murder mystery heavy with bdsm erotica, and yea it was kinda hot.

Why not 5 stars? In this book, BDSM = Bad guys. Not cool. It makes all kinksters look like violent murderers.
